Dana-Tamika Fusions - Basalt and Obsidian by ErinPtah

I wanted to draw more fusions with Gem Vale Tamika, and this is what came out. Sandstone's fusion dance style is some kind of hip-hop/modern-dance routine. Before Intern Onyx becomes Mayor, their fusion is Basalt. When she upgrades to Mayor Cardinal Diamond, they further fuse into Obsidian. Basalt is a volcanic rock that can harden in a bunch of different formations; this one is based on columnar basalt, thus the four legs. Obsidian is a volcanic glass, sometimes with lovely effects -- in this case, gold sheen.

Trish-Winchell Fusion - Blue Lace Agate by ErinPtah

Had to do the Gem Vale version of my favorite tiny ship. When Pearl (Trish Hidge) fuses with her much-adored Bloodstone (Mayor Pamela Winchell), they become Pigeon Blood Agate. But of course Bloodstone is already a fusion herself. When she de-fuses and the Mayoral Gem moves on, will Pearl still be interested in Moss Agate...? Yes! Of course she will. And sometimes they'll fuse into Blue Lace Agate, and everything will be wonderful.

Janice's Giant Uncles by ErinPtah

Night Vale Gem Janice, with a whole bunch of Cecil's fusions! I really wanted some to-scale drawings of this crowd, to show just how big they can get. Moonstone + Onyx (Dana) = Aunt Holly Blue + Red Coral (Steve) = Uncle/Dad Abalone + The Gem in the Tan Jacket = Uncle Chaoite + Cardinal Diamond + Tan Jacket = Aunt Tranquillityite + Pyrite (Kevin) + StrexGems = Uncle (?) Strontium Titanate In the continuity where Strex wins, they force-fuse Janice, creating Rhinestone. Where her uncles get to be crisp, professional office workers, she basically turns into a Toddlers & Tiaras contestant. For scale, she's the same height as Moonstone. (Cubic Zirconia and Pyrite both adore her, without consciously knowing why.) And, finally...in a continuity where our protagonists decide to put some effort into helping Kevin, instead of "assuming he's fine without really paying attention" or "pre-emptively writing him off as a lost cause".... ...Sunstone gets de-Strexed, and at last Janice is able to meet the one uncle she had feared was lost forever.

               The airis swollen with heat, trembling as waves cause the very earth to shiver. SteveCarlsberg wipes the sweat from his neck, squinting in the midday sun bottle ofwater ready in hand. “You can do it.” He smiles at his daughter, who offers anervous grin back.

               “Iknow!” she says, but she sounds uncertain, eyes flickering from him to the warppad in front of her. “But…what if I can’t? I mean, I’m still not that good atsummoning my weapon, and Carlos said there’s a high level of gem activity inthe area we’re gonna be at….what if I can’t summon it in time?”
