hello everyone. this post is far too late, as i had queued this about a month ago but the post seems to have disappeared. i will not be holding a homestuck meet, though i am attending gencon and will be wearing a casual furry dave on saturday. with decreasing amounts of people cosplaying homestuck, and increasing difficulty in getting those who do attend the meet to listen, it's simply not worth doing. others may create a meet, and if they tag this blog in it i will reblog it to promote it, but i will not be the one hosting. have a wonderful gencon.

I don’t really know what people generally call this method of sigil making, so I’m just calling it “Letter Shaping” because you’re using the basic shapes from certain letters. This is the most common form of sigil making, and it allows the most creative influence. As you see above the sigils are for nearly the same thing, yet the sigils came out completely different. Not because the purpose was different, but because I approached them both a different creative way, and that’s what I like so much about this method. There’s a lot of freedom and personalization involved.

Everybody remember where this is located? Over by the dancing statues! Since I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to make this meet ‘official’, and if I can’t make it official once I’m at the con, we’re heading back to the classic Homestuck photoshoot spot, weather permitting.

I myself will only be cosplaying Homestuck on Saturday, and I’ll be holding the meet at 4 p.m. I’ll be heading at the statues around 3:30, so keep an eye out for a very small Godtier Dave Strider holding a Tiger plushie!
