Right. So, uhm, this happened:

I think it’s fair to say that this tweet opens up a new chapter in the #Saveintheflesh story…So let’s get to work!

Now, what can we do?

1. Dominic tells us the first step himself

I know we’re all tired and sick of signing petitions at this point, but it is important that Dominic is able to show networks/possible financiers/etc some form of document thata proves to them that the money they invest will not be lost because of an unsuccessfull project. The old petitions all gained an impressive amount of signatures, but financiers can’t be sure that fans have not “moved on” in the mean time and that they are still interested in the show. Here’s a new petition calling to BBC, Netflix, Amazon and GoFundME as well as every person in charge of a decision on the special, ensuring them that we still want a continuation of the show and that we are willing to support this special in every way. Sign it, get your friends to sign it!

3. Getting attention to the show and the new developments: One thing we have a lot of experience in is mass tweets. Even when a tweet is not trending, people notice when a hashtag is suddenly flooded with new tweets. Fnas that aren’t as active in the fandom anymore notice that something is happening again, “new” fans get to contribute to something great, people outside the fandom get interested in “that weird little show”. You all know the mass tweet drill. Time is tomorrow, Friday 10th of March, 8pm GMT. If you need inspiration about what to tweet about, here’s a link to a post about that from an old mass tweet event. Be sure to use a different hashtag though! The hashtag for tomorrow is simply #InTheFlesh
