INTRODUCTION!

Hi! This blog is about the general scope of my AU, which also includes Virtualscape and Company [though this blog is more branched out]. I will post silly/stupid/depressing headcanons of various coaches here.

I have a series with all my fics in this AU: Solaphy's JD AU - solaphy - Just Dance (Video Games) [Archive of Our Own] The posting schedule might be 1-2 posts a day depending on my schedule. Feel free to submit asks for both Virtualscape and Company, and other coaches here! ok that's it

Biological (not really) Stages of a Deity/Demigod

(Some demigods do not go through this process and are directly born as coaches. Very few demigods are born as mortal coaches but possess their power, and as such they have to be inaugurated by Selios herself [cough cough the traveler])

Younger deities/demis can also change between forms frequently, either intentionally or not. [150-500 years] Also, the ones with shapeshifter powers do this (ex: Nefertari, Aurelia) [though the younger ones will have a harder time controlling it nonetheless]. The older deities tend to stay in coach form, though. Stage 1: Wisp Generic wisp made out of Flow. Much of the Star Kin's [any deity/demi created by Sagittarius) wisps were made in the Flow Nebula, but they either come from a deity or come out of nowhere (for Selios, Sagittarius, and Kan'Dake). The wisps are different colors, but they don't mean anything in relation to powers and such. A deity's wisp usually stays in Floworld, while a demigod's wisp can be anywhere in Space. A deity/demi spends their first 100 years in this form.

Stage 2: Sigil This form represents either an animal, a symbol, or an abstract idea. In this form, you can tell what powers they have. The color scheme is based off of the coach form. A deity/demi is in this form from their age 100 to 150. Stage 3: Coach form Now, the deity/demi looks like a real coach, having a human anatomy. They can create and control their Flow far better than mortals, though. From age 150 onwards, they are coaches.

Basically, Selios, Sagittarius, and Kan'Dake all spent the first 150 years of the Danceverses becoming a coach. Then, they actually started creating the Danceverses, but that's something for another post. But, since they're deities, 150 years really isn't that long for them. Expect deities to refer to their first 150 years as 'infancy'.

Oh yeah btw the deities/demis don't really count their first 150 years of life as living as they wouldn't be conscious, only aware of their surroundings. So, while Wanderlust is technically 180 years old, in 'mortal age' [years in their coach form], he's 30. He knows nothing before that, only that his parents were busy making sure that he wouldn't be lost to the Danceverses

in this AU, Saxobeat had no idea that Liza got kidnapped by Night Swan in Enter The Danceverses, so at Luz Solar (she was buying supplies for the bigger party that was SUPPOSED to happen after Wanderlust toured Sara)...

"Wanderlust! How'd the Celebrating The Human Dance go?"

"I'm sorry to tell you this."

"...oh..."

And then Sara just stares at them with a traumatized look, yk, because her very first big experience in the Danceverses is watching some coaches get kidnapped [and by Night Swan too].

Amanita is very petty, which is a great Dancity supervillain attribute. [Also very common; 'Vector'/Waveman is also very petty for no reason]

Headcanon: Feel So Right and 4x4 are Showdown maps that did not make it to the finals but made it to the semifinals. Feel So Right represents Dancity, and 4x4 represents Carnivallium.

Poppy and Daisy were born in Melosia, but they moved to Dancity during high school.

Vanity is one grade level lower than Julia due to having failed his sophomore year, despite being the same age as her.

Scotty was nearly kidnapped, but luckily Summer and her friends came to save the day!

Jett, Poppy, and Julia started off as online friends, but they eventually met each other and bonded well.

ok so in time for the wonder tales pack... Facts about the Gorgons! 1. All of them are currently in the Portal of No Return for cursing a fellow deity, Queen Alethea. 2. Stheno has the most humor of the group. Medusa is the most level-headed of the bunch and a great leader. Euryale is the best speaker and a very good liar. 3. None of them really have any major grudges against anyone; they just want to cause a bit of chaos whenever they can! They're quite neutral, believe it or not. [They do not care about Night Swan whatsoever. But, if she can get them out of the Portal...]

gotta love how wanderlust is technically over 150 years old which means none of the popular ships associated w/ him work in this AU

uhh so i didn't really have anything for Phéa Nox but now i do thanks to the lore short Phéa was a human like Leda. In fact, they were childhood friends! Leda even brought her to the Danceverses. Phéa's last name wasn't intially Nox, but when they became romantic partners, it was. They had a decent relationship, however Phéa didn't know about her relationship with the Traveler. Once she learned this, she felt betrayed, but she still believed that Leda was a good person.

The tower in the background was a symbol of their love.

However, as Leda descended into insanity and stayed in Eternyx, even abandoning the Traveler for Cygnus, Phéa eventually realized that nothing was going to change. So, Phéa decided to face her fears and broke away from Leda as she saw what her old partner was going to become. The light was still there, as was the guilt, but Phéa had become a new person. A phoenix, if you will. She let go of Leda and now left the medieval landscape to embrace a new life.

Updates to Dancing For My Soul and any creation of art is going to be slowed down because my finals are coming up! (I also have an AP coming up too)

How were the Danceverses created?

Each of them has a core made out of pure Flow.

Floworld is simple; it is quite literally a huge mass of Flow guarding the sanctum of the Gods, although there is stuff like sand and stone.

The rest of the Danceverses were co-created by Regnir, the deity of land. There, each has a solid ground, and then Kan'Dake would just populate the area with mortal coaches.

Eternyx, however, has a core of Dark Flow. It was also made a while after the other Danceverses were made. The deities were getting worried about the fact that negativity was promoting Dark Flow, so they simply put all of it that could be developing in any mortal's mind into the core of Eternyx.

The Virtualscape fed off of each of the Danceverse cores, which explains its expansiveness. For a while, it was composed of separate areas, but as Space developed and more Flow was spreading throughout (also reverse-engineered by Saber), it soon became a large area that was the closest to Earth.

Don't worry, you won't have to expect any of them to implode on itself anytime soon!
