the art of making someone feel seen and feel special IS the highest art

dark academia makeup
- don’t conceal your dark undereye area; people should know that you have better things to do at night than sleep
- strong dark brows with sharp angles; I recommend a brow pomade
- blush, blush, blush; you want to look like you’ve just stepped in from outside where the bitter wind has been kissing your face most ardently. A favorite touch of mine is applying not just to the apples of your cheeks but to the bridge of your nose and blending outwards
- mascara, and a touch of something shimmery in the inner corners of each eye
- lipstick (if you so chose) ; brightly pigmented reds or dark shades of plums, purples and browns. Use a lip liner of a similar shade to make sure the edges of your lipstick don’t feather out, and dab setting powder onto your lips once you’ve put the color on; it will keep your lipstick in place no matter how many statues you kiss throughout the day
