This scene is from my and friends fantasy AU RP where after ALMOST 7years of IRL time (2,5 in game) Genyatta finally had their first child <3
Childs first name will be Kuura or Kuurankukka (aka Frost - Frostflower). In our AU every faun will have "childhood" name and when they reach maturity/harness Iris there will be another naming event.
I really wanted to capture that gentle moment and use it as a practice for interior and lightning. There was supposed to be broken eggshells on the bed too, but I just got way too impatient get this kicked from my WIP list lol.
Also seeing some signs that OW might be having some sort of renaissance gave me motivation to finish this! Hopefully it will keep my motivation up since my RP partner basically lost interest and dropped our writings. Sad for me, but understandable.
That is only one of the reasons my content count has slowly dwindled. I've been trying to take being artist more seriously. Applying into local artist alleys, doing non-fan-art stuff like whole ass comic, felting, commissions etc... On the negative side; AI. I hate that generative shit and I don't want my creations being exploited to feed that machine. I was already very averse towards social media, but now it has evolved into full on loathing... Slowly turning to apathy.
Tumblr has always been THE place for me, but interactions are dwindling. Sharing with wider audience isn't a necessity for me personally, so when even that possible delight of reading comments/tags is removed there isn't a lot of motivation for me.
I also know my AUs are super self indulgent to the point of almost being OC's so it's more than understandable that these works aren't something people interact with. I WOULD like to do more "canon" stuff, but my personal preference to show intimacy through physical softness kinda clashes with metal :') Maybe I'll find some type of work around...
