If John said that he isn’t in most the scenes Rey has with Kylo, and Daisy says that Kylo and Rey’s relationship evovles, then there has be an actual scene where Kylo confronts Rey about why she rejected him, and I can’t wait for that pain train.

All This Mask Stuff

All right, people, some of you need to calm down about this mask business. Of course that thing was coming back. I have one word for you:

I mean, come on. That mask is on just about everything ST-related out there. Kids love it. They will want to sell both toys of Evil Masked Kylo Ren and Good Hero Ben Solo. Twice the profit! This is also one of my reasons behind my prevailing Kylo/Ben’s Lightsaber Will Turn White theory, but that’s a post for another time. There’s a few ways this could go down.

The whole thing could finally break in a dramatic moment of redemption:

Or be removed by someone else after he’s passed out doing something heroic, noble, and probably stupid. Bonus points if they have no idea who it is for a Spiderman-like “He’s just some kid” moment:

Or, we go for MAXIMUM POETRY where Rey is taking away the shattered remnants of his broken mask (again, after doing something Heroic and Stupid and Solo-ish), cradling him in her arms before she saves him with the POWER OF LOVE.

Or, I dunno, something like that. My point is stop panicking, because this kind of wild speculation is how you get Anakin Is A Force Sloth.

Bringing this back in light of broken mask confirmation, and Disney’s ability to now sell both Undamaged Mask Kylo and Battle Damaged Mask Kylo, AS WELL AS unmasked Hero Ben Solo. If there is an opportunity for multiple action figures to be made and sold (and let’s face it - Kylo figures sell), it will happen.

I don’t care either way tbh. Disney has been in the marketing business longer than any of y'all have been around so they kind of know what they’re doing. We know that he’s going to throw away the mask in the end but it’s what Kylo is known for and he needs to clear up unfinished business first..hence the marketing as it is. It will be ok in the end.
