You’d be surprised. It seems you happen to be in that small percentage of genuine, kind people. It’s perhaps the only thing I don’t love about my career. What do you do? I mean, if you don’t mind me asking- if so feel free to ignore that.

Yes, it is your mistake. What value would your answer have if it was entirely based on mine? If you want to impress someone, make your opinions and stand by them.

My answer being based on yours? I guess I’m not entirely sure what you mean by that. As I said before, I’m looking for books to add to my collection. If you happen to have a favorite that I haven’t read, I do like reading recommendations. Anne Rice is a fantastic writer but she has many books as does Thomas Harris. Narrowing it down by inquiring about a possible favorite of yours isn’t any less impressive than ordering a random one from the collection.

- How would you describe your desired relationship?

A partnership. One where we can grow together, learn from one another, and enjoy each other to the fullest. Supporting one another through good and bad times. Finding balance together. D/s would be part of day to day life in some fashion.

- In addition to love and affection, what are your main reasons for wanting a relationship?

I feel that it’s the one area of my life that’s truly lacking. I feel fulfilled with my family and my career but finding a partner to share my life with would be incredible.

Assertiveness. Attractiveness of both the physical and intellectual kind. Eyes, nice eyes, I have a thing for them. Speaking voice.

- Let's say you and your partner have been invited to a friend's wedding. As you get ready for the party, which thoughts are you most likely to be thinking?

First and foremost I’d be thinking about my friend. I’d be hoping that their day would be beautiful and memorable and perfect for them. I’d just be happy to be part of that special moment and grateful that they wanted my partner to be there to share it with them. Secondly, I’d be worried about my appearance- that I’m dressed appropriately for the event. No one wants an eye sore in their photos.

- Why do you think you're single?

I know exactly why. My career. According to the Media I’m in a happy relationship but in reality I am very much as single as I’ve always been. I’m part of a business contract not a partnership. I’ve been too busy with going after my goals as an actress to have time to truly form a relationship. Sex is one thing but I’ve never really experienced emotions or strings being attached.

- If you find a book or article particularly interesting, do you want your partner to read it as well?

Only if they want to. I’ll probably tell them about it but if they aren’t interested then I wouldn’t expect them to read it.

- What do you think about cheating in a relationship?

Unacceptable.

- What do you want your partner to like about you?

I want them to like the me that the public doesn’t see before they like the me that’s won all the awards. I want them to like the girl with the books, who speaks three languages, and scrunches her nose at the mention of her full name, I want them to like the freckles that I often hide from the world, I want them to just like me.

- In BDSM, do you see yourself as a specific subtype (brat, sadist, pet, rigger...) or do you prefer exploration?

I prefer to explore but from the few encounters I’ve had and the many fantasies I do know I like pain. Probably a masochist? I also know I’m interested in someone taking control outside the bedroom.

- What draws your to your preferred BDSM role?

I have to constantly be in control of myself and my emotions day to day. I’m attracted to letting go and letting someone else take the reigns.

Especially with all the prejudice against people who are different. Can you say no? Like, if you found someone on this app, what would happen?

It is... but the public wants what the public wants and there are plenty of people in the industry more than willing to cash in on it. Saying no is career suicide in most cases. There’s a clause in my contract. I’m allowed relationships as long as they are kept quiet. The contract renews every half season unless I or he end up in a serious relationship. Or if the show gets canceled.

Yes, they do. For instance- did you follow that relationship between the two lead stars on that television show Glee? It was a PR stunt to cover up the fact that she was sleeping with one of the other actresses. Mine is simply to promote for the series I’m in, get more people excited about our on screen chemistry and invested far more than they should be.

Do you really believe in all that? The soulmates part, at least? Sounds like a common theme among everyone though. Everyone is busy, trying to wade through the pool is exhausting, and the secrecy is nice, no matter who you are.

I do! At least I want to believe in it. Do you? Plus, it’ll be a nice change from the current PR relationship I’m in. It’s a total nightmare.

Yes then. I’d say 60-80% would probably know it.

The safety, the secrecy, the soulmates, the bdsm... it’s all intriguing and made signing up a no brainer for me. I don’t have the time or energy to be out in the dating scene and I’m sure most people I’d pick up would end up being creeps. On this app it seems everyone is vetted to be here.

I suppose its a little bit of a cliche. Very uh– chick flick-y.

What do you paint? I’ve never been great at the fine arts but I do love them.

Oh, they’re not. I think you might have misunderstood. I meant the performances within the show itself. The performances on the Tony’s are very different from those at the other award shows. So many people are involved in the actual award show itself that nearly half of the audience or more is on stage at one point or another. I’ve been to most award shows and the Tony’s are my favorite to attend but really all talent is talent and I appreciate it as such.
