- How would you describe your desired relationship?
I’d like a relationship unlike any I’ve been in before. I mean, obviously those didn’t work out and I’m here for a reason. I’d like someone different-- someone who understands me ( or tries to understand ), someone who’s willing to allow me to understand them. I’d like a relationship where we can trust each other-- in due time, of course. And things are just peaceful. Serene.
- In addition to love and affection, what are your main reasons for wanting a relationship?
A partner, I think. Someone who is always there for me to talk to and come home to. And It’s kind of a milestone in life, isn’t it? It’s what almost every little girl wants when they’re growing up. And well-- I’m grown.
- What is most likely to make you interested in someone?
A person’s capacity to love and accept. Physical appearance, obviously. I won’t lie and say it isn’t a factor. Other than that? I’m not sure that I can just compile a list of things that would make me interested in someone-- I think I’d just like to feel connected to someone. There’s no discernible checklist beyond the obvious. I want to feel a spark, butterflies, all the things lovers talk about.
- Let’s say you and your partner have been invited to a friend’s wedding. As you get ready for the party, which thoughts are you most likely to be thinking?
First, I’d be thinking about my friend and their partner. I’d hope my friend doesn’t have any regrets. I’d think about how beautiful it is for them to have a ceremony in the first place-- the joining of two lives and all that. But honestly, it wouldn’t be long before I’d think about when maybe it’ll be my time. If I’m ready to take that next step with my partner, too.
- Why do you think you’re single?
I’m...not sure. Maybe it’s luck. Maybe..I don’t know, maybe the stars and planets just haven’t aligned yet. Maybe fate has something else in store for me. Maybe it has something to do with me? Maybe I’m just-- difficult to be with? I’d be lying if the thought didn’t cross my mind.
- If you find a book or article particularly interesting, do you want your partner to read it as well?
Ideally, yes. But so long as they let me freely ramble about it, I think I’d be content.
- What do you think about cheating in a relationship?
Ridiculous. It’s not something I can see myself forgiving or dealing with in any capacity.
- What do you want your partner to like about you?
I’d like to say everything. Ideally, it’d be everything. I mean, who wouldn’t want that, right? Perhaps most things-- the big things. I want the things that are important to my partner to be something they find in me and something they like in me. I’d want them to find the same solace in me that I find in them.
- In BDSM, do you see yourself as a specific subtype (brat, sadist, pet, rigger…) or do you prefer exploration?
Thus far, maybe rigger and a rope bunny? That’s just based on the most memorable scenes I’ve participated in before. I know for sure sadism doesn’t particularly call to me- and neither does masochism. Pet sounds nice and I’ve been looking into that. But now that I’m thinking about it all, I don’t believe I see myself as any specific subtype. Not yet, anyway. There’s plenty of exploration for me to do still.
- What draws your to your preferred BDSM role?
Simply put-- I get both. I get to trust and be trusted. I get to control and give up control, at leisure. I don’t feel...limited, necessarily. And that’s not to say those who exclusively identify as submissive or exclusively identify as dominant are limiting themselves. I just know I wouldn’t be able to survive without both. And maybe that’s a little dramatic, but it’s the truth.
