do you remember when the riots in america were happening, if you weren’t covering your social media in news about it you’d be dragged for filth and destroyed by your peers and strangers alike? i remember the amount of comments and asks people would receive “why aren’t you posting about this? how can you keep blogging like normal?” the public shaming for silence.
now it’s not america, the majority of people carry on like nothing is happening, feel content not to share posts and news and information. no one is asking you to stop using your blog as normal - but to also share what you see - to help keep your followers informed too and to show support.
and i’m asking you to look at yourself and consider if you’re doing enough, if you can do more. if you would do more if this was happening to your country, to your people.
this is genocide, please don’t be silent about genocide just because it’s in the middle east, just because arabs are dying. please.
