As Annabel lead Leda to the abandoned place she was staying at, to her suprise Leda was pretty amazed. Annabel’s fear was that Leda would think less of her and it would push her only friend right now away. 

“This...is nice. Could use some of those lights hung around. Some deep...DEEP cleaning. And uh..this place would be freaking amazing dude!” Leda expressed with a huge smile.

Anna smiled and thanked her.

On one of Annabel’s jogs, she passed a familiar face. Leda. 

Leda was surprisingly excited to meet up with Annabel again, to think of it, Leda was nothing but nice to Anna since she met her. Why not give it a shot and try and make a friend here. 

“So where are your digs lil chicka?” Leda looked around with a smile 

Pointing in the direction of where she was staying, “Uh- a couple blocks this way..you could come check it out if you’d like?” 

Leda just about jumped at her, pulling her in the way she pointed “Uh hells yeah! I bet you have like some vintage furniture with that old smell, but like the good smell, you feel? OH! I bet your like a super clean freak, but have weird obsessions like collecting pictures of rocks or something” Leda kept rambling as Annabel laughed, leading Leda towards her empty place, hoping she wouldn’t disappoint.

To think of it, Annabel was getting used to the city food.

The next couple days fell repetitive, Annabel didn’t seem to mind though. It kept her mind busy. Though she couldn’t help but think why Christopher wasn’t answering his texts or phone calls. If it wasn’t going to turn into anything, it was nice having a friend at least.

Later into the night, Annabel had expressed her feelings and the two talked for hours on end. Any uneasy feelings she had were no longer current and the two even exchanged a few flirty comments to one another.

Two to three in the morning, one of the employees had told them that the restaurant was closing.

“I really hope to spend more time with you Bell, you bring a lot of joy in my life.”

Annabel embraced Christopher, “Thank you for such a relaxed night, i’ll see you later.”

And with that the two separated ways.

After dinner was done and paid for, Christopher took her up to the balcony. It was beautiful and quiet. Though it was obvious Annabel was exhausted.

After a long yawn, Annabel apologized,”I’m so sorry, I don’t mean to keep yawning”

Christopher expressed his concern, placing his hand on her shoulder, ”You’ve not been treating your body correctly, you need more sleep, love.”

“I know..It’s been hard sleeping somewhere so far from home. I just have a lot of stress too..” Annabel confessed

“You know if you ever need somewhere you feel safe, you can stay at my place. I’m sure that rundown factory gets unwelcoming alone in the night.”

Couple minutes later,“Thought you may have left me” Annabel half joked.

“I would never, I apologize. The men’s restroom was quite full” Christopher gave a reassured smile, sipping his barley bale.

While Annabel ate, the two had nice conversation. Though the million dollar question finally surfaced, “If you dont mind me asking of course, why didn’t you order any food?”

With narrowed brows as if in thought, Christopher finally spoke “I wanted to treat you to a special dinner. And my diet is very organic, unfortunately not a lot of restaurants serve. I apologize if I have offended you?”

A bit unsure and shocked, “Of course not, I do appreciate that you brought me here. Maybe next time we can do something that better suits you” Annabel smiled.

Once the waiter came, Christopher only had ordered a drink. Unsure, Annabel ordered food. And not too soon after, Christopher excused himself to the restroom.

Things didn’t feel all too well

Finally at the restaurant, Christopher, the gentlemen he was reserved a quiet and cozy spot.

Once arrived, Christopher escorted Annabel in the restaurant, “Thank you for accepting my invitation. I have been enjoying your presence.”

With a soft smile, “Of course, you’ve been super helpful with everything. It’s the least I could do.”

And with that, they both were seated.

The unexpected text was from none other than Mr. Matthews asking Annabel on a date. Annabel wasn’t worried about the fact she was going on a date, just something felt strange with the way she felt towards him almost a connection pulling her in an unwanted way.

“That was so freaking cool dude!” A younger girl ran up to Annabel , praising her on the fist fight she had with some random stranger.

An embarrassed Annabel, “Thank you? Im not a very violent person like that..”

“Are you CRAZY? That was the coolest things Ive ever seen. That guy harasses people all the time! Then a new girl comes to town and put him on his ass! GIRL you have got to teach me to be all badass!”

Annabel laughed and the tow actually had a nice conversation and swapped phone numbers. Her name was Leda and Annabel didn’t expect to hear from her again but she put her contact information on her cellphone and continued to have a relaxed and genuine conversation until she had an unexpected text message.

When Annabel doesn't know how to express her feelings, she always finds her self fighting with the nearest person. Lets just say a few punches were thrown.

“Rivera is one of the most evil people from what I’ve heard, people say she tortures people in her basement with the help of her lover, Clyde Puckett. Though personally, I think its a load of bull.But she does treat people badly, she is very feared throughout Forgotten Hallow all out to Magnolia.” Zachary shrugged looking down at his watch “Crap, I actually gotta run. Should have clocked in about fifteen minutes ago, I’ll see you around?”

Annabel in shock, shook her head “Yeah..thanks for explaining things to me..”

And like that, Annabel was left with a million different thoughts running through her mind. Why would someone like Rivera drag her out to a museum on history about Vlad and a town she only visited once? Things weren’t adding up correctly, or she was missing something.

“I actually am on my break, I like coming to the museum and studying the history of different places. Though Forgotten Hallow..it’s known to be the home to many demon like creatures that many people just turn their cheek to. You don't know this woman you brought you here?”

“Actually I just met her at a bar, I don't even know how she got my number to call me”, Annabel explained

Zachary rubbed his chin, “Hmm. that's really strange. I mean, people can just be nice. I would keep your distance Bell, especially being so knew to the city. Of course that is your decision.”

“Thank you.. you don't know anything else on this place? The girl who brought me kind of just left out of the blue after we talked about Vladislaus.”

“Vladislaus? He’s the mayor of Forgotten Hallow. Though Forgotten Hallow is the only town around here that has different branches of rules that people follow. Its more like an evil and good sort of deal.”

“Like multiple mayors?” Annabel asked

“I guess, I only know of Rivera Hayes and Devin Prosper who work for Vladislaus. Besides that everything else is secret.”

With that, it left Annabel speechless,all she could get out was who brought her to this place “Rivera?”
