It was hard for her to tell if he was enjoying the cuddles and occasional nuzzles and kisses while watching television. Eventually Urianger got fed up and left to read ‘in peace’ which was code words for ‘I’m looking up your boyfriend’. Not that she told him anything more than his first name. Good fucking luck, asshat.

Eventually she slipped away from Nero and grabbed the cheesecake out of the fridge with two forks for both of them. With a content grin she plopped back down next to him and snuggled up to him, cheesecake nicely seated in her lap. “Want some?”

Oh, he was enjoying himself, definitely. This was very...different. Honestly, he wasn't even paying attention to whatever show they were watching -- he was distracted by the warm, living body cuddled up to him, her occasional kisses and nuzzles, and the sensation of his arm draped over her shoulders. He didn't do this, never did this, and now he was. And he was finding he liked it...a lot.

He blinked up at her when she got up, pouting vaguely as he turned to watch her wander into their kitchen. She came back with a very yummy looking cheesecake, and even though he probably shouldn't be eating normal food, he took the other fork happily enough, putting his arm back around her. "Why not?" God, he was easy to please today.

"Alrighty then." She grabbed one of the lighter blankets he had and led him hand-in-hand to the living room, pulling him on to the couch with her and wrapping both of them with the blanket. She resisted the urge to give Urianger the bird from his spot in the kitchen where he was sipping tea and glaring at the two of them.

Instead she turned on the TV to Hell’s Kitchen and snuggled up to her really official boyfriend. Wow. How fucked up is that. She better find out his last name before she gets asked… But not when Urianger is in the room. So instead she snuggled up to Nero and kissed his cheek, ready to enjoy the day.

He let himself be dragged off to the couch, shooting her dad his most winning, assholish grin as he passed. He probably shouldn't have done that, but he really couldn't resist. Man looked so damn...put out, sitting there glaring over the rim of his teacup. It was hilarious, and he enjoyed messing with him.

Though he was once again immediately thrown off by the blanket-cuddling. This was weird, damned weird. He didn't do boyfriend, he did one-night stand or otherwise sex-based relationship. But now apparently he was...boyfriend. And sitting curled up on the bloody couch watching bloody TV. He let out a quiet sigh, resting his head on hers, determined to enjoy himself instead of dwelling on how intensely strange this was. Yes. Enjoy the moment, for once.

There was certain some arguing going back and forth. Brought home a guy, claimed to be dating said guy, purposely not telling father about said guy. Lies on top of more lies. Typical relationship between them now. Beautiful father daughter relationship. The only honest thing she said was when he asked if Nero knew about the Slayer business (not actually saying Slayer but…) which of course he doesn’t.

With a huff she returned to her room and handed him his shirt. “Sorry about that. We can just stay in here or go in the living room for the day. Living room has television and video games.”

He had walked to the top of the stairs to eavesdrop, frowning slightly at the dialogue but not questioning it. Hey, she had secrets. And he was a vampire. It evened out. She wouldn't pry about him if he didn't either. He did feel a little sorry for her, though...if that was her father, then damn. Fun times.

He heard her coming back upstairs and made a break for it back to her room, managing to sit on the bed innocently by the time she was back, taking his shirt back and pulling it on as she spoke. And when his head appeared out of the collar, he stared at her blankly again. "...Living room," he said automatically, a bit surprised still at the offer. "Don't do that often, either. Let's make a day of it, love."

It was a few minutes after he had fallen asleep she followed suit. It had been awhile since she had someone as well so it was a nice feeling to have again… It was only a few minutes, or it felt like it, when she woke up to a nice scream. Her dad was home… And oh shit Nero’s shirt.

She groaned and sat up, rubbing her eyes with an annoyed huff. “Damn that man. Always with the fits.” She got up and headed down to accept her fate… And tell him to piss off more and likely.

He moaned quietly when he felt the warmth get up and go away, rolling over and grasping absently at the air. "Nnngh," he mumbled. "...'istoria?" With that said, though, he woke up the rest of the way, blinking sleep out of his eyes at the sudden realization that he'd fallen asleep with her. Cuddling. No sex. Weird.

The next thing he realized -- glancing at the window of her room, which was blessedly covered -- was that it was daytime. And so he was stuck. How the hell was he going to explain that one. He was usually gone by this time...bloody hell, this was going to be interesting. Shhhhit. Well, he'd just have to wait for her in the meantime, he supposed...

She smiled at him and ran her finger through his hair with a hum. “Warmth for one. It always feels nice to be close with someone you trust and care about. A sense of comfort and belonging.” For not knowing about cuddling he definitely seems very enthusiastic about it.

She stifled the tiniest of yawns before kissing the crown of his head. “Plus, sharing a bed is always nice. Floors can be so very uncomfortable. Even when you aren’t on a bed it still makes it feel nice.”

"Mm...warmth. I like that." It was kind of a lame answer, but it was the only one he had. The other words she tossed out; trust, comfort, belonging...those had no place in his bedroom or his life. He was a fuck 'em and leave 'em kind of guy on his good days, and on the other days he killed them or turned them. He just...didn't do the whole romantic thing. He was a vampire -- blood, sex, and violence. Not mushy bloody Twilight bullshit.

And yet...here he was, letting her put her arms around him and kiss his forehead in the most chaste gesture he'd been given in centuries. And he'd only known her for what, two nights? Boy, this was either going way too fast or way too slow. He wasn't sure which it was, and weirder still, he wasn't sure that he didn't like it. And that train of thought continued until he fell asleep with the steady thump-thump of her heartbeat echoing softly in his ears.

And as she said she would she did kiss him again before nuzzling him under his chin. Hunh. So that’s a nice tidbit to know. Seems like they are getting closer and closer. “You’re missing out on some very important times when you’re in a relationship then. Cuddles can be one of the best times for both people.”

Speaking of relationship… Fake date turns into friend with benefits to…. What even are they? They’re not sleeping together and they aren’t dating. Are they? So confusing. “If anyone finds out about this just say you’re my boyfriend.” Whether that is true or not only time will tell.

"Oh?" He asked, rolling slightly over so she couldn't put her head on his chest (lack of heartbeat = not a good idea to let her hear that) and put his on hers instead. "Well, never done it before. You'll have to enlighten me on all the perks of this mysterious cuddling phenomenon, mm? And don't worry; I'm a fast learner."

He let out a quiet exhale, leaning up to kiss her before resting his head on her chest again, closing his eyes to listen to the steady beat of her heart. Her comment made him pause, and he glanced up. "Boyfriend?" He repeated in surprise, before grinning slightly. "Will do." So was he, then. Hm. And she was his girlfriend, in that case...he liked that. His.

She laid down with him, snuggling up to him with a grin and kissing his cheek. Her expression was very smug and she had to keep from laughing. How very typical of someone like him. “Not tonight, sorry love. I’m not exactly that easy. If you’re not up for kissing and cuddles you can still leave.”

With that she pulled her comforter up and got comfy, allowing him to leave like she said he could. She batted her eyelashes and watched him like a hawk, waiting for his reaction. She wasn’t kicking him out just denying the expected.

He had to take a moment, unable to catch the initial blank surprise on his face but managing to cover it up. While yes, he was certainly disappointed that he wasn't getting any tonight (though part of him did kind of approve the fact he was going to have to work a bit at it), but....cuddling...?? That was...not something he tended to do. Like, ever. Things that went on in his bed were never that G-rated, not as far back as he could remember, and he basically remembered all the way back to the Roman Empire.

"I..." He began, frowning slightly; mainly out of bemusement. Then he shrugged, slinging an arm casually around her. Never too late to try something new when you're gonna live forever, right? And hey, she did say kissing. He can live with kissing. "I'll stick around, no worries, love. Not that often I get this kind of action, after all." Which would make this new and exciting and different. Fun!

She took his hand and led him up the stairs, past the adjoined kitchen and living room and down a hallway. She let him go and pointed to the room with the door open. “There. You can go wait while I,” she pointed to the bathroom across the hall, “clean up. Don’t break anything.”

With that she left him to his own devices as she cleaned the blood off her face. The bruises will be gone in the morning or by the afternoon so she had nothing to worry about. Sure, he probably expected sex but… Nah. She isn’t that easy and honestly she really is a bit tired. Steamy kissing and cuddles is what she wanted and he’s just going to have to deal with it. That was her final thought when she walked into her room.

He followed her finger and headed into the bedroom, kicking his boots off casually and hopping backwards onto the bed, putting his arms behind his head and crossing his feet at the ankles. He wasn't sure what he was to expect when his girl arrived in the room, but he certainly knew what he was hoping for. Hell, a good brawl always made him a little frisky. And he hadn't had a good brawl in a while.

He grinned up at her from his spot when she entered, lifting a hand from under his head and waggling his fingers. "Hey there," he said with a grin. "Nice room." He actually hadn't looked too closely, but he figured it was one of those things you just Said. And having said it, he watched her expectantly, waiting for her next move. (The fact that he'd called her 'his girl' finally registered, and though he was bemused, he didn't let it show on his face. Well, that was fast. It was nice to feel selfish again.)

A roll of her eyes and her arms around his waist was her reply. “Well, let’s see here… I worked all day, dealt with everything Urianger didn’t want to deal with, you came in and kicked my ass, and I didn’t get much sleep last night. My bed is lookin’ awfully comfy right now after I clean up.”

"I’m not against you joining me if you want." She gave him a small peck on the lips again before letting go and heading upstairs. She turned around once more and smiled. "Just don’t take too long or I might retract that invitation."

He grinned down at her, putting his own arms around her and chuckling almost deviously. "Oh, is it?" He asked, voice low. "Well, then, that sounds like a plan." The night just kept getting better and better, didn't it? A standing invitation to her living quarters -- which, of course, he needed in the first place and given without him having to ask -- and on top of that an invitation to her bed. Hell yes.

"Don't worry, I'm right behind you," he added as she departed, following her right up the stairs. Definitely not going to give her time to change her mind, as that would effectively ban him from her home, and he'd have a time explaining that one if he wanted to keep cover. Once they were both upstairs, he slipped around her, facing her in the hall with a grin. "Now-- where's this comfy bed of yours, then?"

Once again she should have expected that from him. Not that the kiss wasn't welcomed. Somehow her hand found its way to the back of his neck during it and pulled him close, deepening the kiss. When he pulled away she made an obvious sound of dislike.

"You're an ass, y'know that? Bloody git." She mumbled the last part to herself and crossed her arms in a pout. "So, what now? You going to leave now that you kicked my ass? I'll admit that much but this is not over, Nero. Not by a long shot." Yes I do. We should do this more. Why the hell not.

Mm, another taste of her blood and the kiss returned? He wasn't complaining. Though he was beginning to wonder just who this girl was, her blood tasting like it did. It wasn't that big of a deal, though; he might just be imagining it -- she was just a human, after all, either way.

"Oh, I know," he replied with a smirk. "You like it, though." He could tell. Or at least, he was hoping he was right. Her question made him pause -- what now indeed? -- before he shrugged casually, showing no sign that he didn't actually have any idea what now. "Well, I'm not sure. I suppose it depends on whether or not you're tired of my company, mm?" He replied, grinning and winking at her for good measure.

Apologies for my unexpected disappearance the past, uh...weekend. My mom and I moved! We are now in a much nicer apartment than our grody townhouse (and better yet, ONE STORY. I DON'T HAVE TO TRUDGE DOWNSTAIRS FOR FOOD!!!) As such, we had to shut the internet at our old house off, and our new house has yet to get internet turned on. Ergo, my vanishing act.

In fact, I am actually using my phone's mobile hotspot function right now. :| Since we won't be getting internet and cable til Thursday.

That means I'll probably be sporadic this week, in between getting the rest of my stuff over to the new house and since I will be relying on my phone to get internet.

But I love all y'all and I am so glad to be back. ;u;

The head butt did stun her enough for him to flip her with ease. She winced when her back hit the mat and the breath she had escaped. He was stronger and that wasn't good. But she wasn't going to lose. She staggered ever so slightly when getting up, lightly wiping a small trickle of blood from her nose.

"I see." And she did. She was his toy now. She was going to have to do what she did best now. Survive and miraculously turn it around. She faced him again and just barely dodged him launching himself at her. It went only like that, block or dodge and back off until she formed a plan. Shame she hit a wall. Literally.

"Shit....."

Oh, this was fun. He had her completely on the defensive now, all she could do was run as he made his lunges, deliberately backing her towards the wall. He was grinning the whole time, too, trying to keep from outright laughing. This was too great. Finally she hit the wall, cursing under her breath, and he just kept approaching. Mm...right where he wanted her.

However, he wasn't stupid, and the fight had put him in the mood for a different kind of fun. No killing his toy in her own damn house. Instead, he stopped inches away from her, pressing a hand against the wall to either side, trapping her between them, and leaning in close. "You're a tough one, love," he purred quietly, millimeters from her face. "I like that in a girl."

That said, he pressed his lips to hers in a kiss, surreptitiously tasting some of the blood that had dripped down to her mouth, savoring the sweetness again while he could. He held the kiss a long few moments before breaking it, grin turning (mock) friendly and stepping away, arms crossed and head cocked to the side. "We'll have to do this again sometime; I sure as hell enjoyed myself. You?"

Whatever reasoning she had for holding back was gone. She was the damn Slayer for fuck's sake and her pride would not allow her to get her ass kicked by some guy who just wanted to get up her skirt a few days ago when she asked him to pretend to be her date and then became it.

She grabbed his hand with a feral sounding growl and directed it under her arm to the side to allow her to slide her hand up a bit to his wrist. She slid behind him gripping his shoulder with her free hand. With a twist his wrist and rest of his arm circled in the exact opposite degree it was made to go in. She tugged his arm towards her as she pushed his shoulder and the rest of his body away at the same time. "I've been doing shit like this since I was in single digits, you?"

He let out a surprised gasp of -- not pain, because it didn't hurt, per say, but discomfort, when she jerked his arm back, but it quickly turned into a snarl (trying hard to keep the vampire out of the noise), and he threw all semblance out of control out the window. She was good; she was actually making him sting. She could handle him, and he wasn't going to lose this badly to a little girl.

He jerked back sharply, bringing the back of his head backwards to connect hard to hers, before reaching back with his free arm and grabbing the back of her shirt collar, leaning forwards to half-roll, half-yank her over his back, throwing her to the mat. "Since before you were born, love," he said under his breath, grin widening. "Likely the same answer," he added aloud for her benefit, launching himself at her again. Oh, but this was good.

She managed to fuck one kick but not the other. Bringing her arms up just in time to soften the impact but it did knock her on the ground. That actually hurt. What the fuck. She looked up and gave him the nastiest look she could muster.

"I don't think the sound of your bones would sound very musical to you." With that she got right back up, as if nothing happened, and got back into position. "It'll take more than that to keep me down."

"Oh, I was hoping you'd say that," he crowed to himself, bouncing back on his heels with the predatory grin still on his face. "You'd be surprised at what I find sounds pretty, love." The sound of his leg hitting her arms, for one, and the sound of her hitting the floor, for two. For three, the look on her face and the way she just sprang right back up, like he could hit her and she could take it...ooh, did he want to let loose.

"Now -- round three, then?" He said, rushing her again; only this time, he adjusted himself to the left slightly, moving around to her back to grab her arm and spin her, taking her into a twirl like in a dance before shoving her roughly back with a palm to her collarbones, following after her with another strike to her stomach -- and maybe starting to hold back another fraction less.
