I got my yoimiya while high as shit and thought i lost my 50/50 to amber because i was high as shit so i made an evil shrine where i crucified a baron bunny i crocheted and the next day i realized i got yoimiya so i buried baron bunny's ashes and have felt guilty ever since because i dont even hate amber yoimiya is just my favorite character and baron bunny did not deserve that

when i was a young’n i played the hit game hatsune miku colorful stage and in that game 4 stars are the most rare (so 4 stars are 5 stars). so when i first got genshin, i got 2 four stars on my first pull (iirc it was like bennet and xingqiu) and i posted it online with the caption of something like “omg guys im so lucky hahahahaa i got 2 four stars omg !!!!! this is crazy whats the chancess !!” and someoen gave the chances (obv the chances are not that low) and i was like “damn genshin easy why is getting four stars so common this game must be boring ash if i csn jsut get all the powerful units that easy like a four star every pull ?? so i quit for 2 years and came back like a year ago but im so ashamed because people were clowning me online because of my positng about “how lucky i was”

i've been asked previously to not tag ship posts. specifically it was to not tag anti-ship posts with said ship tag, which is valid tbh.

to me, it doesn't make much of a difference whether smth is ship or anti-ship, but i am Old and can easily ignore those things, although i understand your frustration.

i think i can find a middle ground and tag ship posts with "shipping" if that makes it easier for you.

I haven't played the summer event even halfway because it's so boring. I did the story part of it, but all it did was to put me off from pulling for Sandrone, because where's the bratty robot I loved? What's this moe slop? Why can't Genshin have anything else these days?

Shipping can be for a lot of things and sometimes that thing is just because you like looking at two characters, simple as. Yeah you can ship because of seeing a real potential for a relationship, or because they have interesting connections and contrasts, but there’s nothing wrong with shoving two Ken dolls together because you think it’s attractive to see two hot people together. You don’t need a reason to ship anything, because it’s all fake.

Look I'm usually a big defender of female character's designs because idc about "fanservice" and to me they're usually just pretty ladies with pretty clothes so I was fine as long as they looked good cause to me it wasn't that much of a problem and the male characters don't look that better.

But Ronova's human form is the worst character design in the whole game and its not even close.

Her design its what people were claiming Columbina, Sandrone, Mavuika and other's were but actually true and multiplied by 10.

I don't care that she has a moe face or a sexualized outfit, its how so many clashing elements are combined and it looks a mess. They wanted her to look badass and menancing so they gave her that mature-looking dark ethereal dress, but also wanted her to be cute so they made her have a standard moe face with giant fucking eyes so they reach nothing and she looks like a weird bug.

I think the detail I hate the most are these performative giant hair vents. I know they're a common anime trope but this looks so out of place cause no other character has them, at least not THAT big, it looks so forced there.

She looks like some teen bought a "how to draw anime" book and used it to design their OC inspired by death note, its crazy how much I hate this design.

Why did they make him so basic, he looks like the default state your character has in an online RPG before you unlock the hability to customize.

zhongchi is so popular because in 1.0 they were the only tall men that knew each other and weren't related in at least 1 language. that's literally it that's all there is to it. mandatory regional yaoi x1000 because it's mandatory game yaoi basically. as to why they're STILL so popular well most people aren't just going to abandon their favorite ship after 6 years just because there's newer options with (slightly...) more substance now
