He locked eyes with her for a second, but dropped his gaze a second later in his usual nervousness. The hint of her smile did ease something tight in his chest, but he ignored it. No, he couldn’t do that. He could listen to her, if she wanted. But it would take a lot more than this for him to open up. Henry would pretend he was fine for as long as he could.
“It’s fine. I’m fine, you know?” Henry shrugged and tried a smile himself. “I think…sometimes people need a professional. Uh, someone…a stranger. Easier to talk to, or so ‘they’ say.” Another shrug. “Same to you, though, alright? I’m um…always good for listening.”
eileen simply focused her concentration in his brief words, the countenance of reassurance remained attempting to ENCOURAGE him to speak. sometimes the brunette believed that her presence was a burden for him due to former occurrence, does she conceive a disagreeable reminiscence for him ? does he concept herself in her disabled figure ? those questions were unanswerable. the other reason was irrelevant, yet it bothered her, does he briefly speak because he doesn’t appreciate her?
