( ANIMAL FAMILIAR QUIZ! )
                              ~ Red Panda ~
Despite its name, the Red Panda is not related to the more commonly known Giant Panda. These beautiful furred animals are mostly known for their red, raccoon-like patterns. Though they are adaptable, their environment is threatened constantly by human activities. Just like that, you are a very creative and unique individual, who is a quick learner and picks up on things rather quickly. However, you may be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, in fear that the community or people around you could tear your ideas away.    A Red Panda familiar inspires their master with creative thoughts and tries to ward off chaos in the environment around them.                                ~~***~~
This familiar represents: - Creativity - Quick learners - Adaptability - Shyness - Reluctance of others - Artistic/Poetic individuals

a lot of my threads are over two months old so i think i should make one of these??? like for a starter theyâll most likely be short, and theyâll come sometime this week. capping at three but leaving it uncapped for anyone whoâs already interacted with her and wants another thread.

âEhhhhh?â His expression was practically theatrical at this point, but he was just so surprised! âReally? I guess I can understand, it seemed like you put in a lot of effort in this- more than the usual!â
âAh... is it really that obvious?â Her lips pulled down into a tiny frown as she stared at the music sheets held between them. There had been something about the song that she didnât like, but she hadnât been able to put her finger on it until now. âIt does seem a little forced, doesnât it...?â She sighed, feeling a little defeated, and while she didnât want to stop trying she knew it wouldnât get better if she didnât take a break. âShinomiya-san will you go on a walk with me? I donât think I can keep working on this if I donât clear my head.â
pyrolysiis:
Lost and wandering around in a dark alley? How typical! He wouldâve laughed if it wasnât for the fact that he didnât find any humor in the situation at all. The poor girl was scared and possibly looking for a way back to wherever she came from. Any kind person wouldâve guided her out of there; any decent human being would have told her to turn tail and walk on lighted sidewalks instead.
And Dabi ⊠well, he was neither. Unfortunately.
â You say youâre lost? â he repeated, chuckling a little. Now isnât this just wonderful! He was starting to get a little bored just bumming around the alley with nothing to do, no one to toy with. This lost lamb came just in time. â What? Did you think you can just cut into this alley and find your way back home? â
It was dark; he couldnât see the fear in her eyes, but he heard it in her voice. It was dark; she couldnât see the mischievous glint in his eyes.
â Oh no, youâve just found your way into trouble. â
An involuntary shiver ran down her spine at the sound of his voice. She lifted her eyes from the ground in front of her to meet his, and felt herself freeze completely. As strong as sheâd been trying to make herself seem since arriving to Koi, his words coupled with his sneer were enough to remind her that she hadnât grown by much. Deep in her heart she was praying for someone to come help her because she knew she wouldnât be able to do anything on her own. Hell, she could hardly navigate the city on her own. If he was determined to give her trouble, then there was nothing she could do.
âPlease,â her voice shook, âIâm just trying to get home. I-If I donât get home soon, my roommate will be worried and will come look for me.â It was a lie. She lived on her own and there would be no one looking for her, but he didnât have to know that. She just hoped her words were believable enough for him to let her go.
In a last ditch effort, she dipped her head and made a move to keep walking past him. âI donât want any trouble, so please excuse me.â

â â  â â  â Finding peace among the hustle and bustle of the Academy was difficult in the very least: chatting pupils, vocal training, general loud beings⊠Often did it puzzle oneâs mind and clutter thoughts and thus, from time to time, seeking silence and peace was absolutely necessary. Against the bowing trunk of an aged willow tree did the redhead sit, eyes closed, focus upon his breathing as he settled; calming, easing into utter relaxation for a time. Softly did he hum, fingers twisting the end of one of his braids around the middle of a finger;Yes, that was far better; silence and fresh air- it reminded him much of home. âYou have come to seek some quiet too, yes?â He thus uttered, finally opening his eyes. With a turn of his head did he address his sudden company, a gentle smile upon lips.  Â
She had spent the entire day holed up in her dorm room, trying to come up with a hook to the song sheâd been composing as an assignment. She had been there when Tomo-chan had left that morning; she had been there when Tomo-chan had returned during her lunch break; she had been there when Tomo-chanâs classes had come to an end. So frustrated seeing her roommate in the same spot for the last eight hours, Tomochika slammed Harukaâs notebook closed and kicked her out. âGet some fresh air at least!â
So thatâs what she was doing. Getting some fresh air.Â
It was his gentle humming that caught her attention and drew her to where he was relaxing. Rather than interrupt, she did her best to remain as quiet and as still as possible. His melody was carried by the soft breeze and she felt enveloped by it. She was a little taken aback when he addressed her directly. âAh, actually,â she laughed quietly to herself, âI was kicked out to get some fresh air.â

With minimal light, his eyes picked up movement down the alley. Another scum of the street, maybe, but he still kept watch of them ⊠just in case. Their footsteps echoed, sounding closer and closer with each tell-tale tap against the concrete path. Maybe someone out looking for a fight, maybe someone looking to exert power in what private âterritoryâ he settled himself on.
â Thatâs far enough, â Dabi addressed them, his eyes not once straying from staring a hole down into the concrete. He pushed himself off from the wall he leaned on before looking at them right then. To his surprise, it wasnât another back-alley rat. While he was a villain, he wouldnât attack without good reason for it.
So instead of his usual plan of intimidation, he tilted his head back and stared the girl down. He asked, â Out of place, arenât you? â
How typical. Sheâd gotten cocky and had left her map at home, so of course now she was completely and utterly lost. It had been okay earlier, but the sun had set so quickly sheâd hardly had a chance to appreciate the golden light it cast over the city. She had no idea where she was, and she thought maybe, just maybe, if she went down this alley she would end up somewhere familiar.Â
She saw a figure cloaked by the shadows the surrounding buildings cast, but she figured if she kept to herself then it wouldnât matter. All she had to do was keep her eyes forward and keep walking right on past-- she stumbled to a stop. âHuh? I-- I-- sorry. Iâm lost.â
Skittishness and nervousness won out and she found herself unable to lift her eyes to meet his. She had no reason to fear him other than the fact that heâd been lurking in a darkened alley after sundown. She felt at a loss for words, unable to ask for permission to pass through without trouble. Instead, her mouth fell agape and closed as she attempted to spit something out.Â

â Â @gentlycomposed liked for a starter.
AhâŠ. this was bad. Crowley was getting hungry. It didnât help any that this city was teeming with livestock, it was taking a lot of willpower on his part to not sink his teeth into human flesh and drink them into a husk to sate himself. He would be patient however. Going against plans this early upon arriving would be too idiotic, even for someone like him who caved to the sight of blood. Plus he disliked drinking directly, even if he was a vampire since he found it somewhat perverse, but if only left with that option, he wouldnât complain so much.Â
The sun was setting and the options weighed in Crowleyâs mind. He could find a nobody to the rest of the livestock to hold him over until heâs able to freely eat, or simply keep himself under controlâŠ.. maybe he should find a human to toy with to distract himself.
As he came up to a crosswalk on the way to the building he holed up in, there was a girl who looked hopelessly lost. No, she looked so frail that a simple push could break her whole body. Still, something about her reminded him of both of his attendants back home, Chess and Horn, in one person. He missed them pampering him by braiding his hair. Maybe he should distract himself with her after all.Â
He approached her with his placid smile ever on his face.Â
â You wouldnât happen to know where the Cappuccino Apartments would be, would you? Iâm new, so it tends to be hard to find places around here.â
That morning when sheâd gone to check on the mama cat and the kittens sheâd been taking care of, sheâd realized one of them was missing. The mama cat had seemed just as distressed as Haruka felt, but the farthest she ventured was the end of the alley where they lived. Feeling like this was something she had to do, Haruka took it upon herself to go out and find the missing kitten before anything bad could happen.Â
After having run back up to the apartment and grabbing her purse, the composer set off on her mission at around noon... she hadnât expected it to take literally all day. By the time sheâd located the missing kitten and was headed back to the alley, the sun was setting and she was covered in all sorts of bloodied scratches. If anything, this kitten was definitely as feisty as it was adventurous.Â
As luck would have it, she had already memorized the way back to Chamomile Apartments; Cappuccino Apartments, however, was a completely different matter.Â
âNot exactly,â she admitted as she attempted to the calm the kitten that was trying to crawl up her arm, âbut I have a vague idea of where they are! Iâm sure we can make it there together!â
Mama cat probably missed her baby, but now that Haruka knew the kitten was safe she didnât feel too worried about it. The older cat seemed to trust her completely at this point, so she felt confident that the mother would be fine as long as Haruka came home with the kitten in the end.

âWooooow!â Natsuki chimed, âThis song you wrote is amazing like always!â His eyes sparkled staring over the lyrics, he couldnât wait to sing it!
Her face flushed slightly at the compliment. âThank you, Shinomiya-san!â She laughed a little and tucked a lock of hair behind her hear. âIf Iâm honest, it was a little harder to write than I would have liked.â
The mama cat and kittens Haruka had been looking after from afar seemed to be doing well. The weather was bound to start warming up, and while that would be a lot better for them than the cold, the composer couldnât help but worry about the fleas that would without a doubt find their way into their furs. Already they all seemed to scratching more than usual.Â
Determined to help them the best she could, sheâd purchased some shampoo that would hopefully help. Sheâd filled a tub with warm water and struggled down to the alley where they swarmed her as soon as she called out to them.Â
âOkay Miss Mama Kitty and babies, itâs bath time,â she set the tub on the ground and rolled up her sleeves. âPlease cooperate and itâll be over quickly.â
There was no questioning that sheâd be covered in scratches once she was done.
