A small selection of photos from a shoot in Paris for Elleme, a women’s clothing and accessories company. Together we chose the locations, and went to the colourful Rue Cremieux (worth visiting!), and then went towards the bank of the Seine.

Went for a shoot in Paris with Emeric, from First Model Management (a London based agency, however at this time Emeric still lived in Paris). At the time of day we went, the light was still strong, so we played around with shadows and harsh contrast to get some interesting results, as well as a few more standard portraits.

I shot with this couple in Paris who contacted me for some photos to update their portfolios. We walked around Paris, starting at St-Sulpice and then wandered around the Mabillon and St-German des Prés area, taking pictures along the way.

This shoot took place in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, in a housing development area called La Dalle des Olympiades. We shot with model Melisange, and as well as this took some pictures of the unique and harsh looking architecture. 

Compared to much of Paris, La Dalle des Olympiades provides a stark contrast. Built in the 1970s, it was part of the city council’s plans to provide a solution to housing problems in the city by providing almost skyscraper-like buildings that could house many more people in every building than more traditional solutions. However, like many projects of this nature, the plans were better than the execution, and the area fell into a bad state as the city of Paris neglected it after it did not receive positive criticism from the public.

On a relatively warm evening, Zouz and I went for a walk along the Seine to enjoy the sun. Walking along the Seine from near Gare D’Austerlitz back east towards the 5ème arrondissement doesn’t take too long, and has some great locations along the way, one of the highlights being the view of Notre Dame de Paris cathedral.

Some photos from a fun shoot with these models who were visiting Paris from the US, and stopped by Paris for a few days. Contacted by their agent Jena, the shoot was organised on a whim, but by going to a visually unique location at night to get some captivating visuals, we were happy with the results.

A warm evening in Paris spent skating on our penny boards along the Seine towards the Eiffel Tower, just as summer was arriving.
