Also can I just say that The Black Parade is so timeless - look at what other bands were doing around that time and you can *definitely* tell it was 2006, but the whole persona of the album is so timeless. The context only really hits me when I see pictures of them with fans and the fans make it obvious that it’s 2006. The videos look like they could have been filmed yesterday. They said that they wanted to make something timeless and they succeeded.

i honestly think the whole mcr thing is going to be a vinyl of the unreleased songs from the black parade as they said that it was nearly a double album

okay so i poked around in the source code of the MCR website and i can say with pretty much 100% certainty it’s just a 10 year anniversary re-release of black parade

they have a pre-release button and sections entitled “vinyl release” that are hidden in the code
