Words taken directly from the Conservative manifesto. They have blatantly lied to their voters within the first 24 hours of Cameron's 2nd term as Prime Minister. The Conservatives promised to tackle the issue of disability unemployment and already they are contributing to the problem. Just a sign of things to come in the next 5 years

What a Gauke Up

Conservative Financial Secretary to the Treasury, David Gauke appeared on the Daily Politics show this morning and was more than proud of the list of 5,000 entrepreneurs who supported a Conservative led Government after May 7th. This looks very impressive and Gauke would have every right to be chuffed about this.......well that is if the list was completely bulletproof and there was no dirty fingerprints all over it and I did hope that was the case. However, this list is littered with errors and out and out lies and can be summed up in 2 words : Tory Propaganda. The first thing that stands out is that 6 names on this list are actually candidates for the Conservative party, including Ben Manton, the candidate for South Belfast. Manton's name is very questionable as he is not just a Conservative candidate for South Belfast, but I am positive that Michael Deane, the owner of Deanes Restaurant Group, was shocked to hear that one of his baristas, known as Ben Manton, was claiming to be the owner of the restaurant. Manton is not the only non business owner on the list as the job positions of some signatories include sub postmaster and office manager. In addition to this, the author of this list is listed as CCHQ Admin (Conservative Campaign Headquarters) showing that not only had the Conservatives left fingerprints at the scene of the crime, the went ahead and left a semen stain and saliva swab, leaving us in no doubt at who the culprit is.

The list is no more than a Tory stunt in an effort to show their strength with small business owners ahead of May 7th but its clear to all that David Cameron is not capable of leading this country through the next 5 years of austerity. With his parade of media cock ups including 2 in the last month in which he crumbled under Paxman and forgot what football team he supported. The Aston Villa/West Ham gaffe was just about as painful to watch as an actual Aston Villa v West Ham match. Cameron's pathetic attempt to humanise the public schoolboy and make him more populist only made him look even more out of touch from the every day person. Cameron has come underfire for his robust, mediocre media "performances" this campaign and rightly so. Even when he had a Channel 4 audience and Kay Burley playing nice and saving the hard questions for Milliband, he still showed the charisma and drive of a brick wall. After a series of lacklustre media interviews, Cameron has claimed that there is drive behind his campaign. Well Dave, surely if you have to come out and say that, there is a slight chance that you are just bland, uncharismatic and not the right man for the job

Happy Birthday Jim!

In the aftermath of his recent comments claiming that children living in a home with homosexual parents are more likely to be abused and then offending a lesbian couple whilst canvassing by saying, "Im sorry to hear you're gay". Northern Ireland's resident religious extremist, Jim Wells has resigned from his post as the Health minister. However, this will most likely not change anything as his replacement will most likely be about as open to equality as Jim and his predecessor. This morning, the topic of marriage equality was on the lips of every MLA in the country.....or of every MLA who had bothered to turn up. This was defeated by a vote of 49 No's to 47 Yes' and also a petition of concern, signed by 31 members of the DUP, showing that Jim Wells' recent comments was the mere icing on the bigoted cake that we call Stormont.

From a First Minister who doesnt trust Muslims, to now 2 former Health Ministers who believe that homosexuals are little more than sodomites, to a whole host of MP's and MLA's who sees their own culture as more important than the culture of 50% of the population. The DUP represents all of the bigoted views within this society and they back their discrimination up with 2 cop out excuses: 1) Its our culture and 2) Its our religious belief. Im my opinion you are entitled to your own beliefs and to follow whatever you want. But if you are willing to stand by a culture and/or a religion which discriminates against people for no apparent reason other than, "The book says they are wrong", well then you are nothing more than a bigot who is not fit to run a household, rather than a fucking Government.

The current situation in Northern Ireland

Unlike the rest of the UK, Northern Ireland still has had no legislation passed to enable same sex marriage. Six times a motion for same sex marriage has been proposed in Stormont (government building) and six times it has been rejected by the largest party, the DUP. Former health minister and surprisingly DUP politician, Nigel Dodds, has rejected homosexual males to donate blood that could save life’s, just because of those male’s sex life. All blood is tested before given as a donation therefore it would be clear if there was HIV or aids within the blood! This displays that our political leaders in Northern Ireland are nothing but homophobes and backwards. To make the situation worse, most recently, a gay male faced discrimination when a bakery named ‘Asher’s Bakery,’ took his order to bake a cake with a gay marriage slogan on it, they later denied his request because they felt it would offend their religious beliefs, the courts are now currently dealing with the situation. Although this company has inspired others to also deny requests of the LGBT community. There needs to be a change in Northern Ireland, I respect that people have religious beliefs and have a right to practice their religious but it is unacceptable to act in a discriminative manner towards those in your own community. Paul Givan, DUP MLA, attempted to propose a conscience clause in Northern Ireland, where company’s and organisations could deny their services to the gay community. Luckily the LGBT community and many others opposed this private members bill, and a petition was signed in attempt to block it, other political parties also have rejected this therefore it will not be passed. So remember the conscience clause wasn’t passed for a reason and we will continue to fight back against the oppression.

The DUP's attitudes towards homosexuality

Whether it be 'Ulster Agaimst Sodomy', Tom Buchanen telling school children that gays are an abomination, or Edwin Poots trying to ban gay blood. The DUP's attitudes towards the LGBT community in NI has always been questionable at best. There position was never more clearer than it was in December 2014 with the introduction of the Conscience Clause bill. This resulted in a number of outrageously pathetic attempts at a defence of Paul Givan, my favourite being, "Well you wouldnt walk into a bakery on the Falls Road and ask for a picture of the Shankill Butchers on a cake". Yes, yes, because we all know that Ruth and Dorothy celebrating their relationship is the exact same as some of the most ruthless, bloodthirsty mass murderers in the history of the UK. Too add to this, Jim Wells has now said a child is more likely to be abused when it is in a household with 2 homosexual parents which just shows that after 40 years, the homophobic, bitter, delusional bigots still cant see the short comings in the Bible's flawed notion of morality. Oh well, as Jesus would say, "Love thy neighbour as thyself.....unless it substantially burdens your religious beliefs in which case you are 100% entitled to hate"
