If you remember, in the Hall of Forgotten Gods, there is a very early form of the triple goddess. Three women whose faces are absent but whose sexual attributes are carefully sculpted.
I knew it was a reference to actual prehistoric representations though I could not give an exact reference. Well today, upon reading a book about symbolism, I stumbled upon this.
A grotto called the “Roc-aux-Sorciers” (Stone-of-Wizards/Warlocks), in Angles-sur-Anglin, in France. This grotto has wall sculptures from the superior Paleolithic era - including three female bodies, with only sculpted the belly, thigh and sexual organs.
I know there are other “triple female” Prehistoric representations but at least this is one I can identify. These are the only good quality pictures I could find online.
