Hey Everyone!

We have been so blown away by the response we've received to our interest form! We're so thrilled to see so many of you are up for another round!

We also want to thank everyone who has reached out over Tumblr and Email about another event being run at the same time. We are not affiliated with this event, but we are keeping their schedule in mind as we proceed with our own plans so they don't conflict for participants who may want to be involved with both.

Given this, we do need some more time to finalize the details on our future plans as the interest form is still running.

That said we don't want to leave you hanging, we will have a Good Omens theme week taking place the week of November 2nd - November 9th! More info will come later this week.

This theme week will be open to all and has no bearing on your participation in future events.

The theme week will lead up to our announcement of our next iteration of the Good Omens Big Bang!

We can't wait to share what's coming!

Ok so I already talked about Aziraphale!Crowley’s little smirk of “I F***ING DARE YOU” earlier today.

But that GLARE in GIF 6. The way he looks down first.

Crowley is thinking really hard here.

He closes his eyes and he pictures exactly how Aziraphale would react in this situation - how scared he would be, how he would try to hide it, how this stupid nobody demon would probably just laugh at that.

He’s thinking how degrading it would be for Aziraphale (who is actually very strong and very brave) to be bound like this, insulted by the bosses he respects even if they don’t deserve it, and then smacked around by one of the lowest-ranked demons who wouldn’t even dare look at an angel under normal circumstances.

He thinks about how Aziraphale would react to being hit, how he would try to pretend it didn’t hurt, how this demon would probably brag about this moment for centuries.

Crowley pictures all this. He knows he can probably pull off the impersonation.

Then he makes the deliberate choice to break character just long enough to make this demon s**t his actual pants because no one treats his angel like that.

So much yes. And that uncharacteristic look is exactly what scares Eric off.

Neil specifically said that Crowley’s version of Aziraphale is braver than Aziraphale’s version. Because Az can absolutely be this badass, he just doesn’t know that. He’s always doubting himself. But I do think at his hardest that this is how he’d be: that left-side expression, unflappable as stone.

The smirk is all Crowley, though. Aziraphale does a lot of things, but he doesn’t typically smirk (just like Crowley doesn’t typically wrinkle his nose). Crowley is making sure his fellow demon sees something dangerous there. He probably knows Eric, at least in passing - the guy gets around - and he knows that’s all it’ll take. Eric has a sense of self-preservation, after all.

Now for the really funny part: Crowley-as-Aziraphale is also braver than Crowley-as-Crowley. Like, Crowley’s really good at bluffing. But is he normally this cool and calm? No. He wishes. But he’s really, really not. It’s only in Az’s guise that he finds this badass serenity. Because he’s 100% confident he’s playing someone who wouldn’t be fazed by any of this.

It’s sweet as all fuck, honestly. Just on every level.

Angel Tree Topper!

Seeing as @gaydemonicdisaster was having so much fun topping her Christmas tree with our favorite angel from the Choose Your Vestments Wisely paperdoll set (unless your fave is Gabriel, in which case why are you here LOL) @astralgravy and I decided to give you all a little treat. If you want to prove Aziraphale CAN top (a Christmas tree), print him out on some sturdy paper, cut him out, tape a ribbon on the back and tie him on! Your relatives and visiting carolers (hopefully behind masks) will never know your tree topper gave his sword away and really loves crepes, he looks totally innocent. But YOU will know.
