March 2018
Hey Everyone -
So up here in Canada, March has come in like a lamb and appears to also be going out like a lamb? It hasn’t been all that cold for weeks, but ol’ man winter just won’t quite go. We’re so close now to warm weather, BBQ and cottage season and snacking by the fireside…
In the mean time, let’s talk this month’s snacks. March’s Get Canucked box is awesome… a pure treasure trove of goodness, starting with our feature item this month: an entire box of PC Decadent chocolate chip cookies. That’s right…a whole box of these beauties to keep you going. The chocolate side of the box this month also features some treats from the Easter bunny with a Caramilk chocolate egg, Aero and Smarties characters, along with one of our very favourite snacks: Cadbury Mini Eggs. To round it out is a bag of Oh Henry Sweet and Salty mix and another Macchiato Coffee Crisp!
On the salty side of the box this month, we have a newby-but-soon-to-be-classic: Old Dutch Bacon Hickory Sticks. Good lord these things are tasty. We also have classics: Ruffles All Dressed and Lay’s Ketchup. Lastly, we rounded out the box with some Lime and Black Pepper Miss Vickies.
Happy snacking!

July 2017
Hey Everyone -
Happy Canada Day! For those who don’t know, every July 1 is Canada Day, which commemorates the enactment of the Constitution Act of 1867. Canada just celebrated 150 years! Just lookup the hashtag #canada150 for photos, videos and to join in the celebrations.
Now…to the snacking…
This month, we’re adding a bit of variety to the salty side of the box with a big bag of Bits and Bites. These are a bit like Chex mix, but oh so so SO much better. Why? Because the cereal they’re made with is Shreddies, a Canadian cupboard staple. Put a bowl of these out at your summer BBQ and watch them disappear.
Also on the salty side of the box are some Dill Pickle flavoured Spitz Sunflower Seeds. Calling all baseball fans…these are perfect for an afternoon ball game.
Chips this month include some Old Dutch All Dressed, Miss Vickie’s Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar, along with some Fritos Hoops.
And…drumroll…we have put in not one, but two packages of Poutine gravy mix from Canadian company French’s. We certainly hope you all know what Poutine is about, but if not, Poutine is a French-Canadian favourite of fries and cheese curds topped with gravy. For the most authentic experience, get yourselves some cheese curds (available at many Walmart stores across the USA), make some fries and then top ‘em off with some genuine Canadian poutine gravy.
Now to the sweet side of the box...
We have given another nod to our French Canadian brothers and sisters with a Mille Feuille pastry cake. This is another Quebec staples and incredibly delicious.
We’re pretty thrilled with the candy selection this month too…some classic Maynard’s Wine Gums along with some Allan’s Hot Lips and Runts. For our Canadian customers who went to summer camp or spent their summers at a cottage by a lake…no doubt the Hot Lips and Runts will bring back some memories.
Lastly, we decided we’d roll the dice and try to send some chocolate with 5 small packets of Smarties and an Oh Henry. Oh Hungry? Oh yes, Oh Henry.
As always – we want to know what you think! Let us know how you like this month’s box on FB @getcanuckedbox, tweeting at us @getcanucked or checking us out on Instagram @getcanucked

May 2017
Hey Everyone -
So we’ve changed around our shipping schedule a bit. Boxes purchased during the month now get shipped during the first week or so of the following month now. This means that we didn’t really have a Get Canucked box in April because boxes purchased in April shipped the first week of May. But we’re back on track and going forward, no more changes!
With that being said...hoo man, we have a humdinger of a box for May!
The sweet side of the box this month is also taking on a new form. For most of winter we were shipping chocolate but chocolate turns into a sticky, melted mess in summer, so we’re sending some other goodness for the warmer months instead. This month we have some Dad’s Chocolate Chip cookies and an Original Wagon Wheel (okay...so these both have a bit of chocolate...but we’re thinking they’ll hold up), some Maynard’s Fuzzy Peach slices and Maynard’s Wine Gums - CLASSICS, along with an Eat More bar. The most exciting part though? A Super Duper sized Passion Flakie. Some of our super-fans have been asking for this for awhile and we are finally delivering.
We have a full-size box of Kraft Dinner for a serious slice of #canadianity…
For those subscribers who don’t know, Canadian pundit Rex Murphy once wrote “Kraft Dinner revolves in that all-but-unobtainable orbit of the Tim Hortons doughnut and the A&W Teen Burger. It is one of that great trinity of quick digestible that have been enrolled as a genuine Canadian cultural icon.” Former Prime Minister Paul Martin regularly referred to it as his favourite food and former Prime Minister Stephen Harper said he likes to “add wieners” when he makes it for his kids.
How do you like your Kraft Dinner? To Ketchup or not to Ketchup? With wieners, or without?
On the chip front this month, you all know that All Dressed and Ketchup flavours are staples in Get Canucked boxes. So we’re back again with some Lay’s Ketchup and some All Dressed Crispers. We also have some Dutch Crunch Originals and Humpty Dumpty Cheese Sticks.
So what do you think? Let us know how you like this month’s box on FB @getcanuckedbox, tweeting at us @getcanucked or checking us out on Instagram @getcanucked

Hey Everyone —
No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you… Each and every box out this month is loaded to the brim with more limited edition and seasonal snacks than ever before.
With Easter on its way, Canadian store aisles are just about as covered in candy as the roads outside are with snow. In your box, you’ve got a fluffy, almost-(almost)-too-cute-to-eat chocolate lamb from Aero, and not one, not two, but three chocolate eggs: Smarties (yay!!) and two cookie-related treats, Chips Ahoy! and Oreo (yay!! x 2)
For a bar experience, Coffee Crisp came out strong n’ sophisticated this month featuring one of our own coffee shop faves, the caramel macchiato. We’re big fans. Not to be outdone, Aero doubled down on their flavour game as well with this white and milk chocolate bubbled dream. Let us know what you think!
For your chip selection this month, we had to run a victory lap on the Doritos Ketchup. Coming in strong to round out the selection are some Lay’s Smokey Bacon, Old Dutch All Dressed, and Miss Vickie’s Harvest Cheddar and Herb.
We want to know what flavours you’re feeling so tweet us at @getcanucked or comment on Instagram.
