Anxiety, is caused by a need for control. We probably assumed these controlling habits as children to try and make our environment safe. Instead of regulating our emotions inside out, we began to try and control the uncontrollable to avoid the need to regulate our own emotions. Attempting to control things outside of self is rather unpredictable, the uncertainty of the outcome even after all of our efforts to manipulate it induce anxiety.

I just prefer to stay to myself these days, the people close to me get to experience the insanity that is me but in the best way possible.

I just asked about therapy because I tried many times and never thought it helped me but ppl keep saying I should try different ones. I was just curious about your take on that since you mentioned once you were doing it. I suffer from depression and anxiety. I didn’t mean to say you’re ill or not normal

I didn’t take offense to it. I have a bit of dry humor.

I think going to a psychiatrist could be beneficial if you have a chemical imbalance and need to be medicated.

I’ve never liked talk therapy and was a waist of time and money for me.

What makes you so proud of being American?

Our over consumption. I love all the products available to me that I can’t find while in Europe! Mybe I would also be able to survive in parts of some Asian countries, due to the focus on beauty products and procedures but I wouldn’t enjoy it. I love the aesthetic of American cities such as New York, Miami, and LA the stories that our architecture and design through the centuries tell.

I’m sure other places could be interesting, but I’m an all American girl and I wouldn’t want be anywhere else long term.

I am also maintaining very fair skin, and don't want to risk going to a place that could potentially cause irritation.

When I lived in the upper east side I went to Liora Dermatology & Aesthetics for skin treatments.

The Korean doctor I went to for vaginal filler, Barbie leg Botox, and glutathione drips was AestheticsMD by Jean Rhee Upper East Side. LOVE HIM.

I didn’t find anyone I was super happy with for face Botox at the time in New York and I don’t recommend ever getting face filler! (Get fat grafting if you have volume loss)

In LA I would recommend dr chang at Prive beauty for anything face or skin related. She specializes in facelifts and knows how the anatomy works which is important for Botox placement.
