Board Meeting Highlights Bulletin
Hello homeowners, here are the quick notes from our board meeting today. These are not the official minutes, but just the highlights. Financial – we are underspent by 20% YTD, but are still using some reserves to pay for recovery and adjustments following our major renovation project.. Maintenance – attic items and storm door have been adjusted. Touch-up painting of siding for the five properties that have alleyside patios is scheduled for 6/15. The sidewalk bulging issue on Umatilla will be adjusted by the contractor. The board voted to approve a bid from Snugs for power washing and exterior window washing. Landscape – Larry Betten reported on yesterday’s walkthrough with our new account manager from East & West, Carl Beckert. General irrigation system has been adjusted and is working fine now.High hanging plants will receive irrigation soon. We will get more bark for ground coverage. We ask homeowners to report any problems with irrigation, plant health, etc. Old business – The solar panel policy is in place. If anyone is interested in installing rooftop panels, contact Diane Linn or Judy Zehr. Shamrock will seek recommendations for security systems for our alley. New Business – The board approved a motion to plan for a community-wide yard sale, to be held in the alley for a few hours on one day (such as a Saturday). This will be followed by a community picnic. The next board meetings are on 9/5 and 11/7. Our annual general meeting will be held on 11/28, at which time elections will be held for a number of board positions. Please consider volunteering for a two-year position.
