Sometimes you find yourself in Times Square and stop yourself just as your thoughts start to lead where everyone who lives in New York's thoughts go. Instead, you remind yourself that you, 15 years ago, were a young girl who would give everything to one day live among those lights and grace those nearby stages. And even though it didn't turn out exactly that way, you thank her for having a dream and a heart so big. It turned out better than she could have ever imagined.
