not to be to personal but are you every disipointed you didn't go to art school? I have very conflicted feelings about never even trying to apply because i used to really want to go but opted out for nutrition. I just wanted to know if you know how to deal with the conflicted feelings D:

I would not call it “disappointment", but sometimes I do wonder what would happen if I actually did choose to go to an art school.

I think what really helped me got through with the conflicted feelings was the fact that I know many artists that never went to an art school either because of parents/family or financial issues (because let’s get real here: art school is really expensive and not everyone can afford it). It helps knowing you’re not alone, and it definitely helps knowing that being an artist and something else is do-able!

The conflicted feelings has not gone away completely yet because doing art was something that I had loved ever since I was little. But at the same time, I do not regret choosing my major either. I am happy with it because I learned many things and it also challenges my creative skills.

I hope this helps (probably most likely not) but I want you to know that just because you now major in nutrition, it doesn’t make you any less of an artist! :) If you need to talk more, you’re welcome to come off anon and I will answer you privately.

Oh wow Anon. Thank you for your nice comment but I’m afraid that you’ve misunderstood. And since I recently got new followers, I would like to clear things up again:

Hi everyone, my name is Kirana and I am not actually 12 years old. I am a legal adult and sometimes I lie about my age (as a joke) because I do not want people to think that I am a weird adult that hangs around little kids too much and still enjoys kids cartoon. Whenever someone asks if I am 12 I usually say “yes" as a sarcastic joke because if you follow me long enough or browse through my blog enough you can see that I am actually a college student (and if anyone is wondering, no, I do not major in art or anything close to it).

How old am I? The world may never know.

Sorry again for the confusion! I do not mean to fool anyone. I guess I really do act like I am 12 or something but trust me

I did write that I am not actually twelve on the tag to explain the joke but because it was reblogged around so much, I am sure most people missed it. My fault. But yeah, I am not trying to be a fake prodigy or anything hahaha. I am far from it.

i got a bowl-ish cut recently.

i drew the first picture in high school, when i thought that i would eventually get into an art school and receive awesome artistic education and become an artist eventually. spoiler alert to my high school self: i never went to an art school. i never applied. ..

just a speedpaint to see if i actually improved. i know how to paint slightly better and i know how human anatomy vaguely works but i still do not know how to draw/paint a human heart.
