Hi! I live in Michigan and my town has an old asylum from the 1880s that they closed down in the 1990s. It's been abandoned for years and it's been falling apart and vandalized and such but now they are finally renovating it into luxury dining and shopping, housing, and assisted living. It's really quite spectac and it's called the State Hospital (now the Grand Traverse Commons). Much of it is still dilapidated and it's very cool and you should google it sometime. There's underground tunnels too
Thank you for the awesome suggestion, I will check it out. You should explore the underground tunnels in the meantime haha ; p
Fuckin great page. Our blog or whatever it's called. I'm new to tumblr, not sure what i will be putting up, but I like architecture and old decaying things.

Gulliver's Kingdom theme park, Japan.
Located 2 1/2 hours from Tokyo, Gulliver's Kingdom (based on the novel) was only open from 1997 to 2001. The park was built next to Mount Fuji, and unfortunately, also next to Aokigahara forest, or suicide forest. The park went out of business quickly because of this and its proximity to the village of the terrorist organization Aum Shinrikyo.
I'm sorry for the spam! I really love your blog and stuff ._.
haha believe me I don't mind.Thanks so much :D
