I see the movie on friday, im tweaking out. have some goofy shit,

the scene from the phm movie that i keep thinking about is actually one that wasn't in the book at all - where rocky and grace are in the tunnel and rocky gives him the oxygen atom model and tries to get grace to take off his helmet. and even after grace realizes that rocky is trying to tell him that his side of the tunnel is safe he's like uhhhhh yeah. no. still too afraid. don't quite trust that my head won't explode. (AKA i don't trust you). and he turns around and is about to leave the tunnel but rocky is still sitting on his side looking at him with the eridian equivalent of puppy dog eyes and you can see grace realize in real time that he needs to take a leap of faith. and he removes the helmet and gasps in relief, because the air is breathable, and he can trust rocky, and if he was brave enough to do that, he might just be brave enough to save the world.
