“Sure! I usually eat with the tele on anyways, so it’s no big deal to me!” With that, he switched on the TV, turning it to ‘Family Fued’. He liked trying to figure out the answers before they were revealed.
Hopefully his guest wouldn’t mind him doing that much, since he tended to get a little loud if he was correct.
“Do you watch this show much, Leif?” He pointed at the tv with his fork, with curious eyes directed towards his guest.
{{ L }} “Can’t say that I have, what is it about, Alois?” Leif actually didn’t watch too much television so this, just like playing video games, it would be an experience.
“Mind telling me what it is or what it is about?”
“It’s a game show, two family’s compete in a questionnaire, trying to guess what the top answers are. In order to get those answers, the show surveys 100 people and the answers that are repeated the most are the ones put on board.
I think the points per answer also corresponds to the number of people who gave that answer but I’m not sure.
It’s fun trying to figure out what the answers are before either family gets them though!” His smile stayed wide throughout his explanation.
“You don’t watch much TV, do you? I thought nearly everyone knew this show. And you don’t play video games either…
What do you do for fun?”
{{ L }} “Hmm…well I like to bake and read mangas. I do watch occasional TV when I bake but it just plays in the background really as I don’t pay much attention to what they say.”
Leif gave a shrug taking a bite out of the lunch Alois had prepared, it tasted so good.
“This is really good Alois…oh and what do you do for fun?”
“So you’re the reader type, huh? I guess I’ll have to pick up some books, for when you come over again. Uh, if you come over again, I mean. Guess I shouldn’t just assume you’ll come back, huh?” He hoped Leif would though. The company was nice.
“Oh, thank you! I’ve had a lot of practice.
As for what I do for fun...well, I play games and watch TV, obviously. I go shopping when I have money. I also like to skate. Uh, with roller blades, I mean. I don’t have a skateboard.
I’d go out to movies and stuff, but that kind of stuff is boring to do alone.”
“What kind of books do you read, by the way?”
