This album is the soundtrack for my evening.
Nihilism allows people to create their own purpose in life instead of succumbing to the idea that there’s a path planned out for each of us
the beauty of nihilism.
Veritasium - an element of truth.
This too is my truth.
There is no justification for life, but also no reason not to live. Those who claim to find meaning in their lives are either dishonest or deluded. In either case, they fail to face up to the harsh reality of the human situations

Pepper Spray is never fun.

Pepper spray being used against protesters, street medics and journalists during the Reclaim Australia rally & No Room for Racism counter rally in Melbourne. July 18th.
Photography and Stuffz
This Saturday I will be covering another anti-islam protest and anti-racism counter protest in Melbourne. (This time in Bendigo)
The first time I took photos at one of these events I got punched in the head by a neo-nazi, but walked away mostly unharmed (with a broken GoPro) but with this photo now in my collection (which went viral)
The second time was more intense - Richmond, May 31st, I covered the event and managed to sneak past the police lines after taking photos of the counter-rally and got to the UPF rally down the road and began taking photos and filming. I caught a woman (who I presume was Muslim) standing up to the protesters and getting shouted down by a neo-nazi. This footage ended up published in The Daily Mail:
The next time was probably the most painful covering rallies has been for me; at the July 18th rally in Melbourne rally where the UPF/Reclaim Australia were countered by anti-racism protesters from No Room for Racism and Campaign against Racism and Fascism, police responce was incredibly heavy. Protesters from both sides exchanged blows, and police attempted to quell this by pepper spraying into the ground in a way which seemed completely indiscriminate. Street medics were hit, as well as journalists such as myself. I am worried about this rally coming up on Saturday, as I believe that it will be another round of violence between protesters and heavy handed police responce. I do not wish to see anyone hurt, and I definitely do not wish to be pepper sprayed again, especially when I'm over 3 hours from home. (and still healing from 8 stitches to my hand)

Genderfluid person in need!
Hi guys! I’m Kristian and I’m gender fluid/ aspiring drag king. I very frequently have male days and I have to be dress female most of those days because I cower knowing I can’t pass with the shit materials I have and not having the money to be able to have a nice packer, I don’t have decent make up or the right tools to look anything like a man. I also want to start doing work as a drag king at nightclubs. I just saw an amazing trans man/ drag king kit I really need to have! Every time I try to save up for a nice packer or something I end up needing to pay medical bills. Packers can be something ridiculous like $150 each. But this kit…holy shit. This kit is amazing. It comes with facial hair (OMG. I’ve dreamed of having facial hair), really good tape, make up, fake nipples, adhesive and all these things I really need and can’t afford. The kit altogether is only $90 but with shipping it’s $110. I’m willing to pay for my own postage as I get $30 a week to myself so I can easily cover it. With this kit I’ll be able to pass as at the least androgynous, Please if you can spare $1, it’d really help me out <3 Payments via paypal only. Ok so I need your help! URGENTLY!
You’ve probably seen my photo (above) before, on BuzzFeed, Daily Mail, or other newspapers, or even just spread across facebook.
Or maybe you’ve seen my videos which have also gone sorta viral as well.
Well, on July 18th I’ll be heading down to take more photos of the Reclaim Australia vs. Rally Against Racism events which will be taking place at Victorian Parliament (at least that’s the tentative location, so far) and urgently need to get new equipment to cover it.
One camera, two lenses (one banged up), fast paced environment where I cannot switch lenses without getting one broken or missing the shot.... not easy and not good. so I need to raise funds.
I don’t get paid for my photography work, so live off my own (low) income. and as such am calling out for help.
If anyone is able to help me please consider donating to my campaign:
(as of posting this I’ve raised $250 of my goal)
http://www.gofundme.com/wardenclyffe
any and all donations will go straight to helping me do more work (by getting new equipment for it) and will be greatly appreciated. i mean, seriously, greatly appreciated.

Some of you might recognize this picture. My friend Kenji ( ghettoblasphemer ) took this at the Reclaim Australia rally. It’s gone viral across Australia and internationally as well. Kenji has been a photographer for five years, and now, being internationally recognized, they want to make their content even better. Upon their success with this photo, Kenji now needs your help. They need new equipment~! “Photography has always been a passion of mine since childhood, and I’ve always been interested in spreading what’s going on in the world to people. After covering one event recently, one of my photographs began to spread around the world and has become known as the photo used to fight racism across Australia… I know now that I need to step further into photojournalism and take more of a proactive approach to my work and spreading the important events which happen around me.” DONATE : http://www.pozible.com/project/195022 How the funds will be used (rough estimates of budget) Equipment: Camera: $1000 - $1,500 depending on funding. (Nikon D5300 or Nikon D7200 respectively) Lenses: $800-$1000 (Nikon AF-S 70-300mm) or Nikon AF-S 18-200mm SD Cards: can possibly cover this myself, will only get this if I get extra funding. Batteries: $70 but will possibly cover this myself unless I get extra funding. Advertising: Youtube: $400-$550 for one month of advertising. Facebook: $650ish for one month. EXTRA: to cover rewards to you those who donate to this endeavor. If this project goes beyond the funding goal, I will use the extra for advertising and smaller items like SD cards and batteries for my equipment.

Powdered Alcohol Is Now Legal - But Is It Safe?
A powdered form of alcohol called Palcohol is now approved for sale in the United States, but how safe is this product?
Some health experts say they are concerned that powered alcohol could be abused by minors, or could be more easily more easily hidden and consumed in places where people are not allowed to have alcohol. But others argue that there is no reason the drug would be more hazardous than liquid alcohol. Learn more
my face, because why not. been a while. yep.
Studies
Back in 2008 I began studying Archaeology, which was one of my interests, however as time went on i realized that it was not what i expected. The studies were bland, and I was more interested in the mythology of ancient cultures, their stories and beliefs, than I was in archaeology. Not only that I was more interested in specifically Babylonian mythology which also seemed to play a smaller role in my course.
I would have to wait at least a year and a half to focus on what I wanted, and I felt the bland nature of what I was doing was going to make studying painfully boring... why study something I was finding myself no longer interested in?
I then moved from Archaeology to Communications and Journalism, something which I was and still am interested in, but due to where I was studying, the course load was way too much for me (double a standard university course) and my health and mental state was not in a state where I could adequately dedicate my time to my course.. I changed courses for a second time.
I began to study Web Design, as I knew I had the knowledge and past experience in it to succeed. I thought this was a good idea.... I was wrong. I dropped out again, finding the class boring as I knew everything I was doing already. I’m not one to find that worthwhile.
Around this point, due to personal issues, I fell into a deep depression, lost a whole lot of weight, and couldn't get back into studies. So I finally dropped out completely.
I learnt a few things from this experience:
I need a mix of interest in the subject and a challenge. I cannot study something I already know lots about, I cannot study something which is bland in hopes that I’ll get to the interesting meaty parts of the subject. I cannot do things just because they’re easy.
I need a mix of difficult and easy, and I need that interest.
So, where does this leave me?
As a child I grew up consuming the knowledge of science magazines for enjoyment. I’d read and re-read the magazines, and get understandings of the concepts behind the articles, learning from a young age about general relativity, the types of stars, the planets, formation of both, how scientific knowledge is tested, all of that jazz.
As soon as I had access to the treasure trove of knowledge the internet provides and Wikipedia was created, I would spend hours at night just falling deeper and deeper into Wikipedia holes, reading up on Quantum Physics, Dyson Spheres, The Fermi Paradox, The Drake Equation, Evolution, Biology, etc.
I remember a book I found at a library before I went to university, which was about a scientist’s search for what sparked the evolution of life on Earth. I wish I could recall the book, but that, coupled with my love of science, evolution, biology (evolutionary biology ohyes) and my childhood, I grew to love biological sciences. Always wishing I could go to university and study evolutionary biology.
Science was my first love, my parent’s were science teachers, I entered competitions at school where we’d be ranked in the district based on our knowledge of science, and I’d try to educate my friends on what exactly general relativity was.
So science was always in my genes, (hah), and as such, I thought I should do something about it.
So I enrolled in a science course at university.
I am now a science student.
I don’t know what I’ll major in, which area, but I know that this is where I belong.
i understand the concepts, but I’m learning new things at the same time. It’s easy, but challenging in the right way.
I still am interested in Archaeology, and journalism, but I can focus on them in different ways without them being my career.
All I know is I’ve found my academic calling... and it was the one i wanted all along.
I am home.
