felt unmotivated to draw my wolfquest characters so i tried some more character design instead. I had fun with it and i think this little kitty is a cutie

my first ever accurate wolf, Nikolle

I played him around a month or two after the saga came out in beta, and i struggled a bunch. He dispersed with his two brothers, and he had a neat mate, but things went very bad. During growing pups, the whole pack started starving because the wind refused to show me where the elk were so i tried hunting something else (dont remember what) and it went badly. i remember returning to the rendezvous, and there being elk RIGHT next to it. i was so mad, and i was low on health but i tried hunting a calf- and died.

Nikolle is the only wolf i’ve played that has died before reaching elder wolf, and that makes me very attached to him

looking back i know pretty much what i did wrong and what was down to luck. I play on exclusively unforgiving ironwolf these days, but i still haven’t forgotten how stressful the first time on accurate was for me

i wanted to try backgrounds so i did and i kinda like how this turned out

The contrast in some areas bugs me but too much might make it look stiff so i’m just gonna leave it this way rather than fuss

i dont actually remember what coat this is because it was an old mate i had and i wanted to improvise anyways
