Wendigo : Part One   Part Two   Part Three  Part Four
----
âAlright. Listen up!â Sam begun, nudging past you as he walked into the centre of th
After making makeshift bombs for around 30 minutes, which wouldâve probably taken less time if Dean hadnât had to teach Haley how to do it several times, you began to move away from camp. You had managed to control your nerves, for now anyway, and had only grabbed onto Deanâs jacket once but as a sign of affection. The patience he had with Hailey was incredible and you couldnât help but smile when he kept looking over and rolling his eyes a little. You shouldnât really smile at that, but it made you feel a little special that you were able to do it and she couldnât⌠although you kept thinking that maybe you should have pretended to not understand how to make a homemade bomb so he could spend more time with you.
âDonât you fucking dare start liking him, [y/n].â You mumbled to yourself.
âWhat?â Sam spoke, turning around to face you. He had clearly heard you mumble⌠hopefully not any exact words otherwise heâd be able to predict immediately.Â
âOh, nothing. Just humming a song.â You lied, before jogging up so you could walk next to him. Hailey and her brother were all in front of you and you were all following Dean who was leading the way.
âThis is tiring.â You smiled, trying to make the whole situation, which was becoming eerie, more lighthearted. No one responded, but you heard a few scoffs from some of them. You were hoping one of them was from Dean.
___
âAre we setting up camp soon or likeâŚ.?â You asked, bending down a little.
You had been walking for quite a while now and you could tell because it was hard to see. The sun had gone to bed and everything was one hundred times more creepy. The leaves seemed to crunch underfoot at a higher volume and the wind whistled through the trees like it was the last time it could and it was making the most of it. You hated it. But you couldnât turn back.
âDean!â Sam shouted, causing you to stand back up and look over.Â
Sam had taken over as lead a while ago but Dean didnât join you at the back, unfortunately, and you couldnât catch up with him because you werenât fast enough.
âWhat is it?â You heard him reply, and ran over to sit next to him. You were nosy and wanted to know what was happening. Plus, you really didnât want to be at the back anymore⌠it was getting too creepy.
âShit.â Your murmured, looking around all the trees that each had a massive claw mark ripped into it which were covered in blood.
Sam then pushed you and Dean to the side, but quite unexpectedly so you freaked out a little bit but calmed down when you noticed who it was.
âYou know, I was thinking that those claw prints are so clear and distinct⌠they were almost too easy to follow.â He whispered.
âLike⌠itâs a trap?â You answered, swivelling around to face both of them.
They didnât have time to answer, as a growl surrounded all your ears and you whipped around in all possible angles to check if something was there. You hadnât noticed you had backed up, trying to get closer to Dean, until you hit him.
âSorry.â You muttered, still frantically looking around.
âDonât be.â He replied, before grabbing your hand in his and giving it a little squeeze before releasing.Â
It had only been for a second, but your heart couldnât take it and your nervous stomach, that was making you feel ill, got overtaken by butterflies who were making you motion sick.
You looked at Dean who was searching around, for a shadow that had flittered past, and you felt comfortable in his presence; even if you were being chased by a Wendigo.Â
However, your uncomfortableness soon reared its ugly head again as you heard a loud scream erupt from Hailey and a loud thud followed.Â
You turned around quickly, searching around for Hailey, who was now sprawled across the floor, and directly next to her was a body. The butterflies had left, replaced again with pure dread, as you and Sam ran up to her to ask if she was okay.
As Sam lifted her from the ground, you turned your attention back towards Dean who was leaning over the body. It was Roy. The sickness rose. You didnât like the man, but he didnât deserve the fate he met.
âHis neck is broken.â Dean softly spoke, drawing his attention to the forest canopy.
The snarls continued, growing louder, destroying the time for mourning.
âOkay, run, run! Go, go, go, go!â Dean screamed, giving you no time to think as he pushed you forward.
You were thankful for this though, your brain had given up. It wasnât used to seeing all the death and pain that people had to endure.Â
You, like everyone else, ran forward, not worrying about if your legs would suddenly collapse. Although you felt like they would. You heard someoneâs legs actually do this, but didnât turn around. You knew you would feel guilty about it later, but right now you were just focused on running.Â
A little too fast though, as you suddenly crashed into someone or something.Â
Your head burned and your body stung in every possible place. And then it went black.Â
___
âDean? Sam?â You whispered hoarsely. Your eyes began to burn as you opened, dust settling over the lids. âDean? Sam?â
You couldnât help but cry out as you saw the decrepit place you were being held. The rope bore into your skin, the dry air attacking your lungs. Where were you? What had happened? A low growl murmured through the underground pathway. Tears escaped your eyes, you were locked up, abandoned. You could even be dead, you didnât know.
âGuys please.â You could only manage a whisper as you floated back into unconsciousness.Â
___
â[Y/N], itâs okay sweetheart, we got you.â
You looked up at Dean smiling down at you. While the sky was a beautiful bright blue with not a single cloud in sight, you could only focus on the beauty put before you. Dean smiled down at you, a sense of concern glazing over his eyes. What a perfect moment it was, just you and Dean. Even if you had just fallen flat on the floor...
You closed your eyes, a smile plastered on your face - this moment could never be beaten. You slipped your hand into his, feeling the warmth of his palm and the tightness of his grip. You didnât need to see his face to know he was sliming down at you, but you opened your eyes nonetheless.
âSweetheart, itâs okay,â Dean assured, holding onto your waist, gripping you tight.
When your eyes opened you thought youâd see the young, bright face of an eighteen-year-old Dean, so fresh and full of life. What was actually looking down at you was the dirty, stern face of a much older Dean that had clearly been to the depths of Hell and back.
Tears streamed down as you recalled your situation, being close to death tied up underground by a Supernatural being. A Supernatural being you didnât even know existed until yesterday. Mostly you were crying because youâd been found, and Dean was holding you tight as you went through this terrifying experience.
âMy knight in shining armour.â You scoffed as he untied your wrists, allowing blood to flood to them again. âAt least I know Iâve always got you to save me.â
Dean dropped the rope to the floor and grabbed your waist once again, looking down at your intently. You felt yourself blush as you looked back up at him. Hopefully, the dirt caked across your face would hide it.Â
âAlways, [Y/N].â He whispered, leaning down to kiss the top of your forehead. âAlways.â
âGuys, come on,â Sam muttered, breaking the moment. It didnât do anything to stop the swirling in your stomach though. âLetâs go find, Tommy.â
You spent a couple minutes adjusting to the environment, grabbing onto Dean for support, before you felt stable enough to pick up the pace and walk yourself. You trapsed through the underground corridors with Sam, Dean, Haley, and her brother by your side and soon enough you came across another body hanging and limp.
âNo.â Haley gasped running towards the lifeless body in front of us.Â
She grabbed hold of him, trying to hide the tears threatening to fall down her cheeks. You couldnât look, you couldnât imagine how she must be feeling. You lowered your head, suppressing tears of your own.
A sudden gasp brought your attention back to Tommy. He was awake. Breathing. Alive! The joy on Haleyâs face was unimaginable, and everyone began clamouring toward him.
âCut him down,â Haley spoke, holding onto her brother's face.Â
You moved toward his and helped Sam with cutting the rope holding Tommyâs legs, lowering him to the ground, and removing the bindings on his feet.
âItâs okay. Weâre gonna get you home.â Haley spoke as a smile of relief broke across Tommyâs face.
You looked at his face once more before glancing over at Dean. He was rummaging through some bags and pulled out two objects which looked like guns. A few weeks ago that wouldâve surprised you but your facial expression now didnât change.
âCheck it out!â Dean spoke as he waved the guns, drawing everyoneâs attention to him.
âFlare guns. Those will work.â Sam responded, a smile creeping onto his face.
âLetâs get going then.â You smiled back at Sam before looking over at Dean. You thought you saw him wink at you but maybe you were wrong⌠it was dark after all.
____
You began walking through the corridors once more, eyes alert for any movement. You were scared, you couldnât deny it, but there was no way a Wendigo was gonna defeat you.
Iâm not dying in a fucking cave, you thought to yourself, and even if I did, Iâll go down fighting.
âLooks like someoneâs home for supper.â Dean scoffed, as a low rumble ran down the cave.
âWeâll never outrun it!â Haley exclaimed. For a girl who's just been through so much, her face was plagued with steely determination.Â
âYou thinking what Iâm thinking?â Dean asked Sam, with them exchanging glances between them. You knew at some point youâd be privy to their physic plans too and you couldnât wait.
âI think so.â He responded, hiking up the flair even higher.
âAlright, listen to me. Stay with Sam. Heâs gonna get you out of here.â Dean turned facing all of you.
âWhat are you gonna do?â Haleyâs concern grew.
âDean, you canât face that thing alone.â You whispered, a tremor becoming more apparent.
He just looked at you, winked again, and ran out into another lane.
âHeâs a fucking idiot.â You sighed as he screams out âItâs chow time, you freaking bastardâ.
He continued screaming as you stayed by Samâs side. You knew he was more than capable but it didnât hurt any less and your mind couldnât stop thinking about what would happen if he failed.
âAll right, come on. Hurry!â Sam shouted, urging you guys to move into a different area. For once in your life, you were obedient and followed him.
You continued through the tunnel, hearing the growl of the beast rising.Â
âGet out of here,â Sam spoke, nodding towards the exit of the cave.
âNo!â Haley replied.
âCome on.â You spoke. It hurt your heart to leave Sam but you knew they had a plan and that theyâd be able to survive. They had to survive. âHeâll be fine, letâs go.â
Haley looked at you and you felt a sense of admiration from her as you looked back. You managed a weak smile as you lead them out of the cave and into the brightness.
You wished it was as easy as that but the Wendigo appeared from nowhere. The sound of its growls was deafening and it unnerved you to hear him chasing after you.
Itâll all be okay, you spoke to yourself as you listened to both the growls and the screams attacking you from all sides.
âGet behind me!â Sam spoke, as he covered you all with his width. You looked as the Wendigo closed in on you.Â
Well, I guess I am dying in a cave you muttered shutting your eyes tight. What even was your life right now?
You opened your eyes to face your killer and its gargantuan frame glared back. The off-grey skin covered in sparse white hairs seemed only fitting for this crooked nose monster. It was horrific, everything about it. But you stared. There was no way you werenât facing it in your last moments.
âHey!â Dean screamed, causing it to turn around only to be greeted with flare. It burned inside of it, melting it to the ground as it cried out in agony. In the end, there was nothing left, just a heap of flames on the ground.
âNot bad, huh?â Dean smiled, plaguing the rest of you with a smile too.
âNot bad at all.â You grinned shaking your head at him.
____
You were sat at the steps on the information cabin at the Ridge, staring off into space. Youâd just spoken to the local police about the 900-pound grizzly youâd faced that had terrorised your camp and killed a member of your group. It was complete shit, but as if the police force would actually believe you.
âHey,â Dean whispered, saddling up beside you. âIâm sorry about earlier.â
âDonât be. Youâve saved my life twice now.â You smirked up at him. âWhatever can I do to repay my knight in shining armour?â
âI could think of a few things.â He smirked back as you rested your head on his shoulder.
âTruly though, I am sorry.â He spoke, placing an arm around you. âI didnât mean to be a dick and I hurt you.â
âItâs okay, Dean. I forgive you.â You replied, leaning into him.
âOh, and I heard what you called out when I ran to get Roy.âÂ
âI didnât say anything.â You replied, blushing.
âMhmm. Youâre cute.â He laughed, although it came out as a whisper, almost as if he didnât want you to hear.
A smile swarmed across your face.
You wanted to say more. About how much it meant to you to be back with them, how much you loved being around him, and what you actually felt about him, even if you didnât know what it fully was yet. But you couldnât, so you just closed your eyes, snuggled into him more and felt his arm tighten around you.
____
You watched Haley and her brother drive away in the back of an Ambulance with Tommy. You were perched in between Sam and Dean with a police blanket wrapped around you.
âMan, I hate camping,â Dean muttered, as you all watched the vehicle drive away.
âMe too,â Sam replied.
âMe fucking three.â You sighed, wrapping the blanket tighter, the boys laughing as you did so.
âHey, Sam, you know weâre going to find Dad right?â Dean spoke after listening to multiple sighs coming from Samâs direction.
âYeah, I know.â He responded. âBut in the meantime, Iâm driving.â
âOoohh, this just got good.â You laughed. âShotgun!â
âWait, not fair.â Dean protested.
âSorry Dean, but she did call shotgun.â
Dean fished into his pocket, producing the keys before throwing them over to Sam. He looked so heartbroken.
âPoor baby.â You said as you ruffled his hair and clamoured into the passenger seat.
You could see the worry radiating off of him as he got into the very back of the Impala and stretched his legs over the seat.
âItâs fine. Itâs fine.â He tried to convince himself, closing his eyes as he did so.
You saw your window of opportunity and moved the blanket off you and draped it over him as he lied down.
âGoodnight little baby.â You whispered, hearing Sam laugh and Dean trying to cover his own amusement.
A/N: Hey guys, it has been a while⌠but Iâm back! With something a little different. Unfortunately, I donât have a copy of Supernatural anymore and therefore I cannot continue writing the rewrite for a while. However, with a prompt from @spn-imagines-nation , I wrote a short little imagine. Itâs not the best Iâve done, but let me know if you wonât a part two because it can easily be continued. Also, itâs kinda short.Â
~ Dean x Reader ~
Warnings: Swearing, angsty
Word Count: 1109
Prompt:Â âYou and your ex, Dean, meeting again in a bar after a year without any single news about each otherâ
Christmas is always the worst time for you. No family, no friends, nothing. All you could do was waste the minutes at your local bar. And so you were sat, drinking the Eve away.
âAnother one, [y/n]? Something different?â The bartender asked, noticing you swirling the tiny drop of the cocktail you had left. Normally you would have rum or something of the kind, but it was Christmas so you decided to splash out on a berry mojito.
âYeah, something different.â You responded, looking up. âAs long as itâs cheaper than the first one.â
âAnything for a regular.â He replied, before scurrying off to mix up another concoction.
You downed the last drop and placed the glass back on the table, before you were handed another one.
âPut that on my tab.â You heard a familiar voice speak.
You whipped your head around quickly. Dean. Fucking Dean. The guy who walked out on you a year ago, without one call, or one text.
âI can pay for it myself, dick.â
âShit.â He whispered.
âYeah. It was shit.â
âWhat?â He acknowledged.
âOh you know, you leaving me, a year ago, at Christmas Eve. Oh shit, thatâs today. Happy dump day!â You laughed before clinking your glass into his.
His face was priceless. Pure shock and regret flooded him.
â[y/n]... look, Iâm sorry. I didnât realise it was you.â
âI havenât changed, Dean.â
âYour taste in drink has.â He smiled, pointing down to the strawberry gin and tonic that was sat in front of you.
âItâs Christmas.â
âRight.â
âWhat brings you into town then.â You asked, gulping down the G&T.
âYou.â
You scoffed, choking slightly on your drink.
âSure. You just said a minute ago, you didnât realise it was me.â
âI lied.â
âYeah, you tend to do that.â
â[y/n]...â He whispered softly, placing a hand on your forearm.
âDean⌠kindly fuck off.â You replied, brushing his hand off you.
âPlease just listen to me.â
âNo. If you wonât leave I will. Donât forget to pay the bill.â You got up swiftly, chugging the last of your drink, and began to walk off. âSee you next year.â
Typical, you thought, as you walked out of the bar door. He has to ruin every Christmas. You were completely and utterly in love with that man, and he left. You shouldâve recognised the signs: not telling you where he was going, lying constantly, bailing out, disappearing for weeks. You couldnât see through that, however. He was yours, and you felt like the luckiest person. That changed. Now you can see him for how he really is. Selfish, unfaithful, and greedy.
You closed your coat around you tighter, as you walked through the breeze, your nose reddening by the second.
â[y/n], [y/n]!â Dean shouted, from behind you.
You kept walking, but he soon caught up.
âDamn your long ass bow legs.â You whispered, luckily he didnât hear.
He slowed down in front of you, forcing you to stop.
âWhat, Dean? Did you not have anyone else to chat up?â
â[y/n], please. Can you just listen to me? I didnât mean to hurt you.â
âI bet you say that to all the women.â
âNo I donât. Iâve never actually loved any other woman. Iâve only loved you.â
That melted you a little, which annoyed you. You had spent so long getting over him, but it was clear you hadnât. Â
âDean, you donât usually walk out on the people you love. No text, no call, no note. Fucking nothing.â You started shouting. âYou know how long I fucking waited. 4 weeks, until I realised you weren't going to show up. I guessed you had left for a bit longer than you usually had. 4 weeks, I spent trying to contact you, worrying so badly about you. All that time, all this year actually, you couldnât even by fucked to text me. Absolute nothing.â
â[y/n]...â
âNo shut up. Stop saying my name, Dean. I tried to get over you, I was in love with you. To be honest, I still think I am. You were my everything, Dean. Ask literally anyone. You broke me, with no explanation. So go to fucking hell.â
âLet me explain.â He spoke, standing closer to you. His eyes looking down on you. âPlease⌠I need to explain. You can walk out after, you can never talk to me again and I promise I wonât pop up in your life again, but I need to explain why to you.â
âFine.â You shrugged, backing away from him, and sitting down on the bench outside the bar. âGo on then explain.â
âFirst of all, Iâm sorry. Iâm sorry for the way everything turned out. But I promise you, every single second together I couldnât stop thinking about you. Honestly, every single second now, I think about you. I canât get you out of my head, and thatâs never happened with a girl before. [Y/n], I love you, and Iâm in love with you, and I tried to get you out of my head, but I canât. I messed everything up, and I canât change it now. I didnât want to hurt you, but you being in my life meant youâd get hurt. Every person thatâs been in my life has gotten hurt because of me.â
âDean, what are you talking about? You left me so you wouldnât hurt me? What?â
âMy work is well⌠er⌠itâs dangerous and I didnât want you to get hurt. I left to protect you, but I couldnât stop thinking about it, and well I saw you the other week and I couldnât leave without you.â
âOh, so youâre stalking me now? Also, youâre an accountant⌠I didnât realise that was a dangerous job.â
âNo, [y/n], I wasn't stalking you. I was in the area on a case, and Iâm not an accountant. I just said that because I didnât want you to know what I actually did.â
nâDean⌠what the fuck do you do?â You face screwed up in confusion.
âIâm a hunter.â He replied hesitantly.
âYou have to be kidding me. You shoot deer⌠wow, you left me because of that.â
âNo⌠I hunt⌠monsters.â
âMonsters?â You began to laugh. âYou know you could just tell me the real reason.â
âThat is the real reason. I can show you. Come with me on a case, youâll see that Iâm not insane. Itâs the best way to explain myself.â
âWell, that sounds like a great way to get kidnapped by a psycho.â
âIâm not a psycho.â He spoke. â[y/n], please.â
âFine.â You sighed. âYou have a day.â
Let me know if you would like a second part, and if you want to be added to my SPN imagines taglist. Also, please give request, I would love to write prompts that you send me.
Hereâs a link to my SPN rewrite that you can read in the meantime.
Hey! I was just wondering if you were planning on continuing your story. I love it. You are an awesome writer. I donât want you to feel rushed or upset you or anything. Thatâs the last thing I want to do. Iâm just a really big fan, and wanted to know if you are planning to write more.
~ this is a little update for everyone but more specifically for @ilovetoread44 ~
Hi! Sorry for the late reply! Iâm so glad youâre enjoying reading it. Iâve been very busy currently but started writing the fifth part yesterday so Iâm hoping within the next week I can manage to get it up for you. I plan to continue but I just struggle to find time, so donât worry about feeling like youâve rushed me -- sometimes I need a reminder.Â

Episode One
Wendigo : Part One   Part Two   Part Three
âAlright. Listen up!â Sam begun, nudging past you as he walked into the centre of the circle. Dean wasnât far behind him, you could see his feet in your peripheral vision, but you didnât raise you head to make eye contact with him.
Dean was really bothering you at the moment. It seemed like everything you did or said was annoying him, even if you hadnât done anything at all. Of course you knew that you had been winding him up on occasion but when he did it back it just made you feel stupid. Especially, him joking about you being scared. You knew he was winding you up, but the fact you were new to this and absolutely scared shitless with the inability to hide it, it was a step too far. He was used to hunting âthingsâ and lying his way through everything, but you werenât. The prospect of death scared you. A lot. You told yourself not to worry about it, you knew in the back of your mind he was just looking out for you⌠but you hated feeling stupid and scared so him laughing about it didnât make you feel great.
âJesus, [y/n], youâre so dramatic. Pull yourself together.â You muttered to yourself, before looking up at Sam who was just about to speak again.
âKid, donât worry. Whateverâs out there, I think I can handle it.â Roy spoke, drowning out her voice.
You rolled your eyes. You might be dramatic but at least you werenât cocky.
âItâs not me Iâm worried about.â Sam replied, turning to face him. âIf you shoot this thing, youâre gonna make it mad. We have to leave⌠now.â
âOne, youâre talking nonsense, two⌠youâre in no position to give anybody orders.â
âRelax.â Dean interrupted.
âWe never shouldâve let you come out in the first place, alright.â Sam spoke back to Roy. âIâm trying to protect you.â
âYou, protect me?â Roy scoffed.
âOi, dickface⌠just listen to him, okay, be cocky later.â You spoke, sighing.
âListen⌠I was hunting these woods when your mommy was still kissing you good night.â Roy replied angrily and began to square up to Sam.
âOh yeah? Itâs a damn-near-perfect hunter. Itâs smarter than you. And itâs gonna hunt you down and eat you alive unless we get your stupid sorry ass out of here.â
You couldnât help but smile at that. Sam standing up to Roy was the greatest thing youâd seen all day. However, Roy didnât seem to take the threat seriously though, and immediately laughed in Samâs face.
âYou know youâre crazy, right?â
âYeah?â Sam replied, his voice rising. âYou ever hunt a wen--â
âChill out!â Dean shouting, pushing Sam away from Roy. You hadnât seen him walk up next to them so he must have done a little jog.
You began to walk over to the boys, shoving Roy a little who was still laughing. You refrained from saying anything to him though so you were quite proud of yourself.
âStop!â Hailey spoke loudly, walking into the divide. âStop it. Everybody just stop. Look. Tommy might still be alive. And Iâm not leaving here without him.â
âItâs getting late.â Dean spoke, looking back at Hailey. âThis thing is a good hunter in the day but an unbelievable hunter at night.â
Your eyes widened. Great, so now weâre staying in the forest overnight in the dark, trying to hide from something thatâs gonna kill us, you spoke to yourself. This was something youâd never get used to⌠the constant feeling of being scared and the knots that were twisting up inside your stomach.
âWeâll never beat it, not in the dark. We need to settle in and protect ourselves.â
âHow?â Hailey asked and for once it was the same question you had.
~~~
It had suddenly got dark very quickly and you werenât going to lie, you were terrified. Dean had drew out multiple symbols on the floor, that he had told you the name of but you couldnât really remember because every thought going through your head had been consumed by the idea that you were going to die. Apart from him telling you the name of the symbols, he hadnât said anything else to you. You supposed it was because he was still pissed off but wanted you to learn more about how to defend yourself against monsters. Which is fair enough, but you did hate not speaking to him or even looking him directly in the eye. You were still mad, but you did also think that the ignoring each other and that whole fight in general was a bit dramatic. However, you arenât one to apologize.
You sighed to yourself, as you sat on a seperate log by yourself that was situated next to Hailey and her brotherâs. She was poking the fire and you watched as the sparks flew up and danced in the air. You felt so out of place and you hated it. The thing was⌠you couldnât even wish to be back at âhomeâ because you hated every second you spent in that place. All you wanted to be doing was sitting next to Dean, looping your arm through his as a way to calm yourself down. Holding him made your worries disappear and that was the worst thing about ignoring his existence. It meant you couldnât ignore your thoughts.
âOne more time⌠thatâs?â Hailey asked, knocking you back into reality.
âAnasazi symbols.â Dean replied, and you watched as he crouched down in front of the fire and began to draw another one.
You were going say something sarcastic but you thought against it, you didnât want to make it worse.
âItâs for protection.â Dean continued. âThe Wendigo canât cross over them.â
The sound of the branch scraping across the leaf-strewn ground was then interrupted by the irritating sound in the form of a laugh from Roy.
âNobody like a skeptic, Roy.â Dean spoke as you glared at the ranger.
That man really did piss you off, but like before, you kept your mouth shut and looked down at your hands when you noticed Dean turning around. You didnât know if he had looked at you, but you highly doubted it as you saw his feet side step past you and walk off.
You kept your eyes glued to the floor for a couple seconds before looking behind you and seeing Dean sit down next to his brother who clearly wasn't doing the greatest. You could tell because of how angry he seemed these past days. You didnât know him that well yet, but even when he was younger he never got mad at anything and it hurt to see him feel this way. It was understandable though and all you could do was support him through it⌠which would wait until Dean had left the scene.
You could tell they were talking about something family related, once you saw Dean whip out his fatherâs book and then decided it was probably best you look away. You didnât want to get involved in the familyâs problems⌠not until you knew them more. After a while, you turned back around and noticed Dean stand up and pat Sam on the shoulder. Now was your chance to try and help Sam, so you stood up slowly and walked over to him as Dean walked back towards you.
âDonât say anything stupid.â Dean whispered to you, not even giving you eye contact, as he walked past.
You didnât say anything back as you felt the knots in your stomach tightened up more. You tried to bury them as you approached Sam, even though it was the worst youâd felt in a long time. You breathed in deeply for a few seconds, before perching on the log next to Sam and nudging him slightly.
âYou good?â You asked, looking over at him.
âYeah.â He sighed in response.
âYou know itâs okay not to be, right?â
âI know.â
âLook, you donât have to tell me anything, okay? I know this month is the first time Iâve seen you in like eight years, but, I just want you to know that you can. I mean you probably donât want to, but the offer is there⌠because I know brothers can be annoying to talk to sometimes.â
He didnât replied, but laughed slightly at the last sentence, which made you smile. You continued to look at him for a few seconds before slowly standing up, but his arm reached out and gripped yours pulling you back down.
âItâs just Jessica, dad not being here and the endless cycle he puts us in. I just want to find him⌠I donât want to be in the middle of the woods, hunting a Wendigo when I could be killing whatever killed Jessica.â He spoke softly, his voice cracking near the end.
âThatâs understandable, Sammy, and I promise you will find your dad and heâll help you find whatever killed Jessica. It takes time. Right now, although itâs not your first priority, helping these people find their sibling and saving them from whatever this monster is, is what we have to focus on. Even saving Roy.â You joked, which earned a slight laugh. âWe need you Sam. A lot⌠because I have no idea what Iâm doing. But I promise that in every way I can, Iâll help⌠especially helping you find Jessicaâs killer. Neighbour to neighbour?â You asked, holding out your pinky.
Sam looked over at you, before weakly smiling and interlocking your pinky with his.
âNeighbour to neighbour.â He spoke, shaking your pinky, before releasing your hand and pulling you into a hug.
âIâm glad youâre here, [y/n].â He spoke, the noise muffled by your hair.
âIâm glad Iâm here too. Especially with you guys.â You spoke, smiling the largest smile you ever have and feeling the knots in your stomach loosen.
However, the nervousness in your stomach began to tangle up again as you heard a man scream out âhelp meâ from nearby and felt Sam immediately let go of you and run over to Dean. You followed and stood by Samâs side, watching everyone get ready to fight whatever was out there as the screams continued.
You moved even closer to Sam as he looked around and you heard Deanâs gun cock. You were putting on a brave face for everyone, or trying to at least, but you couldnât deal with this panic. It was like living a real life nightmare. You shouldnât have chosen to go with them, were the words that kept repeating again and again in your head but you pushed them back down because despite being scared shitless and arguing with Dean, this was the happiest youâd been in a long time and you wouldnât give that up now to go back to working behind a desk.
âItâs trying to draw us out.â Dean spoke, not turning around to face the group. âJust stay cool. Stay put.â
âInside the magic circle?â Roy asked, gripping his gun tightly.
The screams kept getting louder and to add on top of this, screeches from the Wendigo could be heard. You shuddered as they got louder and involuntarily you grabbed onto Sam.
âIâm sorry.â You whispered, immediately releasing your grasp from his arm.
âYou okay?â Sam whispered back.
âYeah, of course. Just made me jump a little thatâs all.â You lied.
You then decided to move away from Sam. You didnât want to bother him and even though Sam made you feel safe, grabbing onto his arm didnât bring you the comfort that grabbing onto Deanâs did. It seemed strange but when you grabbed Deanâs jacket, you immediately felt the worries wash away from you⌠and that didnât happen with Sam. Ugh, why did Dean have to hate you? Why do you care so much, [y/n]? You asked yourself, until your thoughts were broken by another scream.
âOkay, thatâs no grizzly.â Roy spoke, worry intertwined into his voice.
âItâs okay. Weâll be alright. I promise.â Hailey spoke, pushing her brother onto one of the logs. She was trying to remain calm, but that facade broke when she heard another scream and reacted with one of her own.
âItâs here.â Dean spoke.
You didnât know what was happening, your brain was all jumbled up and you couldnât make sense of what was going on. Sam, Dean and Roy were all surveying the area with their guns held high and you were just stood in the middle, looking back and forth, trying to focus on your breathing to make sure your heart didnât escape from your chest.
âYouâll get used to this at some point, [y/n].â You whispered to yourself. âDonât let Dean see you like this, heâll only tease you for it.â
You winced and covered your ears as the first bullet went off. So much for not letting Dean see you like this. It was then followed by two more bullets and a pained shriek from what you assumed was the Wendigo.
âI hit it!â Roy yelled, before running off into the bushes and out of sight.
âRoy, no!â Dean screamed after him, but there was no response. âRoy! Donât move.â
Dean pointed back at you, Sam, Hailey and her brother and ran off into the woods after Roy.
âNo! Dean, donât!â You screamed after him, and ran a bit too before Sam grabbed your arm and pulled up back into him.
â[y/n], heâll be fine.â Sam whispered to you, as you removed yourself from his grasp.
Although Dean had been really annoying this past day, thinking about how he could get mauled by a Wendigo and that you might never see him again got to you and you felt like you needed to go after him. It made no sense because he could take care of himself, but it felt like he needed protection. You scoffed at yourself. Heâs Dean fucking Winchester [y/n], why would he need your protection?
âStay here.â Sam spoke again, louder this time before rushing off to Dean. You listened to him because you knew you couldnât help and plus you didnât want to leave Hailey and her brother alone, even though they were more mentally put together than you.
âItâll all be alright⌠everything's just fine.â You reassured them, but it was mostly just to reassure yourself.
You weakly smiled at both of them, before joining them in their huddle that was protected by Hailey who was holding out a torch she made from the fire.
âEverythingâs gonna be just fine.â You whispered.
~~~
It was the next day now and you couldnât help but feel a little relieved that you had survived the night. This thing was, Roy didnât. Sam and Dean came back yesterday with the news that Roy had been taken by the Wendigo. It didnât feel real⌠it didnât seem like that couldâve possibly happened, but it hit you hard because it just meant that this thing could come for you too.
You sat next to the ripped tent, playing with the loose threads and occasionally looking over at Sam who was leant against a log twiddling his fatherâs book in his hand. He looked so lost and you hated it. As for Dean, he didnât even bat an eyelid at what happened, but to be fair he was used to it. Heâd done it since he was a child, which you couldnât even imagine. He still hadnât talk to you. Guess he was a fan of petty fights. But to be fair to him, you hadnât tried either. Mostly just because you didnât want to say anything that would hurt your relationship with him more. You knew he had heard you call after him when he ran after Roy last night, but neither of you were going to bring it up.
âI donâtâŚâ Hailey began. âI mean, these types of things, they arenât supposed to be real.â
âI wish I could tell you different.â Dean replied, trailing his hand against the claw marks that were etched into a nearby tree.
âHow do we know itâs not out there watching us?â
âWe donât.â Dean replied, in the ânot a care in the worldâ voice he does so well. âBut weâre safe for now.â
âHow do you know about this stuff?â Hailey asked him and you watched her lean in slightly.
That annoyed you a little, but you couldnât really do anything. Especially when you didnât fully understand why it bothered you so much.
âIt kind of runs in the family.â He replied, before walking over and perching down next to you⌠which was a shock.
âYou okay?â He questioned, watching you play with the threads and then at Sam who had walked over to Hailey.
âYeah, Iâm good.â You responded, weakly smiling up at him.
His eyes were gleaming with sincere worry and you couldnât help but stare at them. Ugh, this boy! You groaned at yourself because forcing yourself to look away.
âLook, Iâm sorry about last night.â He sighed, nudging you slightly.
âDonât be. It was as much my fault as it was yours. Iâm just scared, Iâm really not used to this Dean.â You responded, looking back up at him.
âI know.â
âDo you hate me, Dean?â you asked sincerely, moving your whole body to face him.
âHate you? Of course not.â He replied, confusion plastered on his face.
âThen why do you always have a go at me. Like every time I do something, itâs like âno, donât do that, you could ruin everythingâ or âdo that again and a demon will kill you.â You also always say jokes but it feels like youâre not even joking and I donât know, I just get worried you regret asking me to join you guys.â You looked down at the ground again, you didnât want to meet his eyes.
âY/NâŚâ He started, pulling your chin up so he could make eye contact, which you couldnât lie made your stomach squirm. âI just donât want you getting hurt. You have no idea about the life we lead and the monsters that are out there and I couldnât deal with it, if I was the one that let that happen. I donât regret asking you, we like you here, even if I tease you all the time.â
âMe too. Your pettiness entertains me⌠most of the time.â You laughed.
âGood. Now stop being stupid and give me a hug.â Dean smiled, pulling you up into a standing position and then into his embrace. He squeezed tightly, but not enough to restrict your breathing, and you wrapped your arms around his back as you breathed in his scent. In that moment, your worries vanished, you couldnât help but smile and you began to think about how youâd never be more comfy than you were now.
âI for one... wanna kill this evil son of a bitch.â Sam spoke, as you broke away from your hug.
âWell, hell, you know Iâm in.â Dean smiled, as you both turned to face his brother.
âMe too.â You spoke. âLemme find my bat.â
â[y/n], itâs still in the hotel room.â Dean replied, laughing slightly.
âRight⌠well remind me to take it out of the hotel room next time and bring it with me. Now Sam, whip out the book and start teaching.â
After that hug with Dean, you were instantly in a better mood and you felt like you could destroy anything. Even a Wendigo⌠even if you didnât really know what it was.
âOkay.â Sam chuckled slightly.
âI prefer the chatty [y/n].â Dean whispered to you as you all huddled up in a group by Sam and his fatherâs journal. You couldnât help but smile when you saw him grinning down at you.
âWendigo is a Cree Indian word. It means, âevil that devoursâ.â Sam began.
âTheyâre hundreds of years old. Each one was once a man, sometimes an Indian or other times a frontiersman or a miner or hunter.â Dean added, as Sam put the journal away and the huddle broke slightly.
âHowâs a man turn into one of those things?â Hailey asked.
âYeah.â You agreed. âLike, Iâm assuming it doesnât happen overnight.â
âWell, itâs always the same. During some harsh winter a guy finds himself starving, cut off from supplies or help⌠becomes a cannibal to survive eating other members of his tribe or camp.â
âLike the Donner Party.â Ben added.
âCultures all over the world believe that eating human flesh gives a person certain abilities speed, strength, immortality.â Sam continued.
âIf you eat enough of it over years, you become this⌠less-than-human thing. Youâre always hungry.â Dean spoke, moving to stand by Samâs side.
âSo, if thatâs true, how can Tommy still be alive?â Hailey asked.
âYouâre not gonna like it.â Dean replied.
âTell me.â Hailey demanded.
âMore than anything a wendigo knows how to last long winters without food. It hibernates for years at a time. When itâs awake⌠it keeps its victims alive. It⌠stores them⌠so it can feed whenever it wants. If your brotherâs alive⌠itâs keeping him somewhere dark, hidden and safe. And we gotta track it back there.â Dean answered.
âAnd then how do we stop it?â
âWell⌠guns are useless. So are knives.â
âI guess bats too huh?â You asked jokingly.
âIndeed. So now it doesnât matter that you forgot yours.â Dean answered. âBasically⌠we gotta torch the sucker.â
âShouldnât be too hard then.â You sighed, rubbing your eyes. âLetâs get to work.â

Episode One
Wendigo : Part One   Part Two
âThis is it.â Roy spoke, stopping in the middle of the path just before a clearing. âBlackwater Ridge.â
Your M&M count had dwindled due to the fact you had been walking for another hour and your feet were beyond killing you. You were thankful that everyone had now stopped because you hated the fact that you were so far behind everyone and this gave you a chance to catch up.
âWhat coordinates are we at?â Sam asked, surveying the area, as you stopped next to Hailey.
â35 and minus 111.â Roy replied, after checking his GPS.
Dean then began walking over to Sam and the rest huddled together, so you decided to go over to the Winchester brothers as they started to talk.
âYou hear that?â Dean asked, as you came up beside him.
âYeah.â Sam responded, sighing.
âWhat?â You said, scrunching up your eyebrows in confusion. âAm I going deaf or something?â
âNo.â Dean replied, laughing.
âThereâs nothing. Not even crickets.â Sam said, surveying the area again.
âIâm going to take a look around.â Roy spoke, breaking the silence that apparently meant something.
âYou shouldnât go off by yourself.â Sam replied, looking over his shoulder at him.
A cocky smile appeared on Royâs face and it immediately made you want to punch it. Jesus, you hated this guy so much. Remain calm [y/n], you repeated to yourself as a way to bury the thought of slapping him that you had appeared in your mind.
âThatâs sweet. Donât worry about me.â Roy replied, still smirking.
âOh, weâre not, dickface⌠weâre worried youâll lose the GPS.â You replied, glaring at him.
âExcuse me?â He replied, dropping the smirk and slowly advancing towards you.
You stayed still because despite him holding a massive gun, you werenât really scared of him. You also knew that Sam and Dean wouldnât let him hurt you so that was always a bonus.
âLet me summarise: donât lose the GPS, dickface.â You responded, still maintaining eye contact.
He walked towards you more before Sam placed a hand on his chest and gently pushed him back. Dean then stepped in front of him, blocking you for his sight.
âJust go look around, Roy.â Dean spoke slowly.
You didnât see the face Roy pulled but you could tell it wasnât a happy one. Dean then moved out of the way and Roy pushed past both of the boys and stopped just in front of you.
âIâm not done with you.â He replied, his face screwing up in anger.
You just laughed and then elaborately place your hands in the direction he was headed. âOnwards, Ranger Roy.â
He glared at you once more before going on his way. You began laughing to yourself and shaking your head before suddenly being pulled around to face Dean.
â[y/n], quit it!â He said, gripping your shoulders tightly.
âWhatâŚ?â You replied, knowing full well you were just winding Roy up for the sake of winding him up.
âYeah, heâs a dick or dickface, whatever you put it as, but just drop it ok?â He replied, still gripping on tightly.
âJesus. Ok⌠dad.â You rolled your eyes.
You knew you were acting like a 5 year old, but that was what happened when someone had pissed you off and you didnât want to get into a physical fight.
He raised his eyebrows in response.
âWhat?â You screwed your face up in confusion and he raised his eyebrows up again. âIâm not apologisingâŚâ
You raised your eyebrows up as well before wiggling from his grip and walking over to Sam, who laughed as got to his side.
âHe went full on dad modeâŚâ He laughed, watching Dean walk over to Hailey.
Of course he was going to Hailey!
âYeahâŚâ You shrugged, laughing, pretending it didnât bother you at all.
You couldnât really work out Dean⌠it seemed like one minute he liked you, laughed at all your jokes and gave you reassuring smiles and glances but the next he seemed to want to exile you to a different country so you couldnât bother him again. It did bug you a little bit and you knew you shouldnât be so pedantic and annoying all the time, but something you just couldnât help it. Especially when you were mad.
You sighed as you watched Dean walk in front of everyone and down the path that Roy had just gone down, before following him and walking alongside Sam, who took a lot bigger strides than you. You had to run slightly just to keep up, but luckily you soon reached another clearly and stopped to survey the area. It was similar to the other one, just now with a lot less trees.
You loved forests normally, the pine scent, the crunch underfoot as you stepped over the fallen leaves and twigs, the serenity of the place, but this was a forest you didnât like. You knew a lot of people were scared of forests and you had never really understood why but now you knew there was something dangerous hidden between these trees made you fully understand the dislike people had for places like this.
âHailey! Over here!â Roy shouted from a distance, breaking you thoughts up.
Everyone began to bolt over to the voice of Roy and for fear of being left behind in this death trap, you did the same. Luckily, Roy hadnât gone far so you didnât need to sprint for that long, but when you arrived your stomach began to flip over and over again.
The same familiar feeling of sickness washed over you and your heart began beating quicker. You began to think you would never get used to this feeling, as you clutched your stomach tightly. It wasnât even your family that had gone missing, why were you feeling like this?
You closed for eyes for a second before opening them again, to see the same scene. A ripped tent, collapsed in a small clearing, with food strewn across the forest floor. Everything was broken, ripped and torn and no person was in sight and there was blood splattered across the tent covering.
âLooks like a grizzly.â Roy spoke, moving to the side of Hailey and her brother, Ben.
You released your hands from your stomach and scooched over to Dean slightly. You werenât going to grab his jacket, but you wanted him to be there just in case you needed to. Youâre such a wuss, you said to yourself before deciding to move further away from Dean.
âYou okay?â He asked quietly, noticing you side-stepping.
You murmured a yes in response, but didnât look at him. You did wanna grab his jacket, like a lot, but you knew this wasnât the worst thing you would see today, so you wanted to act someone brave.
You didnât really know why it was making you feel like this, it was probably to do with the fact that you knew Haileyâs brother and his friends wouldâve been taken by a monster. It was the fact that you knew the blood splatters were the result of the monster and you knew that you were going to fight this monster. Thatâs why you felt like that.
âTommy?â Hailey asked softly, unclipping her bag and dumping it on the ground.
Everyone else was walking around the debris, trying to find something and you were now doing the same.
âTommy!â She shouted, walking around the tents. âTommy!!â
âShhh.â Sam spoke, walking over to her with his quick strides.
âWhy?â She asked quietly.
âSomething might still be out there.â Sam replied.
âSam! [y/n]!â Dean shouted and you spun around. To your surprise he wasnât there so along with Sam you ran over to the place his voice had come from.
âThe bodies were dragged from the campsite.â Dean continued, as you both crouched down beside Dean. âBut here, the tracks just vanish.â
You stood up quickly, which caused a wave of nausea to wash over you. You were beginning to think more and more that you werenât cut out to do this and that you should just go home and start again⌠this time without demons.
âItâs weird. Iâll tell you what⌠itâs no skin walker or blackdog.â Dean spoke, standing up next to you.
âThatâs good isnât it?â You sighed, turning to him.
âWell if it isnât them, itâs something else and it looks a lot worse.â Dean responded, before turning away and walking back to the rest of the camp.
Sam smiled at you apologetically before doing the same.
âGreat. Something worse. Thatâs just what I need after hiking all day.â You muttered to yourself before turning on your heels and running over to Dean and Sam who were basically already back with everyone else.
By the time you returned, Hailey had melted into a pool on the floor, tears flooding her eyes, before picking up a bloodied phone that you assumed was her brothers. Dean immediately walked over to her, and this time you didnât care⌠she needed someone and she didnât like you so there wasnât much you could do except offer a sweet smile if she ever turned round to look back at you.
âDo you think her brother is actually ok?â You asked Sam.
âI donât know. I hope so.â Sam replied, looking over at Hailey.
âMe t-â
âHELP!â A voice bellowed from the other side of the forest.
You all turned around in the direction of the sound of the scream.
âThat did not sound good. That did not sound good at all.â You whispered to yourself, silently wishing you could hold onto Deanâs jacket, but he was too far away.
The screams continued, and your stomach began to feel more and more sick with each shriek. Dean and Hailey immediately rushed off and you followed as Sam ran alongside them. Your legs hurt from all the hiking but you ran anyway, not wanting to be left alone in hellish place and also because you actually wanted to help.
You felt like you were really the most helpful person that the Winchesters could have ever had and you felt like you needed to prove that you were able to be a good hunter⌠even though the feeling of nausea that was washing over you made you feel like that was not possible. Nevertheless, you persevered and smashed through the branches and leaves that hit your face as you ran. You had taken your hair down earlier so that was an extra problem because it whirled around in front of your face.
âShit.â You shouted as quietly as you could after ploughing straight into something. That something probably being a tree.
You clutched your head that hurt slightly, and moved the hair from your eyes to see a mad Dean staring down at you. It wasnât a tree. It was Dean. Shit.
â[y/n], this is serious, stop messing around.â He spoke, stern faced.
âIâm not messing about. I didnât realise you had stopped and I couldnât see because of my hair.â You replied, slightly embarrassed, before noticing his gun was pointed at your stomach. âDean?â
âYeah?â He responded, sighing.
âI know itâs a stressful, worrying and scary time⌠Iâm not gonna lie Iâm crapping myself⌠but could you please not point that gun at my stomach?â
âOh shit, sorry.â He whispered, looking down at the gun before turning around to face the direction everyone else was looking.
You smirked slightly and then stopped because it didnât really seem like the time. Everything was so silent and still, like this forest wasnât capable of such sounds.
âIt seemed like it was coming from around here, didnât it?â Hailey asked.
Nobody responded, as you all looked around intently. The wind had started to pick up and it sent an unnerving shiver down your spine. You didnât like this one bit, but you had to try to be brave at least⌠even though every ounce of your being wanted to reach out and grab Deanâs arm to transfer your nerves to him. You knew that as soon as you touched him, your nerves would calm and you would begin to feel safe.
âEverybody back to camp.â Sam shouted suddenly, causing you to immediately look over at him, before he began to bolt back to where you had just come from.
âWhat?â You muttered, utterly confused before Dean grabbed your arm and pulled you alongside him as he ran back. âStop dragging me.â
â[y/n], just shut up.â Dean muttered, coming to a halk back at the original camp.
A space that was once cluttered with your backpacks, was now empty, with only splatters of blood dusting the ground.
âOur packs!â Hailey sighed.
Pointing out the obvious much? You rolled your eyes⌠did she not realise that you were all seeing the same thing? Maybe you were a little jealous, you thought to yourself as you watched Dean walk to her side. You only seemed to dislike her when Dean was by her side but that was just because maybe you wished that Dean would stay by your side, not drag you around like his little sister and leave you alone to cozy up with the cute girl he just met. Although, you didnât expect any less from Dean⌠he seemed to be the kind of guy that would do that. Or maybe he just wanted to help her. Either way, him dragging you about and being sweet to her made you slightly annoyed and drowned you in jealousy.
âSo much for my GPS and satellite phone.â Roy whispered, kneeling down.
âWhat the hellâs going on?â Hailey shouted out.
âLike we know!â You scoffed quietly. Apparently not quietly enough though, as she whipped her head around and glared.
â[y/n], calm down.â Dean spoke, his voice lowering with seriousness as he got in between you and Hailey and turned you around.
âIâm chill, Dean, let go of me.â You spoke, staring up at him.
âItâs smart, it wants to cut us off, so we canât call for help.â Sam spoke.
âSo I guess we do know.â You awkwardly laughed, raising your eyebrows over at Hailey, who at this point was just ignoring you.
âYou mean someone, some nut job out there, just stole all our gear.â Roy responded.
âNot a nut job exactlyâŚâ You replied, walking away from Dean and over to Sam.
â[y/n], can you be quiet for like a second, maybe?â Dean spoke, watching you move closer to Sam.
âIâm sorry, what was that, Dean?â You swivelled back around to face Dean.
Dean just raised his eyebrows at you before you felt yourself being pushed by Sam back to Dean. You sighed as you knocked into Deanâs arm, your head bumping into his shoulder.
âYou guys need to stop.â
âStop what?â Dean responded, glaring at Sam.
âStop being childish.â
âWeâre not being childish⌠she is.â Dean said as he nudged you.
âFuck off, Dean.â You rolled your eyes, moving away from him slightly.
You didnât really know what Sam was on about, because you hadnât really done anything childish. Actually, that was a lie. One minute you and Dean were the best of friends and the next you wanted to rip each otherâs throats out. It wasnât even arguing at this point, it was just petty comebacks and you werenât one to back down so the childish fights just escalated.
âYou want me to fuck off? How about--â
âDean shut up. [y/n], shut up. Can both of you just shut up for one second please?â Sam spoke louding, cutting Dean off. âI need to speak with you both⌠in private.â
âSam, I donât think we need to talk about me and Dean arguing right now, do we?â You asked.
âItâs not about that.â He replied, raising an eye before exchanging a worried glance with Dean.
âAh.â You spoke, glancing between both of the boys, before following them as they walked off into another clearing.
âOkay. Let me see dadâs journal.â Sam said sternly, as you entered the clearing.
Dean raised an eyebrow but removed the book from his jacket and handed it to Sam who began to flip through it wildly.
âAlright.â Sam started, stopping on a page and holding it out to Dean. You peared over Deanâs shoulder in order to get a clear view, but it just looked like a bunch of scribbles in your eyes. âCheck that out.â
âOh, come on.â Dean smirked. âWendigos are in the Minnesota woods or Northern Michigan. Iâve never heard of one this far west.â
âThink about it, Dean. The claws, the way it can mimic a human voiceâŚâ
âGreat.â Dean sighed, lowering the book. âWell, then this is useless.â He sighed once, more showing his gun to Sam.
âA wendigo? Am I even saying that right? What even is it?â You asked, grabbing the book from Dean.
âA monster known to be native to forests, that enjoys the taste of human flesh.â Dean grinned, grabbing the book back and stuffing it back into his jacket pocket.
âLovely.â You whispered, looking down at the ground.
You began to hope that one day you wouldnât feel as scared when any sort of evil creature was mentioned. But that day was not today.
âNot scared are you?â Dean smirked.
Jesus, what was his problem?
âOh no. Iâm not totally terrified of the fact I could get eaten alive by some human flesh loving monster. Go fuck yourself, Dean.â You glared at him, before walking back to the others, with Sam not far behind you.
