I really liked how the wrench turned out, it looks pretty realistic and the table really brings it together, i’m also happy that i figured out how to import jpegs via youtube. Proportions turned out nicely, I measured parts of the wrench to make it more realistic, and the lighting makes it seem like the tool is laid on a workbench. I learned how to import jpegs, which is important for later work, and how to use the extrude tool for the teeth of the other end of the wrench. I had a lot of difficulties with blender itself, it would not show the work bench/table and would only render a blank plane with colored wrench. I think i’d do just as i did, but try and figure out the plane problem sooner.
the end part of my bma sculpture was a hit, everyone liked it because it was both a surprise and well timed. The colors worked well and they camera angle was well placed as well, though I wish I had more time on it, because it was much harder to make than the wrench. The animation itself wasn't as smooth as I wanted it to be but it worked well enough and I thinks I'd change the lighting if I could.
