Face claim: none/i don’t use faceclaims
Name: Imbrus Elis Honorata Hidra
Age: Claims approximately 8 centuries, which is the truth, but generally refuses to elaborate for fear of being traced or somehow connected through Altmeri birth records.
Gender: Intersex, AFAB, FTM, identifies in meri culture as ambiguous-male or ungendered (see here)
Nationality: Altmeri
Birthplace: Karnwasten Moor, Summerset Isles
Birthday: July 20th (20th Sun’s Height)
Sun Sign: The Apprentice/Cancer

Martial Status: Single
Alignment: Chaotic good
» L I K E S
Drink: Tea, hot, with milk, no honey or sugar.
Food: Imbrus will eat almost anything if he absolutely has to, even if it’s something he hates, he’s been in too many positions with limited resources to turn down food that is available just because it tastes bad or it’s gone off. This is beneficial to him, because he is huge and generally requires a large quantity of food anyway. That said, he likes fruit a lot, and pretty much anything in a pie crust. (relatedly, he feels pretty safe in these undiscriminating eating habits when they are necessary because he almost never gets sick from food. He can eat things other people would never dare touch with basically no reaction, it’s...alarming)
Day or Night: Night
Bonbon: Creamed honey
Song: Synesthesia | Iron | The Ghost On The Shore | Autoclave | Wolf Trap Motel | Real Life (Angel) | Attack Music | Skin Is, My | music tag

Body type: Broad-shouldered, lanky and strong, with proportionately wide hips, a narrow waist, and a deep chest. Well-muscled, soft but very strong. Prone to gaining weight in winter or colder climates. Feet are in proportion to his considerable height, hands are somewhat too large, strong and wiry-feeling, with wide palms and long, sturdy fingers, very heavy if he were to shake an offered hand. Pale skin with a red undertone, lacks Altmeri gold but tends to go yellow and waxy-looking when blanched or cold. Shows evidence of some pale freckling post-burn if exposed to the sun. Really good butt, like, really excellent.
Eye colour: pink to red sclera, iris may appear bluish or pinkish depending on lighting conditions.
guys i’m really sorry, i’m not sure whether activity here is going to pick up or slow down yet, but me and a bunch of other designers were very suddenly let go at work today. it still feels very surreal to me and i don’t know what i’m going to do, please bear with me while it gets sorted out (hopefully)

Yes, although I don’t drink much of it outside it being added to other things. People use lots of goat’s milk in Skyrim. I prefer that to other kinds, so that’s…one thing they’ve got right here. Visit scenic Skyrim, it’s cold and miserable, you have an eighty percent chance of being eaten by a bear, or a sabrecat, or wolves, or a massive spider, or a dragon, but at least there’s goat’s milk!
11:Are there any foods from your homeland that others might consider “weird?”
Probably, but given the things I’ve seen other people eat there’s not much room for anyone else to talk either. Eels? Eels aren’t terribly strange, they’re just common river fish in the Isles, everyone eats them. Fish roe. All sorts of things dredged from the sea, when you’re coastal.
When I was a child a whale beached itself on the shore, which is very rare, there. People were cutting out squares of fat as thick as three people but I’m not sure it was for eating, it’s a very foggy memory. Hard, white, woody-feeling stuff, almost, nothing like anything else I’ve ever seen, not even horker or seal. I remember the meat was almost black, too, what I saw of it. I was really little and I was sure it had to be poison or cursed or sick and whatever turned the meat black was what drove the animal to the shore. Of course that’s all nonsense.
3:What edible things would you never consider eating?
I wouldn’t eat a spider if the alternative was death. I’d sooner try to eat a live dragon than a dead spider. I’d sooner try to eat a live dragon than look at a dead spider. Just bite it, right in the face, and it would all be worth it if in the end I never had to think about spiders again.
15:How do you feel about eating raw meat?
Oh, really good, actually. It’s the best way to enjoy some things. I ate lots of raw fish growing up–nobody in the Isles is terribly fond of red meat because it’s so heavy, but people see it as opulent fancy noble’s food, and eating it raw makes it seem lighter than cooked so it’s fairly common when people do eat it.
Of course you can’t do it here much, everyone just eats game all the time and you’ve got to cook that at least a little. Worms. Who knows what else. You don’t want any of the things an elk has living in its arse.
9:You have several eggs. What do you do with them?
Bird’s eggs aren’t something I’m really…terribly fond of eating, as a rule. Something where they can be sort of mitigated by something that has a nicer texture. Poached or soft-cooked in the shell, with some salt, and then used as dip for toast. Really good toast, nice crusty bread, lots of it, so I have to put as little egg as possible into my mouth at any one time.
Or maybe horrible worthless bread, because it seems like a little bit of a shame to put eggs on nice toast.
If there’s not bread, shoving as much leftover food in as possible and cooking it all up together would work. As much as possible. Actual food with a thin film of egg, really. And in that situation, why even go to the extra trouble, just eat the leftover food and throw the eggs at someone you don’t like.
((updated mod about & policies for both blogs, primarily because i remembered i’m a year older now. fixed some typos/unclear wording, added/edited a little bit of character specific info to each.
also, reconfirmed that i need a new theme, because something broke on white’s blog and now everything is bold, but at least it’s easier to read than this one. unfortunately i can’t figure out how to make the same thing happen here, the html is identical. mysterious.))
∯ : Oh, you, well at least you never stared, and I can appreciate that quality in a person. I wouldn't go so far as to say politeness, but, you know, common civility. Not a bad conversationalist, either, no nosy questions. So far.
∯ : Well, it's been a long time. Snappy little thing, though. You could keep up, I'll give it to you, and I'll give you the determination piece, as well. Everything short of climbing me bodily and unwrapping my face yourself.
For every ∯ I get I will say/confess something without specifying for whom it is meant
eg:
∯ || You told me once that I was the only person on that team you might consider a friend… I can say now that I should have taken you at your word long ago.
∯ || I wish we had more occasion to speak. I can’t say I’ve ever disliked your company.
∯ || Leave the van Gogh works be; you’re going to give him an ulcer.
