The idea of homeschooled river and y/n studying arm and arm at y/n's house is cute because you couldn't get rid of him that easily, though I bet river's parents are like extra strict, but would totally be for it the minute they realize he can get a GED earlier, handle tougher subjects, he probably doesn't tell you he already got his GED already and is just cruising at your house just to hang out with you, and would heavily take advantage of the fact that he is your only friend
River would 100% graduate a year or two early. Honestly, since you don’t have to socialize with other kids when you’re homeschooled, River would try and isolate reader more than she already is.
These homeschool asks make me want to write an AU about it 🙂↕️

Part 4
You haven't texted River since Saturday.
You're scared.
Scared that he won't think of you the same way as he did back then. Back when he knew you.
You've changed too much in ten years. He'll eventually find out that you're a loser who spends her weekends rotting in bed. He'll call you lazy just like everyone else.
So you figured it's best to avoid him at all costs. Sure, you'd like to text him. To see how he's doing. To ask him if he's been thinking about you as much as you've been thinking about him.
It's no use.
Dwelling on the issue won't make it go away.
It's time for work.
Today you have the opening shift, so you ended up having to wake up at 6:00 AM.
You grab the store keys from your bag and unlock the door. After you've put your stuff away in the backroom and put on both your apron and name tag, you step up behind the counter and get ready to open the shop.
By 8:00 everything is set up and you turn the sign hung on the front door from closed to open.
It's about thirty minutes into the store's opening when you see the man you've been thinking about all weekend. You look down before he can notice your staring, but you can still feel that his eyes are set on you from the moment he walks in.
Once he's in front of the counter you finally look him in the eye. Your smile falters. "Oh! Hi River...I didn't think you'd be visiting today..." you look down again to fidget with your name tag.
He sets something down on the counter. It's a book. "I wanted to surprise you. I also brought you a little something."
Hesitantly, you pick up the book in your hands and read the title.
Shit.
This was the book you would always tell River about wanting back when you were in high school. It was a pretty popular series back then, so you were never able to grab a copy. He promised you he would be the one to get it for you. Of course, after you cut contact with him you were able to find one. You never thought you'd see him again, so you didn't think twice about the promise he made you.
You look up at River. "Is this for me?"
"Yeah, you always did want this book, remember?" he replies.
You frown "Um...I already have this book."
"What? But you told me it was always sold out." River looks confused. You feel bad.
"That was ten years ago."
"But I promised you I would be the one to get it for you." The look on his face is desperate. He looks upset. You didn't mean to upset him. God, you're so stupid.
You just smile in hopes that he'll calm down "I wasn't thinking you'd be back in my life. I never thought you were going to be back in my life."
"Yeah! Yeah! Of course! I'm sorry, I'll take this back." he looks down, avoiding eye contact with you. "I'll just get a black coffee."
────﹒♡﹒────
You hate yourself.
You should've lied to him. Should've thanked him for the book and told him you were happy that you finally got it after such a long time of searching.
But you know he probably thinks you're not worth his time. River is a nice guy. If he doesn't like someone, he's not going to say it to their face. He's just spending time with you because he feels bad. Look at you, you live in a rundown apartment in downtown, you work at a minimum wage job, and you have zero social life. Why would someone as put together as River ever spend their precious time on you?
You look over at the coffee table where your phone is resting. You pick up your phone and turn it on. Opening your messaging app you immediately go to River's contact.
God you're a dry texter.
Could you at least be a little more enthusiastic? This was the guy you used to call your best friend.
Those are the thoughts going through your mind as you read through your message thread.
You close out of River's contact and are about to turn off your phone when you pause. Your eyes stay focused on one contact.
Mom.
You know you shouldn't, but you click on her name anyways. The last message you sent her was nine years ago. One year after you cut contact with River.
That doesn't mean she hasn't texted you though. Her last message was about a week ago.
Hi sweetie! Just a reminder that you're still invited to spend Christmas with us next month. It's been a while and I'm starting to get worried. Of course, if you don't want to that's fine! It would just be nice to hear from you.
Would it really be so bad to see your family again? You do miss them...then again, you cut them out for a reason. They don't need to see the failure of a daughter you've become. You're sure they'd disown you the second they see how worthless you really are.
You huff and throw your phone on the cushion next to you. No use thinking about that now. You're perfectly content to live like this for the rest of your life. No friends. No dating. You're fine.
Standing up, you decide to take a shower. You need to wash away the memories today brought up.
When you step out of the shower you once again pick up your phone. Turning it on reveals a message from the guy you were spending your whole evening thinking about.
Hey Y/N, I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to upset you.
Huh? He thought you were upset?
no ur fine, i was just surprised
That's good. I hope we can still hang out. There's this new restaurant downtown I was hoping to take you to.
A restaurant? Isn't that the kind of thing you take a date to?
Snap out of it! Of course it's not a date. He's just being friendly.
sure, when do u want to go?
Anytime this weekend is fine with me.
can we do sunday?
Of course. I'll pick you up at your place.
Okay
It's a date.
...
"What!?" you yell, probably disturbing your neighbors, but you don't care.
A date. River. Your childhood crush just asked you out on a date.
You pace around your room, staring at the message like it's going to disappear if you don't keep your eye on it.
"I actually have a date..."
A/N: We're finally getting to them actually getting into a relationship >:) Can't wait to post the next chapter
I love your series with river and you know when I read it I couldn't help but wonder what if reader decided to go homeschooling instead, she has such a loving family and such a horrible school life, I'd feel like her parents would be more active in her life and ask if she could just do online classes and get her life together instead of letting her suffer. And I feel like on one hand river could like this more because then reader is solely friends with him on the other since she doesn't go to school, she might have the time to grow into her own, have more interests and possibly grow apart or become someone he doesn't recognize as much, which I feel like is a very interesting dynamic
I think it would depend on when reader started homeschooling. If she started before middle school then I think she would've kept the outgoing personality that she had in elementary school, but if she started it after middle school then she probably would have stayed in that self-deprecating mindset that she has now. In fact, I think she would avoid as much socialization as she could since it's not as much of a requirement as it is in in person school. As for River, I think he would join reader in homeschooling. His parents would probably be against it, but I'm sure he could find a way to convince them. He would definitely enjoy it more since it means he has reader all to himself.
I recently busted my knuckles and it sparked an idea, what if you either got into a fight or just kinda busted your hands, how would the Yanderes act?

How they react to you getting injured
⚠︎ CW: Not proofread, blood, mention of death ⚠︎
Various Yanderes x Fem!Reader
Elias:
Shit. That hurt.
You don’t know what happened, but one moment you were fine, and the next you found yourself tumbling down the stairs.
Luckily, you didn’t end up getting any serious injuries. You managed to catch yourself before your face hit the floor, but that does mean you ended up scraping your hands pretty bad.
After your fall your friend made you go to the nurse’s office to get patched up, so you ended up missing your last class of the day. Elias is probably going to be upset you missed one of the few classes you have with him, but you can deal with his anger.
As you’re walking outside of school you hear Elias call out to you.
”Y/N!” He’s marching up to you, and from the look on his face you can tell he’s upset.
He catches your hand, to which you wince and pull back. You clutch your bandaged hand close to your chest.
Your boyfriend’s eyes widen in surprise and then seeing your bandaged hand his expression morphs into confusion.
He takes your hand from your chest and puts it up to his face so he can see it better. “Who did this to you?” He asks, his voice cold.
Before you can give an answer, he continues. “Tell me and I swear I’ll tear every limb from their body until there’s-“ You cut him off. “Elias! Calm down! No one did this to me, I just fell.”
At your words his expression changes to a look of worry. “Oh. You should’ve just told me that in the first place.” He takes your hand and kisses where the bandages are wrapped. “Come on, let’s head to my place. I’ll take good care of you.”
Matteo:
"Where is she!?" is all you hear before you see your husband bursting through the bedroom door.
His eyes immediately fall onto you. You're on the bed getting your hands patched up by your private doctor. As you were out shopping today, your bodyguard left you alone to use the restroom. What you didn't know was that someone was watching you. They tried to take you. Probably hoping to use you as ransom in hopes that your husband would pay to get to back. Luckily, you managed to escape them, but not without a few scratches.
"Is she okay?" your husband asks the doctor.
The doctor stands up, putting his tools back into his medical bag. "She'll be fine. Just a few minor injuries. Nothing too major." he replies.
At the confirmation, Matteo rushes over to where your sitting and grasps your bandaged hands in his own.
"Max told me what happened. Don't worry, I got you a new bodyguard. One that won't be so careless as to leave you alone." Matteo mutters.
"And what happened to my old one?" you tilt your head.
"He was dealt with. No one leaves my wife to get attacked and lives to see another day."
River:
You walk into River's room clutching your hand. He wasn't surprised to see you here. After all, you were supposed to hang out at his house today, but when his eyes drifted to your hand his brows furrowed.
"What happened?" He asked.
You stiffened. You didn't want to tell him your hand was bleeding right now. You knew he would overreact, but at the same time your hand was in a lot of pain right now. He's definitely going to see the damage eventually, so might as well tell him now.
"Um...I tripped while walking here and, well..." You turn your palm towards him, revealing how damaged they'd gotten.
Your friend immediately stands and rushes over to you. He grabs your shoulders and moves you, so you're sitting on his bed.
"Stay here." is all he says before he's running out of the room.
You're not sure what he's doing, but you can hear him rummaging through something. When he comes back he's carrying a first aid kit. River crouches down in front of you and takes your hand. He opens the first aid kit and retrieves a roll of bandages and some disinfectant.
"You don't have to do this...it's just a scratch." You wince as he sprays the disinfectant on your wound.
"You're bleeding." is all he says in response.
Once River finishes tending to your wound he stands and sits next to you on the bed.
"You don't worry enough abut yourself." he tells you.
You shrug "You have more important things to worry about than me."
River grabs your chin and gently turns your head to face him. "You're my best friend. You always come first, okay?"
Liam:
"Y/N!" Liam rushes to get off his horse. He crouches down next to you on the dirt.
"I told you to be more careful. Why didn't you listen to me?" He takes ahold of your hands, seeing how scratched they are.
"It's not my fault I fell off the horse." You roll your eyes.
Liam ignores your sass and helps you to your feet. He then sets you on his horse, making sure you're comfortable enough before getting on himself. "Hold onto me." He says before the horse takes off back to the castle.
After your nurse has make sure you're injuries are taken care of, Liam makes it his sole duty to pamper you the rest of the day. You can't lie, it is nice to be treated like a princess, but you also don't like the fact that Liam is clinger than usual.
That night when your in Liam's chambers snuggled up under the covers (he insisted you spend the night at the palace because of your injury, but you're sure it's just an excuse in order to spend more time with you) he lifts his head from your chest to look you in the eyes. "Next time listen to me, okay?" he whispers.
You cross your arms "I didn't do anything wrong." Liam narrows his eyes at you "Yes you did. I taught you the proper way to ride and you still didn't want to follow instructions."
You look at him, really look at him, all you can see in his eyes are desperation. He's probably thinking about how much worse your injury could have been. So you decide to reign in your pride just this once. "Okay..." is all you say before tugging him back to rest his head on your chest.
Rowan:
Dammit. Stupid paper. Well, at least this paper cut isn't bleeding.
Whatever. You'll be fine. You continue to go through the documents like nothing happened. And that's when your husband decides it's the perfect time to come over to your cubicle to deliver your morning coffee.
Rowan walks up behind you and kisses the top of your head before setting a steaming cup of coffee on your desk. He's about to leave when he notices the small cut on your finger.
"What's that?" He says sharply.
"Huh?" You look up at him before looking down at your finger, realizing what he's referring to. "Oh. This. It's just a paper cut, no big deal." You say, turning back to your work.
"No big deal? My wife is injured and you're saying it's no big deal!?" Rowan moves to grab your wrist. He moves it so your hand is in front of his face. "When we get home tonight, you're not lifting a finger. You're going to sit your ass on the couch and do nothing."
Your eyes widen "What!? You can't be serious. It's a paper cut. You're acting like I'm bleeding out."
"If you listen I'll make your favorite for dinner." he pleads.
Oh.
You can't say you're not tempted by the idea of not having to cook tonight. "Fine."
Zach:
"You're dying!"
Huh.
When you scraped your hands you didn't expect your boyfriend to be the one acting like he's the one who got injured. But here he is, lying on the ground in a fetal position, sobbing.
"Zach." You call out to him, but he doesn't respond. He just keeps crying.
"How am I gonna survive without you!" he yells.
Rolling your eyes at his dramatics, you head to the bathroom to patch yourself up. You didn't even do anything major. All you did was accidentally cut yourself while you were making dinner, but apparently your boyfriend though that was the end of the world.
He heard you make a small "ow" and rushed into the kitchen to see what was wrong. He saw the blood and panicked, started crying because he apparently though you were going to bleed out and die.
Once you have a bandaid on, you head back into the kitchen where Zach is still crying his eyes out. You crouch down next to him and show him your hand "See? I'm better. I'm not gonna die."
He looks up, his sobs turn into small sniffles and he throws his arms around you in a crushing hug. "I thought you were gonna die! I'm so glad you're okay!"
Summary: Working for the C.E.O. of a well respected skincare company was going to be easy. At least, that's what you thought. You never imagined that your new boss would take such an interest in you. He says he wants to keep things professional between you two, but he keeps doing things that make you think the opposite.

Shit Shit Shit.
You can't believe you're going to be late on your first day.
Recently, you got a job at a pretty well known skincare company. The position was for a personal assistant. Even better, whoever acquired the position was going to be the C.E.O's personal assistant. Granted, this was not the job you thought you were going to get after graduating university given that you got your degree in marketing, but oh well. At least you have something that will pay the bills.
Apparently your new boss goes through his personal assistants quickly. He either fires them for being "bad at their job" or they leave on their own accord. From what you've heard from other employees at the company, the boss is very strict. No matter, you're sure you can get him to warm up to you. You are an excellent worker.
Running into the elevator, you quickly open your phone to check your email, making sure you know which floor you're supposed to be at. The top floor. Of course.
You tap your foot impatiently as the elevator rises. Can't this thing go any faster? You're already late enough as it is.
Finally, the elevator dings and opens into a long hallway. Taking out your phone again, you check and make sure you have the right room number.
When you walk in you can see that the door leads to a specious office. The walls are lined with bookshelves and filing cabinets, on the other side of the room there are floor to ceiling windows that overlook the city down below, and in the center of the room, sitting at a desk, is your new boss.
He looks pissed.
"Sit." he orders.
Not wanting to make him any more upset than he already is, you quickly take the empty seat across from him.
The silence between you two is uncomfortably long, thankfully he breaks it after only a few seconds. "Why are you late?"
You straighten up in your seat at his intense stare. "Well, you see, traffic was awful this morning. I don't live in the city, so I have to commute. I don't really-" He cuts you off "Stop." Ah. You were rambling again. You tend to do that when you get nervous.
"I don't want your excuses. I want my new employee to not make a fool of herself on her first day and actually show up on time." He gives you one last glance before waving his hand in dismissal "You can go home. Let's home you can get your act together by tomorrow."
You want to argue. Tell him that you won't mess up like this again, but when you take a look at his expression, you realize that arguing probably isn't the best choice right now.
So you stand up and leave his office. Maybe a nap will rid you of your humiliation.
────﹒♡﹒────
Once the door has closed behind you, Theo leans back in his chair with a groan. This girl definitely isn't going to last. He thinks to himself. How long will he have to go through this? How long will it be until he finds someone competent enough to do their job?
At least she was pretty. That's the only reason he's willing to give you a second chance. Having something nice to look at while he works will make the boring day go by faster.
Just as he's about to go back to whatever he was working on before you showed up, a knock at the door interrupts him.
"Come in." he says, not looking up.
The door opens to reveal head of the marketing department, Meghan. She's a respectable woman who does her job correctly, unlike most of the buffoons who work at this company. Theo respects her more than most people.
Meghan walks up to his desk and sets a few folders in front of him. "I have a few things I need you to sign." She pauses when she sees the look on Theo's face. She knows that look. It's the look he has when someone has pissed him off.
"What happened?" She questions.
Theo opens one of the folders and looks over the documents inside. He still doesn't look at her. "It was my new assistant's first day. She was late." he says, picking up his pen as he starts to sign the papers.
Meghan crosses her arms "Please don't tell me you fired her on her first day."
Theo scoffs "She's lucky I didn't. I sent her home early. Told her to try again tomorrow." Meghan's eyes widen at that. "You actually gave the girl a second chance? That's a surprise. You don't give anyone second chances."
Theo closes the last folder and slides it over to Meghan. "Don't sound too surprised. If she's late again, I'm firing her."
"I'm not saying giving her a second chance is a bad thing. In fact, I think you're too strict with the people that work here. You should loosen up." Meghan says.
"I see no reason to 'loosen up' around those who haven't earned my respect." Theo replies.
Meghan takes the folders from Theo and tucks them into her elbow. "Just think about what I said. You can't just keep firing your assistants because they make one small mistake. You'll get a reputation." Theo raises a brow "A reputation?"
Meghan nods "If you keep firing people, eventually no one will want to work for you."
Theo looks away "I'll...think about it."
She smiles "Well, that's enough chit-chat for one day. I'll talk to you later!" Theo watches as Meghan walks out of his office, folders in hand.
As the rest of the day drags on, Theo finds himself thinking back to his new assistant. She was pretty. So very pretty.
He wonders what her lips would taste like. What sounds she would make while under him. What would her face look like when she-
Stop.
He shouldn't be thinking things like this about his new employee. He needs to keep things professional.

Part 4
When you open your eyes you see nothing. What happened? Where are you? You can feel some kind of cloth over your eyes. Okay. Good. At least you know you didn't go blind overnight.
You try to move your hands to take off the blindfold, but stop when you realize that they're bound behind your back. Your mouth opens to scream for someone to help you, but the sound of a door opening interrupts you.
You hear footsteps approaching you. They stop. You feel a hand caress your cheek.
"You're so pretty..." their breath tickles your ear, making you shiver.
Their hands take hold of your blindfold and tug it down. You blink rapidly, letting your eyes adjust to the brightness of the room. You look around the room. It appears to be a wine cellar. You then look in front of you, to your captor.
Matteo smiles softly "Did you miss me sweetheart?"
You freeze.
"Awww, don't look so scared. I'm not going to hurt you." He starts to pet your hair, tangling his fingers in the strands.
"Why...why am I here?" Your voice trembles, you don't even try to hide your fear.
Matteo's smile turns predatory "Because you're mine. Because you rejected me inside my bar. Because if you don't want to do this the easy way, then I have no problem doing this the hard way."
He moves to take hold of you and hoists you up into his arms, one arm under your knees and the other supporting your back. It would be comfortable if your hands weren't still bound behind your back.
"Time to get you ready." he says.
"Ready for what?"
"Our wedding."
Your what? No way you were going to marry the man who's been stalking your for the past month. He couldn't force you to marry him. Sure, you were kind of a prisoner right now, but you're sure you could find a way to escape somehow.
Matteo leads you out of the wine cellar and up a large spiral staircase. He finally puts you down when you reach a large bedroom. One piece of furniture looks like it costs more than your rent. Matteo reaches behind you to untie your bindings.
"Your dress is in there." Matteo points over to a wardrobe across from where you're sitting on the bed.
"I'm not marrying you." you say.
He smiles "Don't be ridiculous. Of course you're marrying me. You don't have a choice."
Those last words send chills down your spine. It's clear he's not going to listen to any protests you might have about this situation.
"You have two hours to get ready." he kisses your hair before leaving the room.
Yeah right. You're not staying here. Standing up from the bed, you walk over to the window and pull back the curtains. Only to find that behind the glass are steel bars. Like the ones the use in prison.
Of course escaping this psychopath wouldn't be easy. You can't try the door. You're pretty sure you heard Matteo lock it when he left, and even if he didn't you're sure you'd be easily caught.
Your thoughts are interrupted when you hear the lock turning and see the bedroom door open to reveal...Max!?
Why was he here? Sure, he was the manager at the bar Matteo owned, but you didn't think the two of them were that close. Maybe he's come to save you from this marriage.
"Um...hey Y/N..." he rubs the back of his neck, not making eye contact with you. He continues "The boss sent me in here to keep an eye on you."
Oh.
So that's why Max was here.
"You're on his side?" you question.
Max looks up. He looks guilty. Good. He should feel guilty if he's going to willingly help Matteo with this whole thing.
"I'm sorry Y/N. I really am, but I didn't have a choice." he replies.
You roll your eyes, but resign yourself to your fate. There's no way you're getting out of this. Even if you tried you're sure Max would stop you somehow. You saw how many guards were out in the halls. If you just made a run for it they'd catch you in no time.
You let out a long sigh before walking over to the wardrobe Matteo pointed out earlier. Opening it reveals a long white gown. It has lace detailing and looks to be an off the shoulder piece.
You take the gown off of the hanger and ask Max to turn around while you change, to which he does. Once you're dressed you take a good look at yourself. Actually wearing the dress shows that it hugs your figure a little too well. There's also a deep v-neckline that does nothing to hide your cleavage.
You have a feeling Matteo picked this one out on purpose.
At your word Max turns back around. You notice he tries to not look anywhere but your face. He walks over to where you're standing and places something on your head. It's a tiara.
"The boss wanted me to give this to you. He said his mother wore it on her wedding day and so did his grandmother. Guess it's your turn to carry on the tradition." He smiles, obviously trying to lighten the mood, but it does nothing if not sour it even more.
You're betting his mother was actually happy during her wedding. Unlike you.
"You ready?" Max holds out his arm for you to take.
You're not ready. This is the last thing you want to do right now, but despite your unwillingness, you loop your arm through Max's.
He walks you through the halls of the large mansion and out into a beautifully decorated garden. There's a makeshift aisle of rose petals leading up to a gazebo. On either side of the aisle are chairs, sitting in each one are men in black suits who you can only guess are Matteo's employees.
Max walks you down the aisle. Standing inside the gazebo is Matteo and an officiant that looks like he was threatened to be here.
When you reach the gazebo Matteo takes your hand and situates you so you're standing in front of him on the other side of the officiant. His gaze briefly flicks to your cleavage before he leans in and whispers "You look beautiful sweetheart."
You tune out the ceremony. Looking past Matteo as you think about what your life would've been like if you never took the job at his bar. You only come to when the officiant addresses you and your now groom.
"Do you, Matteo, take Y/N to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health?" the officiant asks.
"I do." Matteo responds.
He then turns to you "And do you, Y/N, take Matteo to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and cherish from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health?"
Your voice catches in your throat. You want to speak. You have to speak.
At your hesitance, Matteo leans forward once again to whisper something in your ear "Choose wisely sweetheart. My men won't hesitate to shoot you if you answer wrong."
You look over to where the men in suits are sitting. You notice that all of them seem to have guns strapped to them. You turn back to Matteo and shakily give your reply "I-I do..."
"Then by the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss."
Matteo looks at you. You look at him, shaking. He cups your cheek and leans in.
As he kisses you, you can't help but feel powerless. This is your life now. No matter how much you try, you won't be able to escape.
~END~
A/N: And with that this series is finished! This isn't the end of Matteo, as I plan to write more stuff on him, but this is the end of his introductory series. Anything I write about him in the future will take place after this series.

There's nothing to do around the palace during summer.
Usually everyone would be busy with some important matters. The guards would be training, the kitchen staff would be preparing for some important dinner with the nobles, but during summer things kind of slow down. Which should be great. Nothing to do means you can relax. But having nothing to do also means that you're extremely bored.
Liam is currently busy with preparing for his coronation that's in a few months, so you don't even have someone to keep you company.
You had asked him if he'd be willing to take the day off so the two of you could spend some time together, but he brushed you off, telling you that you could spend time "later".
But you don't want to do later. You're bored and you need some kind of entertainment.
So that's why today you've decided to take a trip into the village. The markets are always bustling this time of year. Maybe you can even find a nice gown. Liam doesn't let you get your clothes from the village. He insists that the wife of a prince should only wear garments that are personally tailored to her. You never understood that reasoning. You think the gowns that the village tailors make are beautiful.
Walking through the various stalls, you stop when you spot the most beautiful gown you've ever seen. A blue gown that would reach your ankles with long sleeves and silver embroidery.
You walk up to the person running the stall, a kind looking woman who looks to be in her forties.
"Um, excuse me?" you raise your hand to grab her attention.
The woman looks up and her eyes widen in recognition "Oh! Your highness! What are you doing out in the village today?" She gives you a bow.
You give her a smile "I was hoping to get some shopping done today." You look back at the gown "Did you make this?"
The woman nods "Yes! My family has been making gowns for lovely ladies such as yourself for years!"
"Would it be alright if I bought this one?" you ask, pointing the the garment that caught your eye earlier.
She smiles wide. Seems she's happy to have a member of the royal family be interested in her life's work. "Of course! I'll get it packaged for you right away!"
She rummages through her stall, trying to find something to wrap your new dress in.
"Stop." A voice makes her freeze in her tracks. You look behind you to see who was speaking, only to be face to face with your husband.
Your eyes widen "Liam!? What are you doing here!?"
Liam rushes over to you and smushes your face between his hands. "Are you alright darling!? I was looking everywhere for you! Why didn't you bring your guard with you!?"
You roll your eyes and pry his hands off your face "Calm down, I just wanted to do some shopping. The palace is boring."
"We could've done something together." he replies.
"I asked and you said later." you retort.
"Well later is now. And it's a good thing too. I can't believe you were about to buy that hideous dress!"
You gasp "It's not hideous! I really like it!"
You look back at the woman running the stall, who's face is now red with embarrassment at her work being called hideous by the prince.
"Shush! I'll have your personal tailor make you something better!" Liam grabs your hand and drags you away from the stall.
Later that day as you're sulking in your bedroom, Liam walks in, a smile on his face.
"What." you don't look at him, still mad about earlier.
Liam doesn't say anything as he takes his place next to you on the bed and puts a box in front of you.
You raise a brow "What's this?"
"My apology. I know how much you must have wanted to stay in the village and I pulled you away from it..."
You sit up properly and take the lid off the box. Inside is a blue gown. It's not the same one you saw in the market, but it's very similar.
"I had your tailor make you a dress like the one you saw earlier." Liam says.
"But how? Usually it takes her weeks to finish a gown."
"I threatened to kill her!" Liam smiles.
Of course he did.
"Also..." Liam reaches behind him and pulls out a bouquet of purple flowers. "They're bluebells. The florist said they represent everlasting love. Just like our marriage."
"Liam..." you take the bouquet from his hands, clutching them close to your chest. "I forgive you."
It seems like no matter how many times your husband messes up. He knows you'll always forgive him in the end.
A/N: Finally back from my vacation! Also I haven't posted about Liam in like two months, but hopefully I'll be able to post him more frequently now
Currently debating whether I should end my mafia OC series at part 5 or if I should keep going. If I end it at part 5 then it will end where the preview did. If I continue past that then I’d end it where reader becomes a willing darling. Basically what I’m asking is whether or not I should make reader a willing darling in I Need You or if I should make her a willing darling in the husband diaries series.
The only issue with the second option is that I don’t plan on releasing parts in chronological order.
Idea: Texting help to bf bc someone's tryna mess with you,
(options bestie)
1 bf doesn't get there in time and the harasser is beat up lol bf gets there in time 2 he gets there fast and beats the guy up 3someone else beats him up and starts to flirt with you and bf gets jealous then beats up the savior ❤️
You can reject this idea but if you want more I have more, you have excellent taste in men BTW ' 3'
Didn’t do them beating the guy up because it’s a smau, but I hope you still like it!
Characters are from my series Always Remember You!
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
He’s vey affectionate. He prefers to show how much he loves you through gifts. If you show even a tiny interest in something it’s bound to be in your possession by the next day.
B= Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
He’s a very loyal friend. The two of you met when you were in kindergarten and stayed strong friends until the end of high school.
C= Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
He loves cuddles. He loves spooning with you in bed whether it’s when you just wake up or when you’re going to sleep, he’ll have his arms wrapped around you and legs hooked over yours.
D= Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Getting married and moving into a nice house in the suburbs has been a dream of his long before he caught feelings for you. He’s very much a househusband and would do all the cooking and cleaning around the house if you let him.
E= Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
He would do it in person, but it would be as short as possible.
F= Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
He wants to make sure he’s financially stable before the two of you get married. When the two of you start dating, he’s ready to propose the first week, but since he doesn’t want to overwhelm you he’ll wait at least a year before he does.
G= Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
He’s definitely the most emotionally mature one out of all of my OCs. Since the two of you have known each other for so long he can tell what you’re feeling even if you try to hide it. Physically, he treats you like glass. He knows how anxious you can get and doesn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable.
H= Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
Honestly, he prefers hugs over kisses. He’ll hug you any chance he can get. If you’re cooking he’ll come up behind you and wrap his arms around you. If you’re upset, the way he’ll comfort you is by hugging you.
|= I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
He’s been saying it in his head for years. He says it out loud within the first week of you dating.
J= Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?)
He tries to not show it, but he gets easily jealous. Usually he’ll internalize it until he can’t hold it in anymore and he’ll blow up at you.
K= Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
Prefers gentle, romantic kisses instead of passionate ones. He likes kissing you on the shoulder the most. He loves when you kiss him on the cheek.
L= Little ones (How are they around children?)
He loves children and children love him. When he was in high school he’d volunteer at daycares for community service hours.
M= Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
In bed cuddling. If you wake up at 7:00, you’re not getting out of that bed until 10:00. He’s perfectly content with spending his mornings with you tucked into his chest.
N= Night (How are nights spent with them?)
He doesn’t get home until late during the weekdays. So by the time he gets home you’re already asleep, but on the weekends you’ll usually find yourself next to him on the couch watching some cheesy romcom.
O= Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
You’ve known each other for years, so you already know everything about him.
P= Patience (How easily angered are they?)
Not often. He’s the type of person who’d cry way before he ever gets angry.
Q= Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
He makes sure to remember every little thing you tell him about yourself. He even keeps a little notebook with all of your likes and dislikes.
R= Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
When the two of you met. He honestly doesn’t know where he’d be if he hadn’t met you.
S= Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
He sees you as something fragile that needs to be protected. If someone dares to make even a snide remark about you then their life is bound to be ruined. He’s a very influential person.
T= Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
He likes to plan the most romantic and extravagant dates. Only the best for his girlfriend.
U= Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
He drinks when he’s stressed. Whether it’s a bad conversation with his mother or an argument with you, he turns to alcohol as his stress relief.
V= Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
He used to take good care of his appearance when he was in high school, but after you’d cut contact he stopped caring. Surprisingly, he looks better now than he did when he actually cared.
W= Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Yes. He felt like an empty shell of a man after you left him.
X= Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
He secretly wants to be a househusband, but he also wants to be able to provide for you. It’s an internal conflict he’s constantly struggling with.
Y= Yuck (What are some things they wouldn't like, either in general or in a partner?)
Feeling abandoned. He doesn’t like when you cut him out of group activities or don’t include him in decisions.
Z= Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
He sleeps like a starfish. You’ve tried to make him sleep on his side, but usually you have to opt for sleeping on his chest.
A/N: Originally I was going to post River's yandere alphabet first, but I thought it was better for both his character and the series to do the SFW one first
