my friends ocs name is dimitri and i dont remember his full lore but hes… in the mafia… i think… hes like a yandere/tsundere and got daddy issues. hes pretty awesome

and i think all of this takes place early 1900s idk 😭

I get the wonderful joy to roleplay my big alpha crime man with my friend's sad omega author. It's been amazing! I'm very lucky to have such a great roleplay partner. I haven't done a proper drawing of them, mostly really sketchy art but hhhh they give me quick brain worms that gotta get out of me! Miran is the confident huge younger guy who's been a quiet fan of an author. He finally has the time and an opportunity to meet him and is immediately interested. After the book signing the author's agent drops him and with really nothing to lose he goes to a lounge with this big guy. You can imagine where it's going :) AND ITS GOING! Though low key Miran is being an idiot bahaha "You can think of her if it's easier." SERIOUSLY MIRAN? I mean yeah I wrote that but we're all hitting him over the head, right?

mafia + holding hands? (snippet)

there's just something to me about this combination, about mafia guys showing any form of intimacy, be it physical or emotional or otherwise interpersonal.

idk if it's because i'm aroace and writing any romantic gestures should usually deter me, if it were between two "normal" people, but with mafia guys, they're criminals with a strict code and patriarchal tradition, so it's like ... huh, this *really* tickles me.

i've decided to play with my mafia ocs dolls to explore this thought (experiment) more. basically the "it's a third secret thing" dynamic, but intentionally focused on the gayness of it all. if you want to read it, i hope you enjoy

characters: giuseppe (mafia capo), massimo (mafia soldier), his best friend enzo (mafia soldier)

His boss led them through the restaurant, past the kitchen door and to the patio at the back. It was a nice little open area, with white tables and outside garden chairs all on terracotta tiles. Each table was decorated with a tall candlestick that was lit up in the early evening duskiness and a flower vase. At the outermost table, next to a beautiful bed of lilies, the tall mafioso gestured for them to take a seat. 

Enzo immediately pulled out his lighter to have a smoke, enticed by the relaxing atmosphere, then held up the lighter for his boss who lit his own cigarette. Massimo sat down between them, where he had a good view of the people coming in and out. He kept watch out of habit, not like they would be disturbed in a place that was mainly frequented and operated by the Family. At this hour, they appeared to be by themselves.

“You two have been busy, making yourselves useful,” Giuseppe commented after taking a deep puff. His voice was all husky like the white smoke curling in the air between them. 

“Thank you,” Enzo replied, just as a waiter arrived with a basket of bread and a tablet with three glasses of Bourbon. Giuseppe sent him away with a small gesture of his hand before he could ask for their food order. It was going to be cigarettes and booze only tonight. 

“Not bad, working your way up from zero like that.” Giuseppe’s cool eyes examined Massimo as he took another drag. “Though I saw the fire in your eyes from the very beginning. I had an inkling about you two.” The boss leaned forward, patting him on the shoulder. “And seems I was right.”

Massimo smiled tightly at the compliment. It felt good to be acknowledged by a high-ranking member of the Family. He returned the eye contact, holding his boss’s calculating gaze for several seconds. Giuseppe seemed satisfied at his show of self-confidence.  

“Let’s toast to that, eh?” 

The three men took swigs of their whiskey, smoked, talked a little about their nearest future. It was not meant to be a long meeting, but Giuseppe eventually presented them with a little bonus for their last job, which made their faces light up. 

“If you want to spend that money well, I can recommend you boys our best cathouse in the city. I shall invite you there personally, next time. I’ll try not to forget, alright?” He grinned, showing the white of his teeth. 

Enzo beamed at the suggestion. He knew how prestigious a visit together with their boss would be. Massimo raised his brows, he was impressed as well. A little after that, Enzo was excused for the day, whereas his friend stayed behind, just for a few minutes, per Giuseppe’s request. The two of them were still seated at the candlelit table. 

A cold breeze brushed over Massimo’s skin. A second later, a warm hand covered his own laying on the table, strong fingers grasping his smaller hand softly. 

“Hm?” Massimo made a surprised sound. 

“I asked you to stay behind for a reason,” was the only reply he received. Giuseppe’s voice sounded more restrained than usual, coated with a layer of unidentifiable emotion. He proceeded to take his hand firmly in his own, pulling it under the table to hang loosely between the two of them. 

Massimo stared at his boss in perplexity, trying not to twitch away from the unexpected touch. He’d never shared this form of intimacy before, not to mention with his boss. Giuseppe’s face revealed nothing, it was a calm mask of cool composure. Meanwhile, Massimo had drawn his eyebrows close together, his lips forming a tense line. They held hands for several minutes, not speaking a single word between them.  

Giuseppe finished his cigarette. He let go, the cool air separating their heated-up skin where it had been in contact. He got up, briefly letting the same hand wander across Massimo’s shoulders, brushing over the skin of his neck before letting it fall away. Then he walked out through the garden. 

Massimo still stayed behind in his chair, frozen in place. After a few minutes, he licked the last drops of alcohol from his lips and stood up, throat burning and his skin tingling for the remainder of the evening.
