Please please PLEASE mute as many tags as you can to avoid spoilers while browsing any social media platform, including and ESPECIALLY Tumblr and Twitter. Ultimately, a lot of us may have to abandon doomscrolling earlier than anticipated.

This outcome was inevitable, especially considering all the other issues surrounding the fandom, a handful of controversies, and the upcoming official release of Ep. 9. It sucks so bad to know that we’re not even in June yet and some anonymous party decided they wanted to start causing more problems. I just thought of this post, which was actually how I learned what Dark Patterns are, because I tried to cancel my Adobe Acrobat subscription, and it took much longer than I anticipated because several times throughout the process it felt like it was intentionally trying to trick me into thinking I'd cancelled my subscription when I actually hadn't yet.

probably a little out of nowhere!! but

i've been genuinely so fascinated by your comics (especially daihk i think is the abbreviation) that the bug dewi fic is the first big bunch of words like a novel and not like a comic that i've read in a long long time! the way you write reminds me so much of like... geronimo stilton (?) and wings of fire books and it makes me very very giddy!!

You comparing my writing to the works of Wings of Fire is one of the highest complements - oh my god. Love that series to death. Didn't go far into the later series (waited for the books to come out and then high school/college killed my reading time). But that is so sweet thank you. I really enjoy putting whimsey in my writing and storytelling. Especially in a story like this where it encourages the thought of exploration and curiosity in the face of misconceptions. Currently I have about 3,488 words done for the next chapter... which isn't that much in comparison to other fics... but I try. I put a lot of effort into my writing, my brain just works slower than most when it comes to word comprehension
