i know most people are obsessed with the midnights cover but the part i’m most obsessed with that it’s the complete opposite of what’s popular right now and taylor’s actively starting a new trend and setting a new precedent. like she’s never gone so against what’s popular… this hard before. album covers nowadays are clean, crisp, strong images with no type or titles on them. very modern and simple. she said absolutely not and put the title of the album and the whole tracklist on the cover, the picture being small and tucked in the corner. i’m obsessed with how she’s fully just doing whatever she wants.
