Fucking fuck i feel like i’m just all the fucking time losing it!! I’m on the frikin edge and i can’t stand myself or being alone yet i am now alone all the time. I feel like i am stuck. Everything has been taken from me. There is literally nothing stable and nothing that stays and nothing i can trust. I have been only crying 2 months now and i am so fucking ready to stop this. I’m about to give up. I hate this all with pure passion. I hate that nothing is stable and nothing wants to stay. Makes me question what is wrong with me. I have worked my ass off to explore my wounds and heal them and the not so good sides of me and do better. This fucking planet isn’t for someone with a soul or heart is it?? If this is the bullshit i’m dealing thru summer, i’m done. I’m gone. Won’t live a full life on this planet anyway. We explode either bc of global warming and nothing being done it besides it is already unreversable we are doomed. Russia is planning and planning and we are about to enter world war. I don’t want to believe it and i don’t want to believe any of this that i just wrote but the feel for this whole ass may has been that all is fucking lost. So i’m done. May is usually the month when my depression goes away and it’s always been happy month for me but that’s gone too. 7 years i’m trying to get treatment as transperson and get that going but i’m nowhere ALL BECAUSE OF OTHER PEOPLE. There is still a chance of that but we will see, we will see... once it fails i’m done

Sun Tea.

Sun tea is used to connect with the Sun, a Sun deity, or to feel the energy of the Sun within and or around you.

This is my Sun tea recipe:

Bay leaves

Orange peels

Black tea

Lemon juice

Honey

First, you boil the bay leaves and orange peels in a pot of water. I don’t count the minutes, I usually wait until the water is a greenish color. Once that’s done, pour the tea into a cup with some black tea (I usually use 2 packs of black tea to make it strong). Squeeze some lemon juice and use honey as a sweetener. If you don’t have honey, it’s okay to just use sugar and it’s also okay to use store bought lemon juice. 

I usually make my tea pretty strong (I like it that way) and I tend to measure by eyeballing and tasting instead so sorry about there not being a precise measurement for the bay leaves and orange peels to use.

So yeah, that’s my sun tea recipe. Pretty simple and tasty and a good way to connect to the Sun or deity.

Storm Witchcraft

Hello dearests! I wanted to make this as a post for everyone as well!

I hope you enjoy!

Okay so starting with…

Spells and Rituals:

Storm Water:

storm water!!! I like to set a pan or bucket outside during a storm! (Make sure the water is NOT coming from a drain, gutters, etc. Because it will have bacteria, nasties, not good stuff to drink in it. It can easily make you sick and we don’t want that!) As I am a Lunar(moon) Witch too, I then set my water in another jar in direct moonlight to charge with my intent overnight. I then either make Storm Lunar Water with intent to help my plants grow, and give it to my babies. I will make Cold Brew Storm/Moon Tea from my spirit companions. There is so many things to do with Storm Water!!!!

Dancing in the rain…(another of my favs!!):

I like to dance in the rain to release happy energy into the universe. I like to dance and thank Mommy Earth for everything. I like to whisper into the wind and give the rain intent to help everything grow and live on. Its such a beautiful experience dancing in the rain.

Weather Maps:

I like to print out local maps when I have an event to go to but need good weather for it! I got this idea from I believe @stormwaterwitch​! Print out a map of the area where the event is, not too big because it will take too much energy from you, and basically make a weather map (like on the daily news channel) of good weather for this event! I will then meditate on it and then place it on my altar with a sigil and crystals to charge. Sometimes I am extremely exhausted after doing this, so I make a cup of tea and sit on my porch afterwards.

Here is a simple storm spell I found from @hestiaswitch​: (I hope it is okay to copy and paste this with the correct credit!!!)

Easy Thunderstorm Spell by @hestiaswitch​:

Ingredients:

- Measuring cup

- Pen and paper

- Water

1. First, make a sigil. I used the statement “it will storm”. Decorate the sigil with lightning bolts, raindrops, and storm clouds.

2. Fill a measuring cup with water. Fill it up to however much rain you want to fall.

3. Lay the piece of paper with the sigil over the measuring cup of water and let it sit there.

4. To finalize the spell, clap loudly once or a couple times, representing a crack of lightning. You can also play the sound of rain and thunder around the piece of paper to charge it with your intent.

5. As your spell charges, feel your energy connecting with the sky and literally drawing down a storm. Be patient and you should get one soon!

Calling a storm:

I’m currently trying to learn how to call/whistle up a storm/rain/wind. It is a very interesting topic to learn as it has been passed down through families. If you search “Whistle Up a Storm” on here, you should be able to find something on the topic. (Even google is a great research tool!!)

Sigils:

I really just create my own most of the time! But, a lot of blogs with have sigils dealing with Storm Magick. Most of my sigils are made during a storm and say “I absorb energy/power from this storm” or “storms energize/calm me”.

Meditation:

When I meditate, I go to YouTube and look up music with rain/storms in it. I like listening to the sounds of rain while visualizing a rain storm in my mind. It helps calm me. I recommend doing the same! Most nights when I cannot fall asleep, I play this music as well.

Spells During Different Weather:

I def do different spells for different weather types. If I am doing a curse, I will typically wait until a Thunderstorm brews to begin. The Thunderstorm gives me a sense of power and strength. It makes me feel invincible. I will take that energy into the curse so it will be powerful.

If it is Sunny, I will do more happy, luck/love spells.

If it is just raining, I will do a simple spell to calm my mind to focus enough to meditate.

Simple Way to Absorb Negative Energy

What you’ll need:

- Lemons

- Salt (Optional)

- Plate or Bowl

Steps: 

Lemon is not only great for the body but also great for absorbing negative energy. Cut a lemon (or more) in half and place it in a plate or bowl. Put the lemons anywhere you feel necessary. It could be the bedroom, kitchen, living room, front door, etc. Wait 3 days or however long you feel is enough and discard it. 

Optional: Put some salt by or on the lemon for added cleansing.

Household Spells

Here are a few of the spells/rituals I use for cleansing, household harmony, etc! :) 

Cleansing Simmer Pot/Floor Wash: 

- Rosemary, to clear out and ward off negative or stale energy.

- Garden sage (if you need a particularly strong cleansing. Sage does clear all energies, not just negative, so be aware)

- Mint, to purify and rejuvenate the space. 

- Rainwater to wash away old energy. 

- Some butterfly pea blossoms if you’re wanting to really transform the energy of the house, since transformation is a strong property of butterfly pea. 

- I sometimes add a bit of vanilla to add peace and calm to the house as it is cleansed.

Put all of the above ingredients either into a tea strainer/coffee filter, or just straight into a pot of water, depending on how you intend to use it. If you just intent to make a simmer pot, you can just put the herbs in as they are, but if you intend to add them to water to mop, or intend to use it to wipe down surfaces, I recommend putting them in something to strain them so loose herbs don’t end up on your surfaces. 

Cleansing Powder to Absorb Negative Energy:

- Salt, to clear and absorb negative energy 

- Black pepper, also to cleanse/banish negativity. 

- garden sage, if you want to add extra punch

- Baking soda, to absorb negativity. (I don’t have any real source for baking soda being used for that besides it’s physical properties of being useful for absorbing spills and cat puke, so I figure magickally it could work similarly). 

Mix these ingredients in a bowl, and sprinkle over an area you intend to sweep or vacuum with the intention that it will absorb any of the negativity lingering in the space. Then sweep or vacuum the space, and throw out the powder and with it, the negativity. 

Household Harmony Simmer Pot/Floor Wash: 

- Vanilla, for peace and happiness. 

- Cinnamon, for communication and harmony. 

- Apple peel, for prosperity in the home. 

- Coffee, to remove obstacles to family harmony, and for communication. 

- Rosemary, to protect the home from negativity. 

- Lavender, for peace and harmony. 

- Blackberry, for improved communication

Same as with the cleansing spell, this can be made into a simmer pot or sometime to wash surfaces with. If you use it to wash surfaces, I recommend you water it down quite a bit with some water and vinegar, or remove the blackberries so that the fruit doesn’t make the floor sticky or attract bugs.

Baneful magic ingredients and their correspondences

I got a LOT of these from @afledglings-guideto-witchcraft when they answered an ask I sent in, that blog is a fantastic place for information whether you've been practicing a few days or a few years imo.

I've been posting a lot about trying to find information on this subject and now I've gotten a good list compiled in a google doc and figured I'd share it with y'all, feel free to add on your own notes or just any commentary you have or experiences you've had using certain ingredients. I'm using some of these to make a hex jar to try and help a friend out with a shitty abusive household, which I might post more about if y'all would be interested in it, or if I just feel up to it.

Black pepper: bad luck, punishing negative energies

Pickle juice: to bring sourness

Broken glass: cutting ties, warding off negative energies, pain

Black salt: banishment

Thumb tacks: pain and suffering

Rotten tea/anything moldy: for detriment on their life

Hot peppers: pain, irritation, burning, anger

Garlic: disgust and repulsion

Dead matches: to drain energy

Salt: to intensify wounds, to sting, to keep someone away

Mustard seed: strife and discord

Onion: breaking relationships/habits/etc, strife

Lemons: causing pain (think lemon juice on a cut), souring a relationship, or any good luck the target has been receiving lately.

Rusty Nails: can be stabbed into lemons, or added to sour jars/hex jars. Pins the hex/curse to the target.

Vinegar: souring, dissolves relationships

Poppyseed: intoxication and confusion

Alum: stops communication/speech.

Small pickles: male impotency

Beet pickles: female hormonal problems

Thick mud: darkness, suffocation, feeling trapped

Feces/urine: to make their life nasty

Black candle wax or strings: binds the curse to the target

Coffee: insomnia

Tea: lethargy/oversleeping

Gravel: Being crushed and stepped on by life and the people around you

Don't ever let anyone tell you you are a bad person or you're going to get hurt if you practice baneful magic at all no matter what. The threefold law is a rule that Wiccans follow, no one else is obligated to believe in it, I respect people who believe in it and they should respect people who don't. Always make sure to judge a situation very carefully and use this magic appropriately.

And, very very important, research on how to protect yourself from a spell backfiring (because you can get hurt), make sure that your intention is very focused on your specific target(s), and, if you're doing something similar to what I'm doing, do something (protection jars, spells, etc) to protect other people around this person or people from the effects of the jinx, hex, or curse. Oh and if you're casting a spell on someone else who practices witchcraft, make sure you know the signs if they deflect the spell back onto you and try and do what you can to prevent that from happening.

Wind Stones 🌬

A wind stone is a tool to aid in both conjuring and suppressing wind. Simply tie a hag stone (a beach stone with natural hole) to a good piece of cord and tie eight knots along its length.

To use:

Take the stone out to an exposed area and whirl the stone above your head, whilst invoking the spirits of air. Remember the speed at which the stone is swung, must be adjusted according to the speed you wish the wind to roar.

To slow the wind and conjure calm weather, one must begin by whirling the stone at a great speed and gradually slow it down.

Mint and pepper team up in this spell to break a hex

Just combine three leaves of chopped fresh mint [⛧ or two teaspoons dried mint] and a teaspoon of black pepper in a small bowl.

Before you begin speak over your mixture :

When you feel you've been hexed,

No need to fear or feel vexed.

Without harm none you will injure,

But this spell you must conjure.

After dark, sprinkle the mixture outside your front and back doors while you do this in the dark announce your intent :

Make a poppet (doll) to represent the person you wish to bind. Bonus points if you use their clothing to make it.

Write the full name and date of birth of the person on a piece of paper three times. If you do not have all this information just the first name can also work.

Fold the paper away from you to send out your intentions. Place the paper inside of the poppet.

Sew the poppet up while saying “This poppet and person are one in the same. I command you poppet this is your name.”

Get a black, white, or red cord and sharp thorns or needles.

Wrap the poppet in the cord and stick the sharp objects into it while repeating “I blind you and bind you by this charm that you may no longer do any harm” nine times. Make sure you stick thorns in the eyes of the poppet.

Hold over a lit candle and say “By power of fire know this is true all harm you have done is now done to you.” do the same substituting for different elements until you have done all. Bury the poppet in the earth far away from your home.

Use this with caution and only for ones who deserve it. Cross reference all steps and ingredients of this and any other spell you find before preforming. Always cleanse and protect your space afterwards. Feel free to add, subtract or substitute anything appropriately.
