okay, so i won’t be hanging out with my coworker. plans got cancelled again and i don’t think they have interest of rescheduling. im a little bum out but i had a feeling it would happen. they bought me a gift to make up for canceling plans but i feel like that’s a pathetic move. and prior to the day of hanging out i asked what time, would we be meeting up and i didn’t get a response until they saw me at work. and this is same coworker who i supposed i have a “crush” on. after today, im totally done.

i think im starting to like my coworker again but it’s nothing more than just a crush. i know i can’t go beyond anything. ill be hanging out with them soon and it’s making me nervous. i need to snap out of it. they’re just coworker at the end of day. nothing more.

being away from instagram has made my mental state alot more better. i don’t have the urges to post a picture of myself just to let others know i have a life. i don’t need to document every good thing that comes. i don’t need to seek validation from anyone. that was my problem, wanting others to know what i have going on in my life. it just messes with my head and sometimes i would feel bad about it.

i like to post pictures of myself on twitter. i only get one like and that’s all i really need. i validate myself by sharing what i look like. i feel cute and pretty and only i know that.

social media is driven by social standards. you start to compare yourself to others. wondering what the next trend. social media can change one’s perspective on how they perceive to others. social media is heavily influenced by how society views/treat people. it’s not a good place to to be on.

went out today with my sister in clown makeup and i wasn’t nervous at all from people looking at us. she made me feel comfortable with the clown makeup. i felt so pretty, i didn’t want to take it off. im thinking of making clown makeup as a regular makeup routine 😌
