“Shh!” She muttered to her friend as she held her hands over the girls eyes. “You’re going to ruin the surprise if you keep fussing like that. Don’t you trust me?” This could have very much been a rhetorical question, because Maisy definitely fooled Gianna more than once. W=But it was her way fo keeping the other on her feet. This morning, she quickly got up, bright and early at 10am and got her stuff, ignoring the coffee her dad had left on the counter before he left. She had a few hours before she had to report to Jasper, or any of the Devils, and probably even less time before she had to get a part she ordered at the post. How crap it was that they refused to deliver it to her door? She didn’t care if it was big, or fragile or whatever nonsense they told her on the phone. Just simply added more issues and work for her. So, like any friend would, she called Gianna and when she didn’t get an answer marched straight to her door and banged until it was open for her. She’d promised the night before that she had a surprise for Gianna.
The surprise was going to be more of a joke, to be fair. She wasn’t sure how Gee would have taken to the tattoo parlour, but she really wanted to see her confused face. “I promised you glitter and sweet candy, and I shall deliver.” Lies. Unless she wanted to get a tattoo with all that, surely they could sprinkle some glitter like drawings if she wanted? “Okay, are you ready?” She asked again, positioning the other girl right in front of the sign, making sure the heavily tattooed people would be right in front of their views. She herself had a few tattoos already, but this was more to test out what would Gianna do once they were there. “Okay, Gee.” She said, once again, her voice sweet – and removed her hands. “Surprise!” She grinned as she quickly appeared in front, waving her hands in front of her.
“Not when you’re covering my eyes I don’t...” this is more her speaking from past experiences, of course she trusted her but did she trust her surprise being an actual genuine one? No. Though at this point, she’s curious, she’d give her that. She just didn’t like having her eyes shut for what felt like hours--- even though, lets be real, it had been a mere number of minutes. “..and anyway, you know I was asleep when you tried to literally bang down my door.” ah, there was the excuse for her current grouchiness. The only morning off she had all week and her chance at a lie in? Disturbed. Not that she actually slept past 6am ( thanks internal body clock ) and Maisy knew that, so Gianna was purposely making an excuse for the fact that she was itching to see what was going to happen.
With a scoff her brow quirked, truth be told, she had her at candy, Gianna was known to have a sweet tooth, but glitter? She couldn’t work that out. Or more, she couldn’t work out who liked anything with glitter-- purely because of the mess. Ever tried getting glitter out of your hair in one sitting? Doesn’t happen. “I was ready yesterday, so.. yeah..” she chuckled, her tone light-hearted, there was clearly no real attitude from her, it was just how she was. The moment Maisy’s hands were removed and she could actually fully see she doesn’t say anything, she just looks up at the tattoo parlour in brief confusion; watching the guys in the window in silence whilst she’s trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Pulling a face that showed she’d rather be anywhere else, she inwardly chuckled, “I don’t even know what this is, but whatever it is, it’s a no from me.”
