SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT!
Plastic is a super abundant material used to make preservative boxes, toys, bottles, some instruments, and SO MANY MORE things that I cannot count. FUN FACT (not really) - there is now 5 TRILLION micro and macro pieces of PLASTIC in the ocean. If that much is in the ocean, imagine how many times we say to save the environment is turned down. Every day, 8 million pieces of plastic pollution find their way into the ocean every SINGLE day.
Alright, now that you all are aware of this, here’s how to reduce plastic intake at home.
1. AVOID plastic straws, cutlery, crockery, and other eating items that will probably only be used once. This is only once-used, and will be bad for the environment if you use this.
2. Take cloth bags when shopping. Along with this, many stores actually banned plastic bags, and only use cloth bags when letting customers borrow bags.
3. Make people aware of using less plastic in their daily lives, or no plastic at all. It’s really important that you can set a goal and be a role model for people around you to be AWARE for this.
and lastly, 4. Please, please, PLEASE pay attention to putting plastic in the RECYCLABLES bag or bin when trashing something out. This way, people who work at the plastic sorting, and are economical workers have an easier time to sort through your waste.
Please reblog and post this to other people, so that they, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, you, can help when it comes to SAVING the ENVIRONMENT!
