Darth vader/C3po edition.
This is a one of a kind chef knife sheath inspired by Star Wars. Specifically, the arc of the story between Darth vader and c3po.
Tatooine the origins of both, are represented in the "picture gemstones".
The dual nature of the force with light and darkness is displayed in the opal in Darth vader eyes, dark to light, simultaneously dependingon the angle or perspective. Darth vader's chest has bio mechanical elements.
C3po was made by anakin, i placed a spiral loop or a golden ratio design, represented by the ammonite fossil which is embedded and highlights c3po's eye and vision. C3po's chest also symbolizes the golden ratio to be discovered when melding man and machine.
Man creates a machine to save humanity from its own dark side,
To bring or sustain a balance in the force.
I incorporated my sterling silver handmade jewelry in addition to my artwork, designs, and multiple gemstones.
The sheath is made out of wood that I crafted and carved. Every sheath I make is unique and will only be made once.
I use multiple materials to achieve a style or vibe to my creations. Any material available is usable.
I crafted this piece in a long moment of inspiration. The work was intense, I usually do not go down this creative route unless I can feel and see it in my mind.
I believe these creations are unique. As a lifelong artist, i choose to create and then hopefully discover that someone out there.. can hopefully appreciate and enjoy it.
The amount of time and materials i invested to create this piece requires that I part with it at the amount that I deem fair and appropriate.
