Buffon: ‘Juventus have changed’

Gigi Buffon believes Juventus “changed” after the defeat to Genoa and that allowed them to beat Roma 1-0, “I won’t say it’s a fundamental victory, because there’s a long way to go this season, but it is a win that gives us belief and creates a rather large gap.

It allows us to go into the Christmas break with excellent sensations. It’s a wonderful game and both teams deserve credit. 

It’s also true we suffered under pressure towards the end and held out well to keep the lead. I had already seen after the Genoa defeat that something had changed within us and I feel if we got the victory tonight, it was thanks to the loss at Genoa”
