Hot!! Hot day. The heat. IDK man, that is heat, but it really is nice in the shade. Not fun to be outside all the time.

I got a nosebleed this morning???

Had more krumpli this morning. Potato and hot dogs in a sweet paprika stew, so good! Enci's grandpa drove us, such a sweet man.

Budapest is gorgeous, old, so European. We ate carbonara and I had a salad too. Elderflower lemonade. We took a train, a tram, a subway!

Parliament building and beautiful castles on the other side of the Danube. The Airbnb is in the cutest little building.

Now the girls are off to the festival and I found free Guys n Dolls on YouTube!

Time to eat Hungarian gyro shawarma.

The front door of this apt locks from both sides. Meaning there's no way to open the door from the inside without a key. It's so odd.

The Lufthansa flight was great. Crowded but seamless. Butter chicken and potato with peas and corn, a quinoa and cranberry salad, and a roll. I gave the brownie to the lad next to me. Breakfast was potato and egg with cheese, whichI ate some! For the protein. Spinach and another roll.

I watched Truman Show and kinda watched Gladiator 2.

Second flight was Austrian Airlines, despite being relegated to the last seat on the plane, I still made my train!!!!

....and then I missed the second one bdjdjd. It was on a different platform, I ran up the stairs in time to see it leave. Right on time.

Sitting here now, waiting for the next one!

Here at the YVR Gate 64. Chilling out, but the flight is gonna be packed. Too bad I can't check the seats!! It say 31F for the 2nd leg, but 9F on my. boarding pass. Shhhhh let's just pretend that is correct and see.what happens in Munich lololol

Add: I'm so not used to seeing so many kids. I never travel in summer lol

Look at meeeee not worrying. Actually consciously putting myself in a mindset of enjoyment, no matter what. Chilling out is possible, just going with the flow. What is her name on Community!!! Loosey goosey 😂😂

But I am feeling more relaxed than ever, fingers crossed my packing will actually fit in the backpack! Everything else is up to fate~

Yesterday I woke up with the worst migraine and stress at like whatever in the morning and it was the worst. I consciously told myself that I should be ENJOYING a trip, just like I enjoyed going to Vegas or PEI. Remember that feeling, mind and body? Remember how it feels to be relatively safe, and just allow the journey to proceed as it goes? Remember how you've pretty much done EVERYTHING to ensure you've been 'smart' about this and will not be humiliated or punished for 'failing' to succeed? Remember all that????

Anyway today I woke up alive and refreshed, good night of sleep (kinda weird? but good) and feeling so energized and okay with life. Still with telling myself the reminders. Goddamn 'affirmations' can work, but I'd like to just call them reminders instead. Reminder to my silly brain: things will work out. You will be safe. You are not doing anything wrong.

Hormones, man. PMS and periods are getting weirder and weirder in this perimenopause phase of life.

Stressing out isn't going to help me. Why am I so worried about doing it right? About travelling right, arriving right. No one will be angry at me if I am confused at an airport. If I'm late, then I'll deal with it. E and L will already be there.

What if's help no one. Enjoy the process.

Covid IS scary, this is true. Just be vigilant about that, because it's the only part of the trip that you should be stressing about.

Everything else is just part of the journey!!!
