“probably,” he laughs. luca’s known for being a klutz. always banging his big body into walls and doors and losing his balance over tiny things. “it’s the meds,” he rolls his eyes as he jokes. it’s nice to be able to joke about these things with gigi, because she literally knows everything. she knows he tried to kill himself when he was nineteen and spent a month in a psychiatric clinic. she knows he can’t drink too much because of his meds. she even knows what he’s taking. lorazepam, venlafaxine… everything. it’s reassuring that he has someone in his life that knows him inside out and still cares for him. “i think i need a week in advance to prepare myself for that,” he laughs. it’s not like he hates shopping, it’s more like it tires him. “i can’t believe that guy, what a fuckin imbecile,” he sighs. a sly smile on his lips, “well, as you know, i’m way more passive-aggressive than you. so i was thinking we should call to his show and when he says a misogynistic joke, we pretend like we don’t understand and have him explain it and just hear how he realizes what a douche he is. live.” he grins. “too soft?” maybe gigi has a way more violent approach, but he’s more of a inverse-psychology guy. gigi’s face is so expressive that luca instantly knows what’s going through her mind. “aww, you got jealous? don’t worry, babe. she’s just a friend. and it sucks to be you because if i said it was a guy, you still would’ve gotten jealous. you know i’m a bisexual hoe,” he laughs.

gigi laughed softly at his joke. “stop,” she chuckled, because she did think it was funny, but didn’t want to laugh at that. they could tease each other about anything, though. neither of them ever got offended or truly mad about it, because it never came from a place of malice. except when gigi got mad—then she could be a little vicious. “it’ll be quick, i promise. just sunglasses. maybe get you a nice little button up. and i need to stop by victoria’s secret.” she made a point to throw her hair behind her shoulder to expose her cleavage for a moment. god forbid she ever lets luca forget for one second how banging her body is. “i love that. you need to be the one who calls because, obviously, they’ll recognize my voice, but also because i’m sure he would just try to pull off some women are dumb narrative if it’s a woman who dares question his humor,” she rolled her eyes. as for her? she was thinking she could send him flowers and sign the card with a gentleman’s name. no one in the office would care, but the man would lose his shit at it. or maybe she’ll just key his car again. he just had it repainted, so it’s the perfect time. “don’t be ridiculous, luca,” she replied sternly. of course she wasn’t jealous—she just wasn’t keen on the idea of anyone coming near him, was that so hard to understand?
