I read Theft of Swords last summer and absolutely loved it (I’m very picky when it comes to fantasy books but this series is so good wth), so I wanted to try drawing Royce and Hadrian how I imagined them as I was reading, while also somewhat staying true to how they were described in the books.

So for the Delux Edtion of Rose and Thorn, I originally drew this scene where Royce tortures Exeter becuase I think "the" scene in the book. And while I didn't make it graphic, it wasn't what boss lady wanted, so I did the scene where Hilfred saves Arsita instead. So here we are.

My Illustration for the Deluxe Edition of Crown Tower- Royce and Hardian Meet. The version in the book was so dark that you couldn't really see most of the room's details, and due to the time crunch, we really couldn't get new proof before printing, which is a shame because I spent so much time.
