Open name, but for the sake of this ad, we’ll call him Scott. His FC is Scott Eastwood, but that’s open for discussion as well.
Scott’s anywhere between 26-29, and he’s been friends with Maggie since they were kids.
Their parents – both wealthy ranch owners; hers from Oregon, his from Northern California, had been trying to pair them up for a long while. They entered a courtship out of high school, but Maggie’s independent spirit drove her to end the relationship before it got serious to pursue a life that she chose for herself.
Nonetheless, they’re still good friends – especially now that he’s moved in after taking an offer from Maggie’s folks for some work around the ranch for the summer.
He’s still very fond of Maggie, and has been since day 1, but he’s stubborn, insistent, and not accustomed to not getting what he wants.
Maggie herself has been spending a lot of time with a ranch hand – Gilbert, the grandson of the ranch’s owner in tandem with Maggie’s parents, born out of wedlock, and dirt poor, and therefore not a good match – the real reason her parent’s called Scott to live with them for the summer.
However, Scott and Gilbert get along great. They both enjoy drinking, fishing, and boating. Scott isn’t hesitant to hand over a few bucks when they go out, and Gilbert likes to make a joke about Scott’s seemingly endless riches compared to his own situation – though, they’re both hot-headed, which could prove to spark tensions once it becomes clear Scott’s there to “court” Maggie, urged by her parents.
