Writing Commissions
Hey there.
So, to be blunt, I’m going to need some money.
I’ve recently gotten myself out of a toxic situation that had been proving to be very dangerous to my mental health and I am currently settling into my new one. However, money is extremely tight and my mother is asking for some sort of rent from me. With my anxiety and depression at the worst it has been in a long time, working seems off the table for me right now. Getting a job is a goal of mine, but I need to work with a therapist for a while so I can develop some coping techniques, among other things. I am starting therapy this summer, if life allows, but I am afraid that me not having some sort of income will cause tension and hostility between my mother and I. This has been very bad in the past, but I feel that if I have even a little bit of money to give her, it will hopefully help me keep things civil between us.
So, I am opening up writing commissions to at least give her something while I am in therapy. I’ll write fanfictions, original works with your characters or mine, if you wish, whatever you want. I’ve been writing since I was seven and I feel that I’m pretty decent at it.
My prices (in USD) are as follows:
Drabble (100-1000 words) – $1 to $5
Short Story (2000 – 4000 words) – $10 to $15
Longer works (5000+ words) – $15 at the 5000 word mark, anything above will need to be discussed.
