“What, don’t you like it?” Chelsea asked, sticking her lower lip out in a pout as she turned back to Gill and looked at the boy where he was now laying on her bed. “I got it for you because it’s warm and soft, and you’re warm and soft,” she told the boy, walking over to the bed after setting away her shopping bags. “What? Why would I ever do something like that?” she asked before giggling and biting back a smile as she looked down at him. She still liked Gill and had feelings for the boy, possibly more after all the time spent apart. Chelsea had been left a little traumatized from watching him be dragged away yelling that he loved her, but he hadn’t said anything since he got back. Now she was unsure he had ever really liked her in the first place. It could have all been a side effect of the drugs and she was too scared of being hurt to mention it. “It looks good on you. But if you don’t, you can exchange it…” 

“No, I love it.” he corrected quickly to not hurt her feelings, “It’s from you. I’m gunna wear it like every day. Not even wash it. It’s just gunna get Febreezed.” Gill reached out, mimicking her pout teasingly and gently tugged at her bottom lip with his fingers, “I just find it hard to believe that you didn’t see this sweater and want to make me a human body pillow.” He couldn’t help but smile back, reaching his arms out and motioning her towards him to join on the bed, “C’mere.” The boy feigned an insulted look, grasping his chest dramatically as his fist clutched his sweater, “Don’t you dare take this sweater from me. No Jewish boy has ever loved a Christmas sweater as much as this.”

Hayden paused momentarily, confusion filling his features when he saw his roommate. “This isn’t our room.” He stated at first, but after pushing himself inside, realized it was Chelsea’s. That made more sense. He let the puppy down on the floor once the door was closed and groaned, sitting down before looking back up at Gill. “She was following me around and then John was in the hallway and I didn’t have time to call you. I was gonna bring her to our room.”

Gill motioned to Chelsea’s desk filled to the brim with pricey makeup and photographs of her and her friends, “It is, I just thought I’d do some redecorating and add a Chels shrine-- Of course it’s not our room, Einstein!” Gill kneeled down to pet the dog, hoping Chelsea wouldn’t slap him if it peed a little on her floor. “You just picked up a random dog?? Did you steal someones pet??” he laughed, “Fuck, Hayden, I didn’t know you had it in you. We should probably sneak him or her outta here before puppy hair gets on Chelsea’s clothes. If she starts crying then you gotta deal with it.”

“This sweater is super soft, but like. . . do you really think it’s me?” he asked, making himself comfortable on Chelsea’s bed. It wasn’t just because it was colorful and happy, but also because Gill was Jewish. “I have the feeling you had ulterior motives for buying me this.” he grinned, rubbing his hands across the material of the Xmas sweater, “I think you just wanted me to wear something cuddlable in.” They hadn’t had the conversation about Gill screaming that he was in love with her since he came back from rehab, but he was a dumb boy and just kind of hoped maybe he wouldn’t have to talk about his feelings if he just never brought them up ever again.

Hayden was calm and collected as he walked through the hallways of the dorms, despite the wriggling that was happening inside of his jacket. He was hurrying, clearly, but he was trying his best to hide what he had. He planned go get all the way back to his room, but before he knew it, he could hear the dorm supervisor talking to someone around the corner, and he panicked. Immediately he turned to the closest door and started knocking quickly. “Let me in let me in let me in let me in let me in!” He said in a hushed voice, waiting for them to answer the door before shoving himself into the room and revealing what was in his coat. “Close the door, quickly.”

Gill was watering Chelsea’s plants for her while she was at cheer practice (he knew she insisted on them getting water a certain time of day, and if she thought they would die she’d start sobbing) when he heard the knock on the door. Technically he shouldn’t let other people into a room that wasn’t his, but he heard his roommate’s voice and opened without hesitation. “. . . You bastard.” Gill asked after a pause as his eyes scanned the dog and went back up to Hayden, “How dare you break the rules without me-- especially when involving man’s best friend.”

“Shit, really?” she raised an eyebrow, instantly moving. “Sorry, Gill, my bad,” she smiled. “So, how was your summer?”

“Oh you know just--” he was about to make a sarcastic joke about the funs of detoxing and rehab, but he took a look at her face and decided to bite his tongue instead. She was just being nice after all. “It was. . . I was stuck inside a lot.” he said, offering a small smile as he reached in his locker, “What did you do all summer?” He didn’t get a chance to clean it out before he got taken away so it reeked of old baseball practice clothes and some rotten lunch. He stumbled back, choking on the air, “Do you have uh. . . what’s that girly spray stuff called??? Perfume??? Yeah do you have perfume???”

Hannah did not want to think about class yet, but unfortunately she already had so much to do. Instead of doing any of it though, she found herself a spot on the quad, pulled out some candy and blasted some music. She didn’t have to be super social just yet, right? She was lost in the sugar when someone came over and grabbed the bag, eyes shifting up to the perpetrator and giving them a look. “You could have just asked for some.”

Usually Gill would have been the candy culprit, but his hands had been glued nervously in his pockets since he walked out of his dorm. Instead, he watched the person take the candy from Hannah, not wanting to cause trouble by saying anything (which was a first). Once the thief walked away laughing at the sophomore girl, Gill took a cheese stick out from his backpack and offered it out to her, “Here. It’s no Sour Patch Kids, but. . .”

“I never thought I’d say this, but I can’t wait to go back to school,” Nova shrugged. 

“I feel you. Trust me. I’ve never felt so excited to see these lockers.” he agreed in response, voice low and almost a mumble. Of course Gill wanted to get back to school to escape his family, but he still wanted to get back nevertheless. “Speaking of which you’re uh. . . kind of in front of mine.”

SUMMER SYNOPSIS

Y’all thought you heard the last of Gill??? Bitch you THOUGHT. Can’t get rid of this pubehead so easily.

Spent the last 3 months in rehab for coke after getting dragged out at prom. 

With all the detoxing and not being able to smoke, Gill had a pretty tough time dealing with his anxiety and all the PTSD he has from years of abuse from his dad.

Eventually he started making progress, but he didn’t want to go live with his dad so he started making it seem like he wasn’t doing as well so he could stay longer (basically until school started again).

Gill is clean and gave away all his dealer’s stash. He doesn’t sell anymore.

He’s not as loud and crude as before. He’s actually a little more soft spoken and has more of an obvious nervousness to him. Gill always looks like someone’s watching him.

Will probably break and start crying at any moment lol let’s see how this goes.

Nope he hasn’t talked to Chelsea about him screaming that he loves her as he got taken away at prom. Will they ever talk about it?? Find out this season on Glee!

Wendy wasn’t sure what to expect.  Hell, she’d spent the past few weeks crying in her mama’s new apartment in New York City.  She had thought she could handle everything that had been thrown at her.  She thought she could handle her parents’ divorce and Gill being dragged away right in front of her, but she was wrong.  Dr. Doyle had found her in the girls’ locker room, drunk and sobbing her eyes out, rambling about how everything was so fucked up.  Granted, she was lucky that he had called her parents instead of reporting her to Paytas.  That would’ve been a one way ticket to getting kicked out of Foxcroft and that was the last thing she needed.  Just a few hours later, and Wendy was on a plane with her mama back to New York City.  The apartment was nice, and much better than what had been her childhood home, but the deal was that if she went home with her mama, her dad paid for her new, overly-priced therapist.  And part of this therapy was apparently visiting Gill in rehab.  She didn’t know if she could do it, but here she was, standing in some fancy garden while awkwardly waiting for Gill.

Gill had actually been doing well at rehab. In fact, he could have been released a month ago, but with the summer still in session and no where to go except with his dad (staying with him mom and Wendy’s dad was an option, but after all they’d done to Wendy Gill wasn’t about to pull a traitor move and live with them) Gill decided to pull back on his progress so he could stay a little longer. He’d rather four more weeks in group than four weeks getting the shit kicked out of him. 

Of course he knew he had a visitor, but his legs were still fidgety and the boy chewed on his nails until blood drew. Without the drugs, Gill was even more of an anxious mess than usual. A lot of the coping tips his ‘buddy’ gave him had to do with reading bible scripture, but Gill just ‘yes’ed the man to death to be polite. Approaching Wendy, his speed picked up until he was able to wrap his arms around her in a tight hug. Gill looked a lot more cleanly than before, but his eyes were tired and sunken from lack of sleep. “Oh my god, I thought I was never going to see you again.” he said, face buried into the girl’s shoulder. Of course he was being dramatic, but with everything that was happening he honestly wasn’t sure if he was going to be allowed to see her. “Please tell me you brought me a New York street hotdog.” he whispered hopefully.

Hey yall so at the prahm event last night Gill got taken away by the teachers because his parents were there to take him to rehab (*lynn vc* thats so sad alexa play despacito)

Anyway so he’s on his way back to Cali rn. Gill aint getting retired, he’s just on ‘hiatus’ for a month or two while this shit head is there. I wont be posting on him much because.. homie aint at foxcroft lol but if his budz eventually want a thread where they’re like visiting him them lmk (even though it’s gunna be awhile). thnx for comin 2 my tedtalk
