Gillian’s afternoon was clear and she hadn’t a class to attend, so she decided to give enjoy some downtime in the common room before dinner. Well, she’d cleared her schedule herself - she did have class that afternoon - she was just looking forward to not having to do anything from the moment she woke up. Still in her everyday clothes, neglecting to put on her robes until she absolutely had to, she lounged in the couch of the common room. A fire glistened across from the couch, it was warm, and she had hot cocoa from the morning still in her hands.
The atmosphere was perfect... except he was there. Normally she didn’t mind or didn’t think much of the company of James Potter, but she couldn’t ignore his presence. Perhaps it was the feeling that he was sitting too close or being too loud, but she was just bothered. “Could your feet be any closer? Come one Potter, that whole half of the couch is yours. No need to invade on my space, now.”
